Karl-Anthony Towns on confidence through slumps and what he’s thankful for: “I’m extremely thankful for the opportunity to call my father and he answers the phone. And I’m extremely thankful that I continue to wake up every day and try again, even when yesterday was a hard day, I get to try again.”

  1. Former teammates of his are out here paying some for abortions and being homophobic

Meanwhile KAT is hated for being a good guy (and maybe a tad bit fruity)

  2. Kat’s difficulties during COVID gave him clarity on what matters most; good on him for keeping hope alive.

  3. Soon as he gets toasted defensively and they lose a game in the playoffs…fans here turn on him quickly.

Feels like deep down fans don’t believe in him

  4. I said this in the game thread: For everything I say about KAT on the court, to be completely honest, he’s just such a good dude off the court.

  5. He’s a standup dude. You don’t see this mentality a lot from people who make as much money as KAT does

  6. KAT is one of the best dudes in the league and one of the most talented, never worried about his scoring ability or his drive or his character, he just has no defensive iq

  7. I think he likes being the #1 option. He sulks when he isn’t.

Having said that….I think, in certain situations, he should be the number one option…. no matter who’s on the floor

  8. I ran into KAT last year before an away game. He was such a genuine, nice dude. I’m happy he’s on my team.
