The Cleveland Browns beat the Raiders in Shedeur Sanders 1st NFL start + Myles Garrett dominates
Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Heat. Hey, Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. around. He Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Hey, hey, hey. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Jay Crawford, Adam the Bull, Garrett Bush, Dustin Fox, Jason Lloyd, Tyus Powell, plus Da da da. You’re loving them. Mikey McNuggets. And so many big names, it would take me hours to say all of their names. The ultimate Cleveland sports show starts now. Booya. Hey, go play. We have made it to three wins. Woo! We matched last year’s win total in November and we’ve got six games to go overachievers. Can we get to Can we get to above 500? Can we do that? I don’t know. Who’s going to beat us? Uh, Buffalo, Pittsburgh. I don’t know. Oh, come on. I don’t know. You’re insane. I don’t know. I had that for breakfast. That’s that Kool-Aid right there. That was my breakfast right there. That That red Kool-Aid. That red is potent. red as come on. It’s at least nine and eight. Oh my god. Titus was right this morning. I did talk to Tyus. He says uh he says he’s still in line for those nine wins. No, he’s not. Technically, he’s still alive. Yeah, he is. We could have three wins. We could have six wins. I could see us legitimately winning three more games. I can I can’t see us winning all six. No, no, no, no. We got even three more season. The Titans, that’s another win. So there’s four and we need a there’s no such thing as a guarantee. No, that’s a guarantee. That’s not a guarantee. You thought the Jets was a guarantee. That’s I did. The Jets are a bad I did. Titans are worse. Yeah. Yeah. The thing that made me most happy about yesterday, aside from that the ridiculous defense. We are definitively not even close to being the worst team in the NFL. It’s not even close. Yeah. Like the Raiders kind of the Raiders did the Raiders. We McNuggets was doing all the we was talking about the Raiders as if we talked about the Browns. Oh, I told Mike upstairs that Raiders performance yesterday was worse than any Browns offense I’ve seen all year. I would absolutely cosign it. It was stunning how inept they were on offense. The point they fired the offensive coordinator right after the game. Right after the game, you got to go. You didn’t even get to shower. Wow. No, bro. This is for personnel at home. And you are no longer a personel chip. Go home. And you want to have proof of how low the bar is here. Listen to the first two minutes of this show so far. Well, that’s right. Well, that’s fact. But I’m just saying watching that game yesterday. Yeah. The Raiders thought like, oh my god, they could not move the ball. Now when it was 14 to three, I literally said in fairness to straight out and punt and we win this game. In fairness to their offense, our the Browns defense is way better than their defense. The defensive line was tremendous. I mean, they their offensive line stinks. So the the the Raiders like Gino shouldn’t be this bad. He’s been a solid NFL quarterback. He was missing guys by seven yards. Well, the first play of the game, he had Trey Tucker wide wide open. I thought, “Oh my god, at seven nothing.” Zack and I were joking in the press box. He was 0 by seven yards. I said, “He overshot him by 14.” But then he throws two dimes down the sideline at the nice passes. It’s like, where did that come from? Yeah, it’s really terrible. It’s our buzz. We are not the worst team and it’s not even close. The Browns are not the worst. Not even close. Sucks that he didn’t have no watch on, man. He should have Maybe if he would have had, man, I got a little something very special. I don’t have I don’t have a watch. I meant to try to get one. You want a watch? This is it, man. The Kool-Aid is pouring. I will tell you this. I will tell you this. I said it before. Hey, man. You say what you want to, but I’m going to tell you, every one of them Cleveland Browns fans and everybody that pulled up. Oh, you were entertaining. Oh, you were entertained. You was locked in. Oh, you you was locked in slightly. The only drama to me was were we going to blow that big lead. No, because that’s what we do. Yes, but we did not. But we got, you know, I I heard a lot of criticism of how conservative we were. Now, not kicking that field goal at the end. That’s indefensible. We are on the 29 yard. What are you punting for? What are you doing? Kick the field goal. Um, but I didn’t really have a problem. I know a lot of my buddies did. A lot of my buddies had a problem with the game call the plan after like when we got up 14-3 I’m like this offense isn’t scoring 14 points. No, the game is over. Well, I wasn’t really It’s the You never know. It’s the Browns. I didn’t know but I just You can’t complain. The same fans that would complain about being conservative yesterday. The same fans that complain when we throw the ball too much and get picked off when we have no business to throw. Yeah. That’s why I was okay with it. I thought it was the right play. I didn’t like kick. I didn’t like punting the 29 yard game. You kicked a field goal at that point. The odds of it getting blocked and bad things happening are higher than you punting and them scoring twice in one minute. Yeah. I mean, at that point, you’re doing what I call Browns math. You’re doing like Remember the game against the Giants a couple years ago? That’s Browns math. Only the Browns can screw that up. It just showed you that they don’t have that much confidence in Andre Schmidt still. Yeah. Or the protection, whatever it is. But man, like I just trust in that defense defense. He’d made a 48 yard a couple minutes before that, right? Was it 48, 49? A few minutes before that. Yeah, I would have been fine with it. Either way, either way, I I it wasn’t the greatest game in the world. There wasn’t There really was no high drama. Um but like I said on Friday, the reason to watch this team is to see Miles Garrett break I think he’s going to break uh a big time historic record. I think he’s going to get it and I think he’s going to get it easily. Well, and to watch Shador Sanders, which is what we’re gonna get first up, two things before we dive in. We got Joe Thomas at 12:30. Thrilled to talk to Joe Thomas. Perfect time to have Joe on. We also did our first ever live watch party yesterday. Tremendous success. Just want to say thank you to everyone who tuned in. It was a blast. Uh we made there’s no set plan to do it again. We may do it again. We may not. But it was an awesome time. The support was incredible. We had over 100,000 people stop by in the Who was the largest audience at any one time? Do we know? 10K. How much? 10K. That’s a big That’s a big number. Big number. So, we appreciate every single one. We had a blast doing it. It’s already the most views of any show we’ve ever done. Yeah. So, we we just want to say thank you. We appreciate y’all. We love y’all. And we got a huge show and let’s dive right into it, guys. We’re going to start with a quick word from FanDuel, though. The NBA is back and there’s no better place to get in on the action than with FanDuel, the official sports betting partner of the NBA and the NFL. Right now, FanDuel is giving new customers $300 in bonus bets when their first $5 bet wins. So, head over to fanduel.com/uss to sign up and play your game with FanDuel, the official sports betting partner of the NBA. And guys, we got an incredible winning ticket from our guy Darren Smith, friend of the program, Darren Smith. He hit a 25part parlay yesterday. 