probably saw the comments from uh Giants offensive lineman who was kind of critical of of your play except for you know what happened at the very end. Did you do you have any thoughts on what he said? Yeah, you know, I’m off social media so I didn’t really see it. Some some guys told me, but hey, I think uh people have their opinions about how things went and that is what it is. Um we won the game and uh I ended the game with a sack and I don’t care when the sack comes. as long as it’s there, it’s it’s um and we get the win, it’s it’s great. So, um yeah, I’m not going to address it any further. I think it’s just uh it is what it is. He had his opinion and um he expressed it and uh we’re moving on on to the Packers. Yeah, they told me it was it was just uh it is it is what it is, man. He can, you know, he can speak his mind however he wants, but it’s uh you know, we got the win. I’m moving on to the Packers. Aiden, how different is this Green Bay team from week one when you lost to them? Yeah, it’s um it’s interesting. You know, with these divisional opponents, you kind of get the same flavor a little bit, but a couple different wrinkles every every game when you play them. Um and I’m sure that they’ll have those different plays lined up for us, ready to go. And we got to be ready and we just got to execute our own game plan and um and you know what we have, we got to uh um just do it at a high level. And you know, I think that will everything will take care of itself. You got any tips for a playing on the edge? One more time, sir. Any tips for aim playing out on the edge like he’s done? I think he’s done a great job, you know, so I think he’s I’m going to keep letting him do his thing. Dan said, um, just kind of looking, you know, kind of where you guys are and and what needs to be done. He said maybe this is kind of how it is this year. You know, last year you kind of cruised to 15 wins and this year it’s been a little bit more of a fight, but still everything can be accomplished. Everything’s in front of you. just wanted your your impressions of kind of where you are right now, what you still have to do as a team. Yeah, it’s it’s it’s interesting. you can have the same pretty much the same guys and it can just every team is is always different every single year and different uh obstacles and um present itself and you know we found oursel with a couple losses early and I think right now we are just head down grinding these wins out and um you know really just focused on that the next game and that’s the Packers and focused on being one and0 this week and um really I think if we adopt that mentality it will serve us in the end and um I think going to the playoffs when we are hitting our stride going into the playoffs that’s that’s the most ideal time to do that. Obviously you growing up in Michigan your whole life you saw the Lions on Thanksgiving probably forever as a player now. How much more of appreciation do you have for what a player has to do to get ready like back for a Thursday game on Thanksgiving coming off of Sunday? Man, does that give you a different level of appreciation for this game and what what athletes have to do to get prepared? Yeah, for sure. I mean, especially the OT, I think I had about 70 something plays. So, um, it’s, you know, a lot of recovery, a lot of sleep, um, a lot of water, you know, just getting ready for the game. And I think, um, all of us will be ready. I mean, you know, we we we took the loss in week one, so it’s divisional game. I mean, this is, um, as big as any game we’ll play in the regular season. Have you been keeping an eye on Divine Child? Couple upsets now to state championship, man. I know me and uh and it’s against Tesla’s team, so um that’s another story line that’s fun. So, we were already chatting up about it if we’re going to go or not, but we’ll see. But yeah, it’s uh it’s fun. Two mean defensive players. Did you guys gang up on him in his locker and try to intimidate a little trash talk in there? Who’s that? Who? Trevor, too. No, Trevor. Where? Trevor Trevor went to Johnson. Trevor went to uh Salem, I think. Right on. Yeah, he play he played at GC. Yeah, that’s right. That’s right. You guys got a little jersey b or anything like that? I don’t know. You know, we we were talking pregame, but I was like, “Look, let me just lock in like on this game and then we can talk after, but I haven’t really seen him and uh but we’ll talk. We’ll talk soon.” All right, I’ll do it. Can I do it this way though with all the cameras here? Just a message to all those players that that look up to you that are carving their own path right now. Any message to the Divine Child players right now? Keep it up. I mean, they they’ve gone farther than I’ve ever gone in my high school career. So that’s a props to them and a props to their um chemistry and teamwork and man be rooting for you on on Friday I think. Yeah. Got Rod Woodstein by the way last week. I don’t know if you knew that. Is that is that is that right? You went there. Yeah. No way. Sorry Rod. Chad there too. Oh yeah. Good. Rich. Yeah. Sorry man. I’ve been up and down in weeks but coming off a performance like you had yesterday. How is is it do you guys have the ability to kind of carry that over to a next game? I mean, we we hope so. That’s the goal every game. We got to get the run game going every game. And we know with these backs we have, we just have to give them a crease and they’ll do the rest. Yeah. What did make it so difficult the last time you guys rushed for just 46 yards against the Packers in week one, what did they do that made it so difficult for you guys to run? I mean, I mean, that’s a good front. I mean, it’s a good defense in general, so they did a good job of uh nullifying our run game and making us throw it. But other than that, it was we we got to communicate better this time around and and take over the game. What does it mean to have your division foe in your own building on Thanksgiving in a big game like this? I mean, it’s a big game. It’s my first Thanksgiving game, so I’m looking forward to it. And then, of course, I got a lot of guys I played with over there, so it’s a big game for me to play against those guys, but I’m looking forward to it. They really uh tried to make you work the ball down the field. But I mean, playing the kind of shell defense and such, I mean, what’s it going to take, I guess, to kind of defeat that? You got to keep your clean. I mean, that’s that’s where it starts every game. You got to keep him clean. If you keep him clean, he’s going to do good things. So, how about just, you know, the the endurance it takes to kind of, you know, and the patience level that it takes to kind of work against the style. I mean, I’m just focused on going out there and doing what I got to do every play. I mean, as long as it takes, that’s fine by me. We just got to keep doing it. How much you guys try to build on a performance like you guys had yesterday and opening up holes for for Jir and the offensive output. I mean, kind of like I just said, we know in Armad we got to give we got to give those two a crease him and him and Demo. So, if we give them a crease, they’re going to do the rest. So, that’s that’s kind of how we look at it. How much is this group as a whole that offensive line gotten better since we won? He makes me nervous. Um 58 lurking. Yeah, he is lurking. Sorry, what’ you say? How much has this group, this offensive line, how much have you grown since week one in Green Bay? I mean, personally, myself a lot. I mean, week one in Green Bay was probably the worst game I’ve ever played in my life. So, uh, kind of just learning from that was a good learning experience for me and then moving forward from it. Have you ever played a game? What inspired the new hairdo? Um, I was tired of it. Oh, you had the gut today. I got a cut last Friday. Oh, I didn’t even notice yesterday. Have you ever played a game on three days rest? I guess. No, that was the first time. every every game in college was Saturday to Saturday. What What are you What are you kind of focusing on again to get getting your body right, I guess, in that? I mean, obviously, you got to fit a lot more film into a shorter amount of time. And then, of course, it’s getting your body right, so a lot more treatment. And I’m kind of just talking to these vets, seeing if they have any tips to try to get your legs back for this
