Old comments talking about SGA that I thought were funny
November 25, 2025
No hate, obviously Shai had a jump that was decently unprecedented. Just thought it was funny. To be completely honest, I was high on Shai and even I underestimated him in this comment.

Turns out he was that tier
Ngl I didnt expect him to become as good as he has either. I dont feel like “Dame ceiling” at the time was a bad take. He was at 24.5 ppg on 56% TS in 21-22 and in 1 season jumped to 31.4 ppg on 63% TS. It was absolutely unprecedented and catapulted him into top 3 discussion. Either way, as a fan, I won’t complain. It’s amazing how much he’s progressed in the last 3 seasons and was the main reason we just won a title.
93 fools agreed with that one big fool
they underestimated how hard this guy works
Casuals man
Pulling up years old comments of your own to pander support and acknowledgement is sad, even if it supports the sub’s narrative.
All his peers in the NBA also used to say even 3-4 years ago that SGA is something special.
Lets just say a lot of people underestimated him, even some okc fans maybe, and it’s understandable at the time, after few years in the league and more than decent stats at a bottom team like OKC, at that time, not many people had faith. But even with OKC’s position at the time, he was still very worthy of the ‘franchise cornerstone’.