25 parts. He bet $10. He won $1,424.74 25 game parlay. Shout out to our guy Darren. If you have a winning ticket, make sure you send it in and you can walk away with over $1,400 just like our dear friend Darren Smith. So, shout out to Darren. His Chiefs also got a win yesterday. If you have a winning FanDuel ticket, make sure you send it in so we can feature it right here. I don’t believe in jinxes, but if anything, Mike just got the Chiefs back to the playoffs. You’re welcome. You were counting out the Chiefs yesterday and it all went to hell from there. At what point when it was like 24 to What was the score? What? It was 20 to nine. 20 to nine. Yeah. Were you counting them out? No, I literally said if they lose this game. Yeah. Well, that’s very No one cares about the Chiefs here. We got to talk about Shador Sanders. That is where we are starting, guys. Gian Bull, you did this exercise for us on the live watch party. So, I’m going to start with Jay first on this one. Jay, what grade would you give Shador Sanders in his first NFL start against the Las Vegas Raiders? I give Shador Sanders a very solid B. Very solid. Um I I think you and I were really close on the final score. Um there were no surprises in this game for me. I I had his stats almost exactly almost exactly. I said he was going to be 12 for 25. He was 11 of 20. I said he was going to throw for 200 yards, a tutty, and a pick. Like he did I Here’s what he proved to me yesterday. And not that this is going to not this this is no grand statement, but I thought he once the game was when that was 14 to3 to me the game was over. I said now he’s just got to manage the game. Don’t screw it up. And aside from the interception, which I still don’t know what he saw or what he was looking for. I don’t know if he talked about that in postgame because I didn’t hear his postgame. I’m not quite sure what the explanation was to that. But short of that, if the if the pass wasn’t there, he threw it away. The thing that most impressed me was his biggest Achilles after last week was his retreat. He didn’t do that yesterday. Now, the biggest mystery to me of the entire game was why in the world did the Raiders not send pressure? I’m I’m thankful they didn’t, but I wonder if that was talked about after the game, but he didn’t really face pressure. So, we don’t know what that’s going to look like when he does. I I imagine he will against San Francisco, but the few times that the pocket was breaking down, he looked to step up, not step back. And playing quarterback in the NFL is an evolution. It’s it’s about building on what you’ve done successfully the week before and taking out, you know, improving on your deficiencies and not not forming new deficiencies. He did that and for that I got to give him a solid B. the throw downfield. That’s what this offense has been desperately missing. And look, even if it was incomplete, what it showed me was he’s not afraid to do it. And Dylan Gabriel is afraid to throw the ball past 10 yards. I think he he feels like he’ll turn into sugar water if he does that. And this guy is not afraid to sling it. And for that, um, I commend him. As for what I I really don’t know what I would say I need to see improvement upon. I mean obviously there’s areas he can improve, but like the the pass chart looks very similar to what it has all year long. A lot of passes this way, but one of them was busted for a 66-yd touchdown run and we hadn’t seen that. The last thing I’ll say about Shidor Sanders, we say all the time that a r a rising tide picks up all boats. The offensive line blocked better than I’ve seen them block all year. I thought with the exception of that awful brain fart from Jerry Judy, I did think that the receivers were running hard routes. I think they were playing hard. I think it sparked the defense. There was clearly a jolt of energy that was sent through that Browns entire team, special teams, offense, defense yesterday. Why? Because they were just as curious as we were. let’s see what he can do with a week under his belt. And that excitement sparked something in this football team. Now, the key is, can he carry it over to San Francisco? And all of that, we’re going to find out, but for what he was asked to do on Sunday and the amount of pressure he had to be under, his pops was there. Now, say what you will, we’ve all played youth athletics. We all know the feeling of dad being in the stands. On one hand, you’re happy because if you do well, he’s there to see it. But on the other hand, if you don’t, you have to face him after the game. And that can be tough, especially when your dad is Deion Sanders. Jason, what you think? One of the guys chime in who were on the show yesterday and kind of already did this exercise. Uh, I thought the throw to Bond was a big time big time throw. That was a terrific throw. And I thought that they it’s sort of what we talked about. They put the guard rails up with him and they very much limited what they wanted to see out of him and he performed within the guard rails and going back to Vegas’s offense was so bad they never had to put the ball in jeopardy. They never had to tell him go win the game and so he made like the the throw to Judy before the I don’t know what he was doing. I don’t know. I thought he popped a hamstring. I did. We’re we’re going to get to that. I promise. I It’s like no, he didn’t get I thought he hurt himself. like no, he didn’t get hurt himself. I don’t know what he was thinking. The throw itself, like that’s a that’s a that was a standard NFL throw. Like that is a good play, but that’s a throw that most quarterbacks in the NFL should make. It’s just that we haven’t seen that around here. So, it looked dazzling and amazing. But the Bond throw was a terrific play to feel the blitz to to as you said, Jay, to not do what he did last week, to not leap backwards, but to move to where he should have moved to be able to pick him up, make that play. I was talking to Mike upstairs. The big thing with Shadore is going to be I I feels to me like, and you guys can disagree, he’s at his best when he’s on the move. Completely agree. So, how do you play with freedom within structure? How do you get him on the move to where it’s not just a free-for-all and it’s not you because you don’t want your big your best plays to be when everything breaks down? Like you’re not going to have sustainable success in the NFL if the only time you have big plays is when everything breaks down and it becomes, hey, go deep and like that’s just No, you can’t live that way. It works occasionally, but you can’t have sustained success in the NFL, but he is better on the run. So, how do you play with freedom within structure? And that’s going to be the the trick for these guys going forward. But they didn’t ask a whole lot of if you really look at it. A lot of the throws were dinks and dunks and short throws and quick throws. Um, and but you know, the the one bad throw, it’s one bad throw. Yeah. I you was it addressed do you know after I didn’t hear him talk about it but I missed the start of his post game because I was in the locker room it was you know on that play if you watch or what they did is is they um they dropped the defensive end play side in a hook zone so the defensive end kind of flash dropped back into coverage and I think you know he just he just didn’t see the defensive end I mean he threw it into triple coverage there’s already there was two guys triangulated what grade do you give him I would give him C plus B minus okay somewhere in there because again like on a that’s on a a scale compared to everybody, right? Yes. I think a B and I gave him a B yesterday. It was more like that’s on a sliding scale to some degree. What do you think? Mine was a sliding scale. Bull. Mine was based on I mean if you’re going to base it on the rest of the quarterback play we’ve seen from the Browns this year, it’s a B+. Yeah. So, or you can you can base it on quarterbacks in general. Like if you’re just watching games and you’re just looking at quarterbacks, right? Then it’s not a B. Then it’s not a B. No. And I want to point I want to make sure that I because I didn’t think to clarify my comments. My comments are based on what the hell we’ve seen at quarterback this year and what he was asked to do. What he was asked to do and I definitely took that into account because guys this was a monumental ask. I know that it was the perfect storm. It was a bad offense. It was a bad defense. What was the crowd? What was it like? It was three quarters full and it was half to three/4ers Browns of the three quarters. that and and I took that into account. I took into account that I know it’s a road game, but it wasn’t a hostile road game. Uh so if I’m if I’m judging him based on all the quarterback play yesterday, where do I slide him in? He’s probably a C in the middle of the pack, maybe a little below. But that’s not the scale I’m using. I’m using Cleveland Browns. This situation, he’s a rookie. I mean, we’ve been we’ve been drinking dirty river water. That’s exactly right. So Kool-Aid with no sugar tastes pretty damn good right now. when you when you take it into consideration, uh shout out to uh there’s one thing that was legendary about it is we’ve seen quarterback play here for years and years and years since 1995. Not one rookie 0 and 17. 