[Highlight] Aaron Rodgers knew the Steelers were in an illegal formation from the sidelines and couldn’t do anything about it.

  1. This play was one of the most costly plays of the game. After the run from Mason they were in a good position to at least tie the game. I am frustrated with these types of penalties that seem to be pointless although with that said they also seem to be pretty common.

  2. You know, I was going to keep quiet and let the “glass half empty” people have their moment, but does anyone honestly think we still lose this game if Rodgers had played (well, a healthy Rodgers anyway)? We still have 6 games left and every one of them is winnable. Don’t think I’ll be ready to call it a “wrap” until they lose to Baltimore because this year it really is “win the division or else” for us.

  3. I too ask “what are our coaches doing” but after watching this I feel more confident in a future matches against the ravens

  4. Mason Rudolph should’ve recognized this too. He’s been in the nfl for years. You don’t need to be a football genius to identify an illegal formation.

  5. It kinda looks like Calvin Austin at least noticed that something was wrong. I’m not sure if Austin himself was supposed to be on the line or if someone from the other side of the formation was out of position.

  6. 3&4 probably the most important play. Team comes out in the wrong formation late change clock ticking down. How do you not call a a time out? Inexcusable. Thats on the coach. Living in our fears we are going to need the timeouts if we dont convert

  7. Okay, let’s analyse and not blame people from left and right for fuck sake:

Austin recognises that Gainwell is out of position (most likely KG is out of position IMO), as he points to KG to move up to LOS (right hand pointing forward). Then he tries to point to Mason to wait (left hand), but the ball is snapped.

Ugh, I have spoken. Now fight

  8. I don’t want to see Mason Rudolph start another game for the Steelers. He really disappointed me yesterday.

  10. He knew it took too long to get the play called and there was not enough time to get aligned with the motion. If the play gets in quicker, Mason probably has time to realize the formation issue.
