Rookie cornerback Marcus Harris has been a quality starter since the Mccreary trade. He had his best performance on sunday as he was the highest graded player on the team with an 89.0. Statistically been pretty good with minimal catches and yards allowed.

It was pretty obvious the brownlee and roger trades were gonna mean nothing in the long run but if Marcus Harris immediately replaces McCreary that’s pretty commendable from Borgonzi, from both a drafting and roster management perspective

  1. 100% Harris was the reason they felt comfortable trading away McCreary and honestly Harris showed his potential right from the preseason when he chased down a deep pass and calmly swatted it away without panicking

  2. That Cal defense was pretty good last year and glad to see Harris is adjusting to the NFL this quick. He had a great chase down tackle to save a TD in preseason

  3. I find it interesting that we’re kinda in pre-season mode watching us throw rookies and PS guys in for these games. Normally you only get to evaluate them for 3 or 4 games, but now we’re doing it during the actual season and I have to say – it’s kind of a breath of fresh air rather than us repeatedly throwing the same 9001th string guys at the opponent and getting blown out by them.