0 and 17. Yeah, he’s going down in the annals with guys like Eric starters. Eric Zire, he was the last person to do it. But the crazy thing, no cap is, and I’m gonna give him credit for this, man, because I I don’t I don’t think people understand the level of pressure level that is attached to it. Because I said before, I said, listen, what I’m going to do up here is I’m going to say, listen, when Dylan Gabriel played against Minnesota, I said I wanted a succession of plays to watch him continue to play and develop to see if he got better from week to week. And I said, I’m not going to judge him and I’m not going to say get him up out of here in that in that one week and what we were talking about. He played those games and Dylan Gabriel played six games and we saw with the ups and downs and given an opportunity in the runway, but we got people, you know, shout out to Nick Wright. Nick Wright says is he got one game. If he don’t play good well in this game, he may never play for the Cleveland Browns or another team again. So the reality of the situation is the the the sliding scale was completely different. If Shidor Sanders did not come out and acclimate himself well in this football game, there would have been a movement to move him out and he would not even be playing. He wouldn’t even be here talking about the 49ers. So that level of pressure that comes with that knowing that you got one shot, one opportunity to go out here and prove yourself on three or four days is is what the pressure of the position is about. And I thought he did a great job of saying it is what it is. I make, you know, and at the end of the game, hey, I can’t control who was getting reps and how what reps was going to come, but I’m going to take them reps and make the opportunity the best of the opportunity. I thought he did a a good job of making that the best of his opportunity. When you look at the sidelines, you look at Miles Garrett and go, “Wow, that I ain’t seen that throw in a minute. I I could get behind that.” You watch the energy level of the team. You watch the energy level of of the atmosphere, and it had juice. It had pop to it. The throw he threw to Isaiah Bomb was the best throw we’ve seen from any quarterback from the Cleveland Browns this year, bar none. Well, that’s not saying much, but it’s easily true. Oh, it’s very What have we seen downfield? I don’t think anything. That throw alone based on what it is. The fact that he was able to make that play, get blasted, got hit by two dudes, and put it in on the money. We love it. G, that pass 42 airs. The longest pass via air yards the Browns have had since Joe Flacco in 2023. Heads up. What? Um, did you grade Jamus never had a throw longer than that in the air last year? Uh, according to Danieli who was tweeting that I would have guessed that he had done it. My grade I give him my grade I give him I give him a solid B. I I said it with Mikey McNuggets. I’m going to give him a solid B just for this alone. We talked about three or four things when you talk about progression. What you want to see from somebody? the game against the Ravens, there was some little skittish in the pocket. It was some double pumping. He was moving around. It looked like the speed of the game was fast. You turn that that game on, the speed of the game wasn’t fast. He took one sack for three yards. He got rid of the ball. And I told you in the pregame, the the key to this game is understanding what type of time you want. That’s half of being a quarterback is understanding what fight you in and then delivering what needs to be the counter to what we’re doing. Max Crosby, no sacks for you. But did they buddy? I thought Tommy Reese did a good job with that. And also Shador didn’t make the big mistake when it was 14 to three. He understood I got a defense playing like this with Miles Garrett. We ain’t going to throw the ball in with harm’s way. We going to get the ball out of bounds. And when we needed to make a play, people can say it’s a screen pay and it was, you know, dink and dunk. But there was times uh to be honest, Dylan Gabriel had that same screenplay operation oper uh opportunity against the Jets. He threw it over Corley’s head and that could have been a touchdown because of the way it was blocked up. They came back to it. He got the touchdown. Let your guys make some plays. So, I give him a solid V. And by the way, I’m completely interested in seeing what he’s doing next week. This ain’t the beginning. We ain’t get we ain’t doing victory laps. We want to see the progression. We on We on the 49ers. Yeah. If we’re doing if we’re doing an NFL quarterback scale, then I’d be with Jason. It was a C. But I’m looking at more like a rookie quarterback scale. And on that I give him a B because it’s a weird game because he didn’t make a ton of great plays, but I thought it was so much progress from what we saw the second half of last week. The second half of last week, outside of a couple of throws, there were so many bad decisions he made in terms of throwing the ball, in terms of backing up, and he made very few bad decisions in yesterday’s game. And that’s what I like to see. As you said, he did not run backwards at all. Uh the couple of times he was pressured, he went sideways or went forward, stepped up in the pocket or got out of the pocket sideways. The one sack he took was only a three or four yard sack. It wasn’t anything big. The pick was a really bad throw that’s going to happen. There’s no, you know, what can you say? It was a bad throw. I mean, no doubt about it. But clear when when Miles Garrett says, even though it’s it’s not really true, I don’t think, but when Miles Garrett says not a lot of guys can make that throw. We know that there’s plenty of guys that can make that throw, but nobody on the Browns can make that throw. Seen nobody else on the Browns can make that throw. Minus Flaco and Winston. I don’t know who’s made that throw for us. So years Joe can’t move. And Dylan Dylan doesn’t have the size and the arm strength. No. So Shador at least has enough of Yes. He’s not the most athletic and most mobile. He doesn’t have the flack alarm, but he has enough of both to be able to make a play. Hey, Mike, what percentage of the time did the Raiders send extra Blitzers? I was Usually it takes 24 hours for that number to come out. So, I was talking to Mike upstairs. Like, I heard a couple people say the Raiders were sent in the house. I’m like, did we watch the same game? No, they did. They didn’t. I thought they would. I think the Browns were prepared. I can’t believe heavy pressure. If you would have told me after watching that game that one of the O coordin or one of the coordinators is going to be fired, I would have said, “Oh, the defensive coordinator is gone.” because he he didn’t blitz a rookie rookie quarterback who showed he’s very vulnerable to the blitz. I I I don’t know why they didn’t. Thank god they didn’t storm for us. There were also a lot of times where he made the decision to throw the ball out of bounds. Yeah. Or he made the decision like he wanted to go deep a couple other plays and he was like, “All right, let me take this check down.” And I thought he made a lot of smart decisions and just the way it looked in the second half, which was so bad two two weeks ago to the way it looked this past week. I mean, I know we’re going to get into who should start, but it’s pretty much a no-brainer. I don’t know how I I Does anybody think Dylan Gabriel should start? Well, let’s let’s get into that because I do think there’s going to be an interesting conversation that’s to be had even if we agree because that may not be the outside. Yes, there’s a car horn going on in the garage. So, if you hear honking behind us trying to steal somebody’s car out there, uh we’re going to talk about the quarterback discussion which is brought to us by prize picks. You and I make decisions every day. Kevin Fans is a big decision to make in the near future. And on Prize Picks, being right gets you paid. Don’t miss any of the excitement of this sports season. Download the Prize Picks app and use promo code locked on NFL to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That is code locked on NFL for 50 in lineups after you play your first five prize picks. It’s good to be right. So last week after Shador played against Baltimore, Kevin Stfansky said when Dylan is cleared, he will go back to being our starting quarterback. Then Shadore went out and did what he did yesterday, a touchdown, a pick, 207 yards. And after the game, he was asked about who his starting quarterback will be against San Francisco. And as Jason adequately pointed out in the group chat, he said he wasn’t sure yet, which in a way is actually progress from where he was last time. Was that your car? Either that or it was just a bizarre coincidence that it had been a minute. Yeah. Like because they shut off automatically. I’m like, that’s to answer your question, Mike, and listen, I I was ripping Stfansky on my podcast last night for not naming Shador the starter. But to be fair, the more I thought about it, it’s like he’s got to name Shador the starter, and he should do it today. But he’s got to talk to Dylan Gabriel first, and he probably had a chance yet. So, I shouldn’t have ripped him for that last night. But, uh, so I don’t have a problem with him not saying that, but today he should come out and say Chador’s Star. I can’t imagine he doesn’t. He’s had a chance to talk to Dylan now. Well, he gave him today off, so he may not see them till Wednesday. He could he could be in communication