Game Highlights: Rangers 3, Blues 2

and he loves playing for that guy right there in Jim Montgomery. No doubt about that. Well, the Blues send the opening face off down into the Rangers zone. Taylor Radish trying to clear and couldn’t. Kyu to the line. Broberg near side. Pero back to Broberg. Circle of the far wing. Score. Jimmy rather Dylan Holloway. What a shot from the top of the far circle. And for the eighth time in nine games, the Blues draw first blood. You have to go back to the battle right here. He separates body and then takes puck. That’s hard to do. He accomplishes both things. And when you do that, you’re going to end up on the right side of things. He gets the puck moments later and it’s just a clean, swift shot. There it is. See the bang? And then he uses his skate, kicks it to the stick, and then all of a sudden we’re playing in the fun zone. You have offensive zone possession. They move it to Holloway and it’s just a quick little flick of the wrist. You know, you know, back in the day to get a fiveame suspension in that era, you really better do something bad. Yeah. Well, he did say, he said the gesture had nothing to do with the people that was for the league is what Steve Dermat said at the time. Down into the corner now, rimmed by the near side. That’s about the fourth time tonight we’ve seen the Rangers put the puck out of the zone. Well, you’re hearing the frustration from the crowd again. Full possession like we just mentioned, but nothing going. They get it down in the middle. Bradzinski near wing and New York scores. Troche on the rush. Chance ties the game 1-1 here halfway through the second. Here’s your Bob Marino robo cam. Look. So the New York Raiders, they leave the zone, but they go back quickly. That catches everyone on the ice still, including the defenseman. A quick little snap up. The Rangers recognize they can catch a tired defensive group on their heels. For all you folks out there while I collect myself. Yeah, you know you’re in trouble when your family gets you like three of those back shavers for Christmas. Puck coming now to the near side. Sabenad to the right wing. Fox goes to shoot it. It’s knocked off a glove in front and the reach of Pareo. Put it to the side. Early pressure from the Rangers and they score. Lafrenier right in front of the net with Broberg. The referee said he saw it below the goal line. Well, we’ll see a great look at it right here. Gabricov is going to throw a simple shot at the net. Lafrenier is right there. He gets a piece of it. Man, it’s hard to kind of see right there, but it looked like Well, they are going to go look at it, Joe. Maybe. I think they’re going to look at it. It’s really tough from that angle. And that one’s a little bit too quick. The the question becomes left point. Gabricovan strength. It’s five on five. Rangers in the offensive zone. Fox again. Another deflected shot goes wide. They feed in front and score. That puck brought in front to Brett Bard. And the Rangers have two in the third to make it three to one. Right after the faceoff loss, it’s going to kind of get milled around. You’re going to see this fourth line we talked about to start the game. They have crushed opponents. They’ve been the most consistent line for Mike Sullivan. You see Carrick moving it around. Fox is going to shoot this puck and then left all alone. 338 to go. We’re in the third. Blues need the power play to get him in the game. Kyu shoots. Glove saves Shusturkin off the glove to the near wing. What a deflection. Brings right off the crossbar now with 125. They got to get to work cuz they still need two. They’ve got the goalie pulled still. Faulk to Butch Neic. Shoots it. He scores off of Braden Shen right in front. The Blues get a goal. They’ve got a chance with a minute 15 to go in the third. Shen has made it three to two. Well, we said they got to get one and they got to get one in a hurry because they still need two to get the puck at the net. It starts with the faceoff win by Braden Shen. A few passes around the horn and then you’re going to watch Pava Bush Davis right there. Again, you can’t waste much time. You can’t wait for the perfect play. Look at Braden. He’s parked up right in front. Ooh, it catches him right off the midsection there. It looked like Faulk and Kyu are lined up right behind Shen. You’re going to see him there. Shen wins it clean, but it goes past Faulk and all the way out. And the New York Rangers keep the Blues from winning back-to- back games again.

Highlights from a 3-2 St. Louis Blues loss to the New York Rangers on Nov. 24, 2025 at Madison Square Garden with goals from Dylan Holloway and Brayden Schenn.

  1. This team is so lifeless. If we could somehow trade buchnevich kyrou parayko and Schenn and come away with 3+ first rounders to kick the can down the road 2-3 years I’d be happy.
