where is this taking place and what ages? do you need goalie pads or can they be provided
PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS RINK!!!!
This rink was built by local tax dollars in a public park. Local kids of all ages loved it and so many gathered to just have fun.
It was then stolen by local politicians and handed a sweetheart 10 lease to sports business to run leagues for profit.
It was never gated properly (eg. Smithtown public rink) and when some punks broke the cheap fence, they used it as an excuse to ban local kids from using it.
The compromise was allowing open play under their rules with limited times and no skating allowed.
Unfortunately for the many travel hockey players they have to play at the Smithtown rinks where they’re allowed to skate and play freely.