with them, though. And and maybe Dylan has something with concussion. I mean, you’re not going to do it over the phone. You’re going to do it at the facility. But and maybe he’s got a concussion checked because technically he hasn’t been cleared yet from protocols. So, if it doesn’t happen today, I would have think I would imagine it would happen Wednesday, but I don’t see there’s no way you can go back. I don’t I don’t see not right now. You can’t I mean I mean listen and a lot of people guys don’t get listen don’t get uptight about a lot of this stuff, man. This is regular protocol. this is the way things are done. Like like we know that like you’re not going to make the the decision to to you know sit him down after the game yesterday. But don’t be alarmed that he didn’t come out jump on the on the table and say, “Oh, you know what? This is what we going to do.” That’s Yeah. You got to show the respect to the other guy. That’s not the way they just do it or whatever the situation is. And listen, um, you know, hey, if he if he wants to talk to Dylan and let him know, again, it doesn’t have to be one or the other. It don’t have to be a level of disrespect for one guy because the one guy played well. You you still want to give them uh the respect and say, okay, you know, hey, look, man, we going to go in this direction. You stay ready and all those good things. And that’s just the way it works. That’s the way that that football and those locker rooms work. So to me, I I that’s a nothing burger. I would expect and everybody fully expect Shador Sanders will be the starting quarterback. Um and then going from from there. But even with like Shador said like this this is this is not like a thing where oh everybody is we won the Super Bowl. Nah, bro. This is all right. We did we that was one one obstacle, one one task. We got the football win. We approved. Now what do we do this week? What are we doing next week? How do we put some games together? Because be truthful, in the words of Sean King, listen, you don’t you don’t win the starting job in one week. You don’t win the starting job in one throw. You win by putting and stacking together good performances week to week. And I think he’s locked in on that. And I think the thing that also helps is once you become the guy and once you start to see, he says something that I liked. He said, “I have a responsibility on my shoulders of the organization and those dudes in the locker room. So that keeps me honest and what I need to keep putting work in to continue to get this success cuz once you win and you get a taste of that, you want to continue to put that together. So, you know, he’ll he’ll start, but I mean it’s not nothing to be jumping up and down about. He he has to start. I I heard a couple of people last night saying that, you know, did he did he do enough to win the starting job? That’s not what this is. This is about figuring out what the heck they have at quarterback. I think we’ve answered that question at Dylan Gabriel. That doesn’t mean there’s not room for Dylan Gabriel to improve. Uh what it means is if we thought we had the quarterback of the future, and I’m not sure that the organization thinks either of these guys are that, but you got to check and eliminate and move on to the next guy. And I think we’ve seen enough from Dylan Gabriel to know he’s not the guy. And now you’ve got six games left. I think that’s a perfect number. I’m not saying Shadur is going to get all six starts. I’m not saying he should at this point. I think he should earn them one at a time. I desperately want to see what he does against better football teams. And we’re going to get to see that Sunday because San Francisco is a marketkedly better football team than the Raiders. And let’s see what kind of success he can have against San Francisco. And this is something that you build on. And if he if he plays well week to week, I think he remains the starter. If he at any point in time regresses to the second half of Baltimore, then I think maybe it becomes an open conversation. But for right now, I don’t see how you make an argument that Dylan Gabriel has to be the starter against San Francisco. I just I haven’t heard Ludicrous on Kevin Sans and I haven’t heard a compelling argument yet. If it’s out there, I’m waiting to hear it. But I just I don’t I don’t know where it is. What I to me, Shador Sanders showed you enough that you want to see more. Absolutely. Right. That’s it. And if if nothing else, it’s what’s funny is his regular season has kind of mirrored his preeason. He had one game where he looked pretty good in the preseason and one game where he looked pretty bad. And that’s exactly what he’s done so far. What are young quarterbacks if nothing else? Inconsistent. Inconsistent. So, which is he? Is he more the guy that we saw in the bad preseason game and the bad Ravens game or is he more the guy that had the good preseason game and the solid game yesterday? Yeah. Out of the preseason. I think No, but I mean it just shows that it shows that the floor and the ceiling between this guy, there’s a huge difference in between. But but I do I do believe that the difference between preseason games is you can’t underestimate what it is to get those reps to be uh immersed to have a playbook put around you to have understanding what the what the quarterback coach wants to see understand what Tommy Reese wants to do and understanding how you fit into the scheme every single week. You can’t you you can’t imagine that. And that’s why I always say sometimes it could have been unfair, right? Sometimes you get people and we’ll talk to, you know, Joe Thomas later on in the show. He said it like, you know, you you’ll know fairly quickly if a guy is ready to go because you have to get acclimated to the speed of the game. If he would have came out here and he looked just like he did against the Ravens, chances are we’re not even having this conversation. I wanted to clarify that with Joe cuz I think he means the players, not the not us on the outside. Yeah. Oh, he absolutely meant the players. Yeah, he was talking about the players. I don’t I don’t think he means us cuz you don’t know. You don’t know anybody saying after one and a half games that Shador Sanders is definitely not or is definitely the answer is being foolish. Well, you can see that there’s certain things there’s certain trait the only thing we can look at is the traits on the tape, right? Only thing you can do is look at the traits and some of the things that he puts out there and say, “Okay, where can you get better and where can you prove here or there?” Now, to do that and cuz we always talk about the fifth round pick thing, right? And we talked about it. He like, “Well, what do you expect? He’s a fifth round pick. he’s not going to be getting first team reps. It also has to work in the opposite way. If you are a fifth round pick and you are not getting reps, it is impressive to see that you can go and correct your mistakes on on the fly that quickly between the four days, three days and say it’s hard to stop running backwards. Yes, you’re right. I’m just absolutely and he deserves credit for that. We can’t make sweeping judgments about him, good or bad, based on 35 pass. I don’t No, I don’t I don’t think it’s hold your powder one way or the other. We don’t know. I don’t think anybody I don’t think Oh, a lot of people are doing that. Well, all I could Well, at their own peril. All I could do All I could do is speak all I could do is speak for myself, right? Like look look I mean what I said it is valid. It still rides. It still goes. What happens on this football field will either keep you on the football field or be the reason you’re not playing. Yes. And so this is just round one. this, you know, a lot of people, this is round one. We just getting into the fight. Let’s see how you handle it. Round two and see what you gonna do with that. So, for me, um, there’s a lot of encouraging things, but even if you ask Shador Sanders or if you ask Prime right now, you think they doing jumping jacks? No. No. They’re like, “Yo, let’s get Yeah, let’s face it. This is the best of Shador Sanders. That’s not good enough. We’re ready to go.” So, he knows that. The question that we have to have answered by January is what are we doing at quarterback? Well, eventually they have to take the guard rails down and they have to let them play quarterback and that’s what the next six weeks are for. And because yesterday was a lot of it it was a lot of this and a lot of this, a lot of this win the game with one or two of those that we and granted we haven’t seen those. So that was a pleasant surprise to see but it was still a lot of this and at some point you have to play quarterback. Yeah. And I think that’s what’s going to happen even with Dylan Gabriel. We saw that each week more