Jayden Daniels (dislocated elbow) was evaluated coming out of Washington’s bye. Week 13 is a long shot, but Daniels will return to practice this week.

  1. If they put Jayden in against a team that averages 4 sacks a game, it will be very apparent that Washington has learned nothing and is trying to kill him like they did RG3.

  2. As fun as it would be to have the Sophomore QB narrative, I hope they sit him out against us. Not really for any sort of advantage, I’d just hate to see him go out too early against our insane sack squad

  3. Obviously I’m biased, but why even come back this season at all? The Commies are 3-8 and aren’t making the playoffs, so just heal up and get ready for the 2026 season

  4. That line and that defense is doing their team no favors why risk putting your “franchise QB” into the game when he’s injured

I feel the same way about the bengals

  5. Yeah this is going to be a public flogging of Marcus Mariota on primetime, but at least we should be rested

  6. They really ought to just shut him down for the season and get him healthy. While working with him on how not take NFL hits by sliding and getting out of bounds. He’s not going to last in this league if he keeps taking on defenders at this level. Which would be a shame, because he has tons of talent.

  7. Both the Commanders and the Bengals are 3-8, and both are toying with the idea of throwing their injury prone franchise quarterbacks out on the field….

  8. stupid decision to play him. why rush back your franchise QB to play at this point in the season?? youre 3-8 lol

  9. They are not starting Daniel’s off injury off against the best pass rush in the NFL. That is unless they want him to go back on the injury report.

  10. If I were them, I don’t care what shape he’s in. I’m not putting him out there against the Broncos pass rush as his first game back.

  11. They’re in 3rd place in their division with 2 games against Philly and one against Dallas left in their schedule. I don’t see them going to the playoffs this year. They should rest him.

  12. With a 3-8 record and playing some tough teams coming up, Washington would be wise to shut him down for the season. BUT, it is Washington…
