  1. 3 points on 3 first half turnovers… Blame Bryce or the playcalling (or both) but you do not win games with execution that shit.

  2. My post copied from the other game day post.

Watch us somehow beat the Rams next week, then somehow get swept by TB to end the season. This team is fucking unreal man. Gifted 3 turnovers and we shit the fucking bed. Not a single fucking holding call on SF tonight and I saw at least 6 very clear holds this game. People act like this sub is doom and gloom and we’ve been through nothing but pure misery and agony following this team for 8 years. We’ve lost 50+ one score games since our last playoff appearance. We’ve lost every way imaginable. How can you not be so fucking full of rage at this point? We’re starved of competent football. And after last weeks incredible showing on offense and Dave’s unbelievable playcalling and scheming, we go right back to the pure dogwater bland play calls that we’ve endured for over 8 years. It’s fucking infuriating, maddening and head scratching. Biggest game we’ve had in 8 years in the national spotlight and all that’ll come from it is everybody’s coworkers tomorrow clowning on us. Just shoot me already

  3. First off, fuck the refs. Awful officiating all night especially on a play that should have been a holding call but turned intercept because fuck us I guess.

Ugly game by Canales, Bryce, and TMac (and minorly Legette for stepping out of bounds on his own accord again.) I’m so tired of these soft conservative plays. We all saw how the Falcons game went. Canales gotta stop it with “baby’s first playbook”. We aren’t going to go anywhere with this play calling. “but but but but Bryce can’t do it” is such a cop-out answer since we saw he could last week. If Bryce can’t consistently then let him sink himself at this point.

Props to the Defense for all the turnovers they recovered. Some stuff on the defense kills me but they continue to overperform. The injuries fucking suck and will make the Rams game ugly as fuck.

  4. I need someone to breakdown last week’s success vs whatever the fuck i just watched tonight. Like I simply dont understand

  5. team is a year or two away, we always knew this. you guys gotta stop getting so high off of wins and so low off of losses

  6. Dave got out coached top to bottom. Look how competitive Shanahan can keep the game with his QB throwing one more pick than us.

  7. Three interceptions by our defense in the first half but only just as many points by the offense. Bryce, Dave, Idzik, and whoever the fuck else should be ashamed of themselves. The defense that showed up and wrecked themselves with injuries trying to win us this game, but the offense completely failed them.

If this had been a simple case of coming out bested by the better team, I’d be disappointed but whatever. Instead, I’m so pissed off for our defense.

  8. My measured take on the game- no panic needed

An inexperience injured team and coach lost on the road (not in a blowout) to an experienced playoff team and coach. This team just isn’t there yet. I still think the season is a net gain even if Bryce isn’t the guy long term we have pieces in other spots that look good

  9. Shit play calling, shit execution, shit coaching decisions (what the fuck was that 2 pt conversion and not going for it on 4th???)

  10. The offensive play overall was terrible, but Tet dropping the easy first down and BY throwing the atrocious end zone pick killed all momentum possible momentum

  11. Bryce is inconsistent Dave is inconsistent. Not gonna work man, gotta have stability at one of the two at least to have success. Going into the game knowing you have a dawg at QB or a coach that will help you overcome miscues changes eveyrhing

  12. Just a poorly executed game from a playcalling perspective by Canales and an unfortunate number of injuries to boot. Three points off of as many turnovers is just unacceptable.

  13. Canales playcalling is seriously questionable. I get that this team has weaknesses in the interior O-Line, but not letting Bryce throw from the pocket u til the third quarter is crazy.

This team and coaching staff is young so we just gotta take the lumps I guess. Keep pounding.

  14. Rico averaging 6 yards per carry. Let’s give him 6 rushes TOTAL. 1st and goal at the 1, run Rico 4 times down the gut. Changed the whole game.

  15. We ran Rico 6 freaking times in the entire game and didn’t take a shot down field the entire first half. Sick play calling Canales!

  16. The fact that quite literally on any given game you don’t know which Bryce will show up is just utter garbage at this point in his third year.

We clearly have a decent team now. His boneheaded decision making is costing us games. If you’re a 5’9 180 pound qb you’d better be a football genius and he is not that.

That said the play calling is not doing us any favors either. 1 yard to go 2 point conversion and you call some weird ass shotgun formation that starts on the 6 yard line? The fuck? Rico gets 6 carries the whole game? The fuck?

  17. I have some questions about the game plan.

29 thrown passes to 13 runs is really rough, and 4 of those runs were done by the QB. Nine carries by our running backs in a game we were never down particularly much in.

That cannot possibly have been what we wanted to do going into the game. Surely that could not be a result of an intentional plan.

One week after an honestly pretty-well called game against Atlanta (excepting some oddness in the 2nd quarter), I’m wondering what on Earth the plan was even supposed to be tonight.

Not saying it’s great that the game could get away from you so bad, but I just have trouble believing anyone would think that’s a winning strategy.

  18. Dude, I mean, I really did expect to lose. But holy shit, in true Panthers fashion, they give me hope but then utter murder me and fill my eyes with abject misery trying to watch this fucking team try to get a yard or convert on 3rd down.

Like we abandon the run, and then when Bryce has to make a bunch of throws he hits a handful perfect. And then rest aren’t even close, someone runs the wrong route, or it’s directly to the other team. Can’t play the Falcons every week.

That being said, this team has brought me a small but notable amount of joy. We’ve had some great wins. But the Panthers losses are still there and it’s just a part of our culture. We lose the games we’re favored in and we lose in prime time. We come back and win or we surprise someone. That’s the only way we’ve won. Honestly I like that we probably will only be favored in the Saints game. But maybe not.

  19. Copium reaction: Bryce + Canales will save their jobs next week and somehow pull out a win at home.

Realistic reaction: I just watched a game in November that I actually cared about which could of gotten us closer to the division title. What a turn around. We weren’t going to go from 5-12 to the Super Bowl. I’m grateful we can watch meaningful games again even if it ends in disappointment.

  20. That was exactly what I expected, yet I was somehow still disappointed.

I expected to just get blown out.  Not get blown out by a team that also played like shit.

  21. Dave Canales is going to have to decide whether he wants to bet his head coaching career on Bryce Young.  One good game and flashes in big moments doesn’t take away three years of subpar play.

If Bryce is still starting next season, that is Dave Canales banking his job on him.  Personally, I can’t see him being willing to do that.

  22. Blame Bryce all you want…he played bad. But the real reason this team sucks is there is never any consistency and no real identity, which to me is a coaching issue. I can barely evaluate Bryce (aside from obvious mistakes) because the playcalling was so bad. Rico with only 6 carries? PA Rollout plays without establishing the run? Drops on key downs?holding calls preventing any sort of rhythm? Bad Bryce TO’s? Recievers getting locked up on gotta have it moments? Where do I place the blame? An offense with this many issues and constant oline rotations just won’t be good.

  23. I’m a lifer fuck it. I was born into this shit. Win or lose keep pounding (my ass) idgaf anymore.