and more of aggressed Dill, but what I’m saying is they gave him more every week and he couldn’t handle it. Dylan’s best game was Minnesota. He looked decent early and then I just thought, “Wow, he’s missing some of the throws that he was hitting early on.” And that could be the fact that a quarterback can feel overwhelmed with what you’re throwing at him because if you got a base of 25 plays, you can get your mind around those 25 plays, but then if you start expanding it to 50. Last night during the uh during the Sunday night telecast, I thought it was funny. They talked a lot about the 25word play calls from the Rams and how convoluted that is and how crazy that is for a quarterback to get their mind around. It is a lot. And it’s one thing if there’s only 15 or 20 of them, but what happens when there gets to be 50 and then 75? And so that’s why a lot of times young quarterbacks will take a step back because the the team is taking some of the guardrails off and the quarterback is telling you, “You’re putting me in water that’s too deep for me to swim in.” Okay. Then he sinks. When I’m curious to see what happens as they give him more of the offense cuz you’re right, we’ve got to see a lot more of Shinur Sanders. And I don’t just mean the short passes. Let’s see how he handles it when they do take. How does he deal with a 10-point yesterday? Yesterday wasn’t the time for that either. Like they handled yesterday exactly as they should have. It helped that they didn’t have to put him into dangerous positions that he could take care of the football and he showed that he can take care of the football. I did like that he threw it out of bounds a couple of times. I thought the one screen pass, the one when uh the former Brown got flagged, I thought it was a dumb flag. I thought that was a dangerous pass he got away with. Um that was Adams. Jamal Jamal Adams slammed it. That shouldn’t have been a flag. That shouldn’t have been a flag. Yeah, I didn’t love that call either. But the the but the pass was like, “All right.” And the one down the field I thought if 22 got his head around and saw where the ball was, that could have been picked the one into the corner of the end zone. But thman and Tilman stopped on the route. Yeah, that one. And 22 Tman was doing there. I don’t either. Tilman looked terrible. So, there’s certain things that they can go back and look at and and clean up, but for the most part, yeah, I thought he did. He executed what they gave him. And what else can you ask? Do we like the white helmets, by the way? Of course, I did. I thought they looked like Miami right there, especially in that shot. University of Miami. Of course. Uh, here’s another thing, too. They haven’t lost in those. I think the the big thing is you gotta what you can’t get lost in this is the Cleveland Browns are playing a ton of rookies. I mean their starting quarterbacks are rookies. Their best team their best offensive players are rookies. Fenon and and Juck Samson made a play. Sweetinger the best made two plays. Yeah. Listen, he they they got a young core. And the thing that’s important to your young core is being I don’t care if it’s the Raiders or St. Ignatius or St. Eds. I’m trying to win these football games. They on they on the schedule. If you can find a way to win the game, that pays dividends to your young players building. It builds like, okay, all right, we got something. And if you can do that, building with a young quarterback and young guys around, then you can start to try to develop some sort of foundation. And the fact that Tommy Reese, I believe this is his first job, first game he won as play caller. Is that correct? Correct. So Tommy Reese is going to evolve, right? Like he’ll evolve as a play caller and he’ll figure out what it is. You know, it’s the his first game playing with with Shidor Sanders and he’ll figure out some things and he’ll get better. So, you know, it’s just it’s a work in progress for a lot of them. It was perfect. Again, no, but there were a lot of encouraging things that I think if you’re a Browns fan, you can you can get excited about and and wrap your head around and get ready for next. I’ll say something that’ll probably be controversial because it worked. Um, but I the one thing I didn’t love I want to see Shadur in goal line situations and I know that the the Wildcat worked with Judkins the two times they ran it and they scored touchdowns. So, it’s really hard to argue against it, but I I also that the game is played between the 20s and then it’s played on the other ends when you’re in plus territory and minus territory. And I think red zone experience is extremely important for young quarterbacks. And I didn’t love that he wasn’t on the field when they scored their first two touchdowns. As hard as this team has been at scoring touchdowns, you’re going to complain about how they’re scoring. That’s why Herman Edwards says what? You play in the game. I get it. But this I said this was the perfect storm. You had a horrible offense. You had a horrible defense. I want to see a quarterback operate in a red zone. They’re having great obsessed with this. Hey, hey, it’s worked every time I think. I can’t remember a time that it got stopped. It’s a lot of shad fans and we was in the post game and I told him like this. Hey, listen. I get what you’re saying. You will see maybe your parlay is in danger. But listen, if we got if we can punch this in on this goal line, I’ll live to fight another day with getting Shador Sanders some red zone touches. I can turn around and hand it off to him another day. Mike, was it 34 and a2? 36 and a2. 36 and a2. Wow. So that not kicking the field goal at the end was a bad beat for a lot of guys. What was the final score? 24-10. Yeah. Yeah. Also went over. So the field goal would have put it over. Yeah. And I’m like, man, there’s going to be a lot of gamblers that took the over on this thing and are saying, why in the world would you not kick that field goal? I don’t bet. Why in the world would you take the over? Why would you pick some better teams on the field? You got to think, you got to think about this. Tommy Reese and Tommy Reese on that in that playbook. He is not thinking about overs, unders. He is this my third game. I’m auditioning. Well, that’s fancy decision whether punt. Did you see Stfansky’s post game where he’s in the locker room cursing and all that stuff? I miss so awkward. Even in his postgame rahrh speeches, it was very awkward. He was fired up. We we he fired up. He he he during this during the game we said did Kevin curse twice? No, but in the in the locker room when he’s giving the speech, he’s cursing. Well, he’s cursed in I know, but it was just really awkward. It just comes off different when you hear guys like Dan Campbell and McVey and they sit with their chest. It’s not a not even some guys that are less comfortable. Jason mentioned this real quick last point then we want to get on cuz we got to talk about Judy’s fumble and some other things in this game. Have no idea. Stansky is speaking at 1:30 today. What’s that? Stfansky is 130. He will assuredly be asked about his starting quarterback for next week. Do you think that when we come in tomorrow and do our UCSS show, we will be talking about a decision or whether or not Stfansky is delaying making that call till Wednesday? I think he’s probably delaying because as Jason said, he’s going to want to talk to him in person. Well, maybe. I mean, maybe Dylan’s in the building today. I don’t know. I just know that. But if he’s it’s a concussion, so that wouldn’t be coming into rehab for No, it’s not a rehab, but it could be a ch I have no idea. I need to test him. He was on the field Friday, right? Wasn’t he on the practice Friday? Yeah, I think we’ll have a discussion. So, I have no idea. I have no idea what protocol is. So, you think he’s going to announce the quarterback change today, Chase? I don’t know cuz I don’t know if he’s going to see Dylan today, right? But if he sees him today, you think he’ll announce it or is he going to like play the games? No, he’s not. In in honesty, like there’s no there’s no advantage. In fact, you could say that there’s a disadvantage if you announce it earlier than later. I don’t buy that. I mean, yeah, who you’re who you’re preparing for. I don’t know that they they’re vastly different quarterbacks. This a this is non-story. Do like to know who they’re who they’re going to play. Whatever. If you want to announce it on Thursday, we already know what it’s going to be. Like, it is what it is. Like, go ahead. Now, when you ever want to, Kev, just going to be non uh it’s very antilimactic. So, yeah, I think it is too. I was I I initially I was surprised that he didn’t come out and say I think the question would have been did did he play well enough to earn the job next week to to you