just kind of an overall thought on the, you know, the road trip, but also just, you know, the length of it, the travel home, the regrouping from that, how you just start to try and feel normal at home again. Uh, been a long stretch. Tough stretch. Um, you know, we played a lot of hockey in a short period of time across a number of different cities. So, um, tough stretch. Nice to be home obviously uh spend a little time here and um yeah kind of regroup and and uh only for one but you know it’s a big game obviously playing Dallas and got to find a way to get a win here at home what was sorry some of what was missing in your game seemed to appear later in the trip feel like it’s it’s a good sign that the tail end of the trip was some of your best hockey uh I mean yeah you definitely want to come you know come home playing your your best hockey now that that was our best hockey but uh definitely some good signs Um, you know, I thought, uh, you know, taking three or four in Florida is not an easy thing anymore. And, uh, you know, it was a good sign for us. You guys come home, you’ve been actually really good at home ice this year, excluding the one game. It is only a one, but you have six of your next seven here with some days off, some practice time. How can you kind of put into words just how important practice is and what you can get out of it when you don’t have it for two weeks? Yeah, you know, we were on the road for two weeks and we didn’t have didn’t have one practice um, you know, all morning skates. So, um, as I said, it was a tough stretch. Um, you know, so we got to take advantage of this practice time. Um, got to take advantage of the rest time a little bit, too. You know, kind of recharge batteries, but, um, you know, practice is important and and, uh, it was a good one today. You guys have been in a situation the last couple years, but do you feel you’ve kind of turned the corner? Did that trip kind of help you, you know, get you back in the direction you guys want to be heading heading? We still got better obviously. We got a lot, you know, um, it’s a work in progress. Um, you know, but definitely some good signs there at the end of the trip. Getting some reinforcements here potentially at some point like even a guy like Tapping, you know, the size, the speed, huge when they come back. You feel like if when you get healthy it’ll be a different obviously that’s the goal. That’s the hope. Um, you know, we haven’t really played with a full a full deck all year. Um, kind of always had one guy in, one guy out. So, um, looking forward to getting everybody back healthy. Um, it’s kind of rare. um you know, but it’s looking like we could could could be that way in a little bit. So, um it’ll be good. Obviously, we miss N a lot. Um helps out a lot everywhere. Um on the on the penalty kill, on the power play, five on five does whatever he’s asked. Cap obviously adds a lot of speed for us. So, um you know, we miss him both and and uh you know, but looking to get healthy for sure to that extent, you know, you had some injuries, you had some brutal travel. Is where do you guys are not that bad considering that what you went through? Is there a is there a positive branded out? Yeah, this is, you know, this these last couple weeks have definitely been the the the bulk of our schedule in terms of, you know, the the grind. Um, you know, that was a tough trip. Um, as I said, a lot of games, a lot of cities. um you know so that the bulk of it is is uh is kind of done on the road honestly which is weird to say so early but um you know looking forward to uh to uh finding our our our best game here. Do you have a thought on Dallas coming in here and you guys trying to trying to, you know, keep this role going, I guess? Yeah, you’d like to uh to keep it going obviously. Um try to string some together. Um that’s important, but just want to play a a solid game. That’s all it is. Um you know, keep our game consistent, roll it over from game to game. Um that’s what’s important right now. And obviously finding wins as well. So um Dallas a great team. Um we know them really well. Um, that’ll be a good
