Steelers Beat The Steelers…AGAIN #pittsburghsteelers #chicagobears

That Bears defense is terrible and the Steelers couldn’t exploit it. We ran the ball in the first half, did we? I mean, we did, but it got hijacked by that 55 yd run. Now, don’t get me wrong, that counts. In the second half, the Bears made an adjustment. The Steelers never did. This is why so many people get mad at Mike Tomlin. He never changes. He’s incapable of making in-game changes when other coaches do. It smacked you right in the face in this football game. Not only that, in the second half, the Bears said, “Fine, Steelers. You’re going to stop us from running the football.” Well, all we’re going to do is play action and throw the ball right behind your linebackers in front of your safeties in the middle of the field. You never get to practice against dig routes, square ends. Like, you never practice against that because your wide receivers and your offensive coordinator, those routes don’t exist in the route tree in Pittsburgh. Think how bad this game would have been if Caleb Williams was just a halfway accurate passer. The Bears are a solid football team, but that’s all they are is a solid football team. They didn’t even have their three linebackers. All three of their linebackers were out. That should have meant that Darnell Washington, Pat Fri, and John Smith should have been able to eat in the middle of the football field. It should have been we can play action and kill them in the middle of the field. How often do did we do that?

  1. It’s time to move on from Tomlin and I’ve been a Tomlin guy for awhile. He is not creative and his loyalty keeps him tied to poor assistant coaches.