know to to stay on the field and I think the question was who are you going to start? Um now you’re like he would have given a straight answer. No, but at least now you’re asking him a question now on specifically what level of play he thought he got out of the quarterback and was that high enough for him to continue starting. Yeah. So, but it it doesn’t matter. We didn’t get the answer. I do think we’ll know by tomorrow. I think we’ll know by today. We’re going to talk a little more Shadora in a sec. We got to get to some other things from yesterday’s win over the Raiders. Before we do that, a quick reminder that the Homebuilders Association is a proud sponsor of UCSS. Uh Mike, two quickies before we uh move on to the next topic. We should mention that Bernie Kosar is getting out of the hospital today. Yes. Which is amazing. Also, Baker Mayfield has a sprained left shoulder. Yeah. Um if I was watching that game, you know what? The guy, he did it exactly the same way he did it the last time. Throwing a block. I tried to pick up an extra two yards for a first down. And when he did it, I I know that Mike Trico started to say something and then the conversation kind of went somewhere else. But he didn’t you didn’t know it was hurt until the next throw and when he threw the next ball, he immediately grabbed his left shoulder. I apologize for bringing up Baker, but I have jinxed Baker. There’s no doubt about it. Since I traded him a month ago, he’s been a disaster and now their team’s falling apart. Now he’s hurt. It’s a big mess. Mike, go ahead. All right, we’re gonna Did you get that text I just sent you? Yeah, we’ll have it up. Thank you. Jerry Judy yesterday had a memorable game in a weird way. He gave that weird press conference midweek. Didn’t want to talk. He got targeted three times, had one reception, but I want to draw your eyes to the last thing you see on that graphic, the one fumble. I would recommend anyone to go back to our watch party yesterday and go back to the moment Judy fumbled. Our reactions are quite funny. Jason, you texted the group that you thought he got hurt on the play watching it live. The way that would have made sense the way he hopped. What was Jerry Judy thinking? The way he hopped, I thought he like dropped the ball like, you know what I mean? Like, oh wow, what just happened? Or no, he I I He’s trying to be cute. I have no idea what would possess him to try that hop step in the middle of a r like you’re not at the goal line. Like you’re you got a lot of dudes behind you. How that’s it’s it’s inexcusable. Uh he’s had a miserable year with a few exceptions. He had the hard third down run last week on the short swing pass against the Ravens where he converted the first down. Short of that, man, it’s been a miserable season for him. And yesterday was, I think, his worst play of the year. All the drops he’s had, that was worse. Yeah. See, this is this is why you say whatever I give Sanders and I said I would give him a B. If during that that situation, we were sitting here during the the um uh the live stream and we was sitting here. I’m saying that play right there puts you in a position where they at the time were up 14-3 he had if you look at the play the the defensive back that’s running off downfield he his back is turned and if Jerry Judy just runs just run he has 10 more yards out of bounds and you’re inside the red zone with an opportunity to put more points on the board maybe at least three or seven and that game’s 21-3 this I don’t understand what he was doing. I don’t know if he was trying to give somebody a N1 mixtape dead leg like he was hot sauce. And I’m like, dude, that’s just that just goes to show you sometimes people don’t be locked in, man. And that that that that’s something that your coach is going to rewind and say that’s not a veteran play. That is a boneheaded play. That is a play that means, are you checked in? Are you are are you locked into what you’re doing in your job? Because that this is crazy. He wouldn’t even have done that in Alabama. You know why? Cuz Nick Saven would have been you, you know what? Going crazy about something like that. That’d be before after he recorded his AFLAC commercials and complained about NIL. Um that would be after and before like he’s and Nick Sabin gets that off. Uh but but yeah, look look look I I mean it didn’t cost him this game, but those are the things that that people do that cost you. I I have defended Jerry Judy most of this year while I really have because and and I I got to tell you the last week’s been flat out embarrassing. I thought he play I thought the last two weeks he was heading in the right direction because you know he had a good game two weeks ago. Last week he had that big play to help Sanders get that first down on that last drive. Was a great play breaking three tackles. But between his embarrassing press conference this week, which I was willing to kind of forget, and then the way he played, like, dude, what are you doing? You’re trying to win a game. You got a rookie quarterback who’s got all the pressure in the world on him, and he needs you. You’re the best, most proven player on this team in terms of offense. And you’ve got to do something to help him. You got to open. You have two choices there. take on the blockers, try to run them over, or go out of bounds. Don’t dance around like a fool. I mean, that was just so stupid and inexcusable. Yeah, it’s crazy. They paid this guy all this money and he’s been lousy this year. It’s embarrassing that there is no excuse for it. Did he speak after the game? I not that I saw, but but that doesn’t mean he didn’t because it’s so I I I got it. I didn’t see anything. I thought for sure that if he’d said something about that I would have seen it. I haven’t. It took forever for them to open the locker room yesterday. I don’t know why. Yeah. Like normally that’s after a loss. It takes forever. By the time we got in there, guys were already dressed. Yeah. So, um I didn’t get it. He may have he easily could have gotten dressed and got out of there before we got in. I do think that it goes to culture. You mentioned Nick Sabin. Yeah. Um Oh, G did. Someone said Yeah. Yeah, you did. You mentioned Nick Sabin. You mentioned his AFLAC commercial. Yeah. Um, I think there are places where that’s unspoken, permissible. Guys that do that believe they can get away with that. And I I I’ve mentioned Mike Vrabel a lot on this show this year because I think what’s going on in Cleveland in New England is sort of the antithesis of what’s happened here with the culture and how one guy can make a difference. He can come in there and change everything from expectations to relationships to performance on the field. I maybe you’ve seen this play by now. If you were watching the game, you certainly saw it yesterday. Dallas fell down to Philadelphia 21 to nothing. And in that game, you were watching and and there was a stat before that game that rocked me. Can you hold that one second, Mike? Can you hold that one second? I’m sorry. I know I asked you for it in this topic. I when I I’ll call for it when I’m when I’m ready for it. Dallas was down 21 nothing. The the Cowboys had won and I I can’t believe this. Dak has won 18 consecutive NFC East games in Dallas. Wow. I didn’t realize. I didn’t know that. 19 now. And I I remember when I was watching it, I go, “Well, that streak is over.” Yeah, you’re right. And so is the Cowboys season. And then a not so funny thing if you’re Philadelphia happened. Dallas decided, we’re going to do a gut check. And there was a moment where they said, we need all 53, all 53, regardless of who you are. And what they did was really nothing short of remarkable. They erased a 21- nothing early deficit to win the game late on a field goal. A big play in that game was this play. It’s made by a guy the name of Elijah Clark. He’s a rookie from Syracuse. He gets absolutely knocked to the ground three times. But you know what he doesn’t do? He doesn’t give up and he’s a heat-seeking missile to the ball. He puts a hit on the Eagles ball carrier and forces a fumble and the Cowboys take over on the 5yd line. Now, they did not score on that possession, but what they did do was force the Eagles to punt and the Cowboys got the ball in good field position and took over and ended up winning the game. I I only show that play because this is a special teams guy fighting for his NFL life and he’s out there knocked down three times and normally that would be the kind of tape that would get the entire room in tape study later in the week on their feet. Mhm. Because the guy got blown up so badly. Instead, he turned it into probably the highlight of his young career. Not probably, definitely. But that’s the kind of effort that you need from all 53. Whether you’re the star wide receiver or whether you’re the special