Nicolas Deslauriers Drops ๐ŸฅŠ Gloves ๐ŸฅŠ With Curtis Douglas

Replay was sponsored by your local Toyota dealers. They had five shots on net at Washington. And here is another scrap. Knew this was going to come. They got a couple of tough guys on their fourth line. Deloreier is one of them. Hathaway is another. And Douglas is going to feel his way around the NHL again with his hands. This is his third straight game with a scrap. All of them against heavyweights. And here we go again. Deloreier and Douglas sizing each other up. He’s got a longer reach because he’s taller than Deloreier. Deloreier is tough and strong and he’ll have no problem getting inside. So, at some point here, Douglas is going to have to use that strength there. I think he’s finding out how tough NHL players are, how strong they are. Douglas is still relatively young guy. Oh, he got whacked in the side of the head pretty good there. That’s the Deloreier strength there. Douglas is up right away again and he’s willing to take on anybody. He took on Tom Wilson who is another one of the toughest guys in the league just last game in Washington. 44 Philadelphia 42 Tampa. Both guys fight each fighting. That’s right. You got that right. Yeah. He knows the fans love it too and they’re willing to do it if it’s two guys that square off. You can see all the dancing that was going on at the beginning. Deloreier much more experienced obviously than Douglas. Douglas trying to figure out and now that’s a couple of scraps where he’s fought guys who are really seasoned veterans when it comes to sitting in the box on the other side of the ice and they just had a little eye contact or you ready? Yeah, I’m ready. Douglas is trying to figure out here. Okay. And that first grab of the jersey, where do you grab? Are you going to grab near the elbow? You grab it near the head and that shoulder pad. It was a good scrap. Fight number five in the young career for Curtis Douglas. Remember, he got into a a scrap in his very first shift in the NHL. He made his debut back on opening night against Ottawa. And they’re having a little verbal tussle going on. Oh, yeah. They’re still barking at each other over there.

  1. Dont care that he lost, kid has heart and size and still does get some minutes so he can skate some as well, his first game was Oct 9th hes got to get used to this level where everyone is strong.

  2. Deslauriers just a superior fighter at this point for the young Douglas. For all you keyboard warriors letโ€™s see you drop the gloves with ND and see how it works out. Itโ€™s called on the job training.