teams junkie who’s a gunner and you got your butt put in the dirt three times on one play, but you never gave up. And we need that kind of culture in Cleveland. We need everybody making those kinds of plays and also the players holding one another accountable. I don’t know what kind of internal justice was dispensed on that play. Maybe it was the reason why they didn’t open that locker room. Maybe. Right. Or I don’t know. I I I don’t know that. And that’s a supposition for sure. But I would hope that a guy like Miles Garrett would come up to him, put his arm around him and say, “Look, Jar, you got talent. We don’t need that kind of effort on the field. We don’t. I don’t know that that happened. I hope it happened. A coach could have done it. A fellow receiver could have done it. Shadur Sanders could have done it. Anybody could have done it. I hope that’s what happens because that’s how you change a culture from losing to winning. You need more plays like the Cowboys, the one made by Clark on that crazy kick uh punt return and less plays like the hot dog Jerry Judy. We don’t even know what the hell he was doing. I can’t You know what? You know what? You know what would tell me if the culture or whatever the case in in and the locker room vibe is changing? if Jerry Judy comes out this week and say, “Hey, listen, man. Last week I was off.” You know what I’m saying? My energy level was bad when I was answering questions and that kind of spilled over into the game. So, I understand, you know, I can’t I can’t have that type of energy and I can’t make them plays like I made. I got to help our young guys out and be a contributor. So, you know what I’m saying? I I told my teammates I pulled them aside and said, “Yo, I’m going to be better. I’m going to do better and and and we going to put it behind us.” If he said that, I would I would feel like, okay, he understand, hey, I might want to get in on something. I I want to I might want to, you know what I’m saying, address the way I’m I’m thinking about it. And like you said, Jerry Judy got talent, but you know, when you playing rookies and you trying to figure something out and you got three wins, it can get frustrating, but you have to ask yourself, if I’m the one contributing to these L’s or I’m going to be one of the people that’s helping us get it. Cuz I’m going to tell you who is helping. Miles Garrett helping Mason Graham helping. Uh uh Malik Collins is helping. Isaiah Maguire helping. Devin Bush like so you still got some folks that’s that’s putting out and and and I know this we early in the show but we we going to get to it later. This this defensive this defensive game was a masterpiece. It was a masterpiece of defense. And if if you’re a defensive player or a fan of defense, this was high the highest level that we’ve seen I’ve seen in a very long time. Well, let’s get to that defense then, guys. We’ll start with uh Miles Garrett. Our Miles discussion brought to you by Game Time. These are Miles Garrett’s last four games played and his statistics over that four game stretch. In those four games, it’s a fiveweek span because there’s a by-week in there, but in those four games, he has 19 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, an NFL record in a four game stretch, 17 quarterback hits, and three force fumbles. That would be a career season for most pass rushers. This is a four-week for four game, excuse me, stretch for one Miles Garrett. He set the record. We were talking about it on the watch game uh yesterday. He might just be the best player in football and it may not be that close. That’s how good Miles Garrett is playing right now. Easy money. He’s the best. I don’t know how you compare Miles Garrett to a quarterback. I I just I think it’s a silly conversation to have. No, it’s a great conversation to have. Well, let me ask you this way. Okay. Because I initially I said, “Okay, if you’re going to give me one or the other right now, believe it or not, I’d take a 39y old quarterback. I think Matthew Stafford is the MVP. He’s running away with it.” Yeah. But I’ll say this. This is how I can get around to that. Yeah. There is nobody better at their position right now than Miles Garrett isn’t his. No, there’s no That’s true. That’s true. Of course. Yeah. Okay. So, I I because I I’m with you the best in the NFL. I think Miles Garrett is probably the best football player. I I think he’s probably best Absolutely. But in the end, it’s it’s impossible to compare a quarterback and a like defensive lineman. We’re judging the quarterback on way more things than you’re judging a pass. impacts the game more. But the only person that impacts the game more than the quarterback in my view and the salary bases and Miles Garrett is definitively better at that than Right. But then then it would go to does he affect wins and losses? Well, that’s why I that’s why I go with Stafford ultimately. That’s why. But nobody Yeah. I don’t think there’s a player in the league better at their position than Miles. can’t clearly argue that anybody’s playing better at their job than Miles Garrett is right now. You can’t clearly argue that. I think that’s an easy one. This stretch, especially this stretch of four weeks is right there with, you know, Josh Gordon’s four-week stretch from 2012 or 20. So, where is he at now? 17. Can he get to 30? That’s the question. Like, it’s insane to ask. If he stays at this pace, he will get to 30. He’s on pace for the last four weeks. 26. Is he on pace? I think for 26, but the last four weeks he’s on pace for more than 30 based on It’s absurd. That’s like the guy four home runs in two games. It’s absurd to I think it I think you could argue it’s the greatest stretch. Again, it’s hard to compare other positions, but it’s arguably the greatest stretch of football by a player in a four-week stretch. Like it Yeah, you’re hard to beat it. It’s just a It’s absurd. Definitely by a defensive player. Think about this guy. Let me give you a stat. There’s 200 besides Miles Garrett, there are 235 players in the NFL that have at least a half a sack. 235 players. Only five of those 235 are even within half of his total. That’s insane. So 200 There are 230 players that are more than half. He’s just head and shoulders better than everyone else at his nuts. He’s five sacks ahead of the next guy. Five. But the qu So really I think the question was the MVP real quick Jay on that. Yeah. He has 13 sacks in his last four games, right? The 49ers who do play tonight have 12 sacks as a team in 11 games this year. Ryan Burns is second in the NFL with 13 sacks. So if if Miles Garrett’s stats only counted only the last four games, he’d still be tied for first in the league. That’s insane. He he he’s the he’s the best I’ve seen. I mean, I’m be trying to listen and I don’t seen all of them. I’m telling you like like I’m I’m just I’m just saying he the best I seen. Like it’s not even just the sacks he’s getting. It’s the almost sacks. It’s the it’s the sacks where he guys are just Gino Smith three or four times say, “Oh, hell no. I ain’t doing this.” That the fact that he he does it in every way possible and and the fact that he just ends the like he was like, “You know what? Yeah, I’m gonna I’m gonna get this strip sack and end the game and go sit down and drink Kool-Aid. Like Miles Garrett gives you a opportunity to win games with rookie quarterbacks. The Browns have started how many rookies this year? Two. Like they’re going to probably end up finishing a season with a rookie quarterback. This is the reason you keep Miles Garrett on your team because he legitimately gives you an opportunity to evaluate other people. And he’s just like, watch the faces of other coaches. watch Pete Carol and look at him and say, “Listen, I got Max Crosby, but he’s not even on the same playing field as Miles Garrett. I can’t even I can’t run what I want to run.” Gino Smith is mad at everybody and he’s like, “I just can’t I can’t run my stuff right now cuz this guy and he’s such a havoc creator that he’s just making things so much easier for the other guys. And because there’s more talent around him than he’s ever had, those guys are now playing well. Mason Graham, I thought, played his best game yesterday. Lights out. He was great. He was all lit up. Ashton Genty. He was Mason Graham. Mason Graham’s really coming into his own plus football game. A+ A+. And I This the Mason This the guy who said never draft Mason Graham. Mason Graham yesterday showed nastiness. He He collapsed the pockets time after time. He ran. He was down the line of scrimmage. He was He was moving. He was disruptive. Mason Graham played out of his mind and so did Malik Collins. Malik Collins played. He’s had a magnificent season. Out of his mind. Two and a half. The Brown should resign him. Good gracious. He played well. He made made himself some money, right? Isaiah Isaiah Magguire said, “Oh, you going to give Alex Wright some money? Where my bag at?” I like that energy. He had sacks. I mean, listen, Tyson Campbell had dang near 10 tackles. You know, it’s funny. He’s a corner. As we talked about, uh, Tyson Campbell got burnt on that first play. He did. And Gino didn’t take advantage of it. And then he just played locked down the rest of the game. Meanwhile, Greg Newsome, I think, got benched in Jacksonville. He did get benched yesterday. Did he really? Yeah. Hey, Tyson Campbell, man. This was a good trade. Denzel Ward was covering a tight end all over. Unbelievable. I mean, to Bowers, like to be able to handle arguably the best tight end in the NFL like that, I mean, he did such a good job. I I assumed 10 sacks was the franchise record. It’s 11. I just looked it up. What is the NFL record? Cuz they kept in a game. 14 or something. Somebody got 14. That had to be like old school. Yeah. 50 recent in 23 the Seahawks had 11 in a game in the Browns 11 had 11 and that was their record. They kept saying that during the telecast and I thought, damn, they’re not saying that’s a National Football League record. I would think that that would be the most in a game. Most sacks in a game by a team. Mike Mike could do that off camera. I want to do it on camera. I know. We’re so professional here on camera. I got to get my AI game up. You guys on your phone every 8 seconds, but we’re so professional we can’t uh I have hardly been on my phone. 1952 had 14 sacks. That is the team. But the sacks weren’t even official stats. Jones is somewhere saying I had 96 sacks. The Giants 2007 had 12 sacks. So, the Cowboys in 85 had 12. The Bears in 84 had 12. And those are the only moderate. There’s been a lot of 12. That’s crazy. That really is crazy. And you know, the you know, that’s that’s why I always say, man, look, thank you for pointing that out, Jason. I could do that off screen. Yeah. Yeah. The the the way they played, they obviously got a boost. The energy level was different. Um, and I’m I’m just waiting to see how that translates coming up this week because here’s the thing we talked about, we laughed and joked about how many, you know, wins they can get if they continue to play like that. Uh, yeah, like Yeah, if that defense does that, you’re not playing the Raiders again outside of the Titans. No, I know. That’s that’s the thing. We got we got to slow the roll a little bit. I mean, but they but let’s be honest, they did they did that to the Packers, right? Yeah. And they’ve looked good. The the Dolphins have been putting it on people lately. The Dolphins been throwing up ball kind of six and a half point GM and took off like what’s this? I know GM GM has a lot to do with that are a 6 and 12 point dog this Sunday at home. The Browns 6 and a half half point dog. The Niners are still ded pretty bad, aren’t they? Seven and four. They got some injuries on defense. They get parties back. Is this is this a bigger underdog game than when they was playing with PJ Walker in 23 and came up with that win? I would think so. I would think they were a bigger dog back then. Yeah, the Niners were better then. Yeah, they were way better. Yeah, they it was uh Mike, what was the line on that game? Was it? Well, it was it was three and a half and then we found out that Shawn wasn’t playing and I went to find out what the line closed probably went to like 10. I figured I figured Mike knew from memory. Yeah, that I mean that was a miraculous game and the defense in that game played stupid. They wanted they played ridiculous. If the defense plays like that now they closed at nine and a half. Yeah. Wow. I mean this it just open it could climb. Yeah, it could move. It takes a lot to move. The Ners also play tonight. That’s true. From Yeah. So they catch a break second straight week they get a team with a short work week. But also that line could change a lot depending on how Yeah. But it’s not going to go the Niners are tonight. So yeah. I mean I don’t think it will either. Yeah, I don’t think it will either. They might go one maybe. Unless the Niners have a key injury, it probably wouldn’t change one. I don’t know who’s out. Who’s out for them? But hell, you beat the Niners, then you get the Titans. Yeah, then you’re at five. Tell you one sec. Well, they only have 12 sacks on the season, so obviously they get no pass rush. But the Browns, I will say this, Browns have to listen, I’ll give the credit offensive line and the scheme, they were better in pass protection and it was surprisingly better. However, if they don’t run the ball better, it’s a different story. They have to run that out. They have to run the ball better. And Miles Garris Garrett with his toughest test of the year because he faces Trent Williams this week, right? So, we’ll see. It’s always a matchup. Uh, these are the defensive players currently on IR for the San Francisco 49ers. Some names big, some names small. I’m going to read them all. Trey Tomlinson, Taran Jackson, Jacob Robinson, Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, Yetur Gross, Matoss, Muel Williams, their first round pick this year. Tatum Bethun, Robert Beal Jr. There’s a lot of guys that is at least three big three or four big names. You said injured reserve like Yeah, they will not be back. Have zero chance of playing next year. Oh yeah, that’s that’s tough as hell. We need We need to know. Okay. You know what was scary yesterday? They showed the shot from behind the quarterback when Miles J Miles Garrett lined up over center and I I honestly remember thinking, I don’t know that there’s anything I’ve ever seen in a football game that would make me more terrified than that. He just threw the ball out. Listen, uh, he uh, uh, he just threw the ball out of bounds. I wouldn’t want that play to be over. Just somebody commit a penalty. Let’s just change this up. I can’t have that man right there. Miles Garrett playing middle linebacker and then he then he just he’s a defensive end, right? He then just runs right down the face mask over the center and collapses the pocket. Gino Smith was like, “Oh, hell no.” Like, I’m going to throw this out of that time. He had he was kicked out wide and he had lateral pursuit so quick that he tackled the line the running back before he got to the line of scrimmage. I think that was his first half loss yesterday. It’s just like that’s been one of the like the next level of his game. I mean he’s been so much better. He’s been more impactful against the rung than he had ever been in the past. You know what I think he’s doing? I think he’s reached this level of greatness where he’s actually listening to his critics. He waines as the season goes on. He’s not he he could be better in run support. And I think every criticism that people have launched at Miles Garrett, he’s just deflected one after another this year and he’s put himself in a class all by himself. He’s always had every year like there’s a nagging injury that affected his play later in the season. For now, knock on wood, whatever. I don’t know if there’s any wood. Uh that’s not happening. This is this is LeBron Jamesesque 18 playoff run where you just playing with a bunch of dudes and Larry Nance and Rodney Hood and then series after series it was the Pac Pacers, it’s the Raptors, he he just put everybody on his back and he’s like, “Bro, LeBron is getting like 40, 12, and 13 a day.” It’s It’s like the playoff run without the playoff run, right? It is. Right. Like it is like you know no playoff run in sight but this is a historical run. It is just incredible. Yeah. The only thing that I can think of in modern Browns history is the Josh Gordon stretch. Yeah. Do you want to see also Bo? You want to see the stats from that stretch? I was absurd. You had over00 in four games. We’ll pull up the stats. We actually made a graphic. Is it Is it an NFL record? Most most yards receiving NFL. It was a record I think at it. I think it was a twoame receiving record. Well, he had 500 yards in two games. Yeah, close to it. Go ahead, Mike. Steve, whatever. Yep, there we go. He’s seven targets. So, he averaged nine catches per game. 103 about 180 something yards, man. What could have been? And they went 0 and4. Hey, let me let me tell you something. According to Google, that is the most receiving yards in a four game stretch. I would imagine. Let me tell you something. That’s crazy. The Browns won’t have a receiver with those yards this year. Josh, they may not have a receiver finish with those yards this year. That’s what I’m saying. He had Listen, this dude had Hall of Fame skill set. This dude Josh Gordon used to catch the ball on slants and walk away from the entire team and wouldn’t look like he was running hard. You weren’t covering the Browns at that time, were you? Uhuh. So, in those years, Dustin and I were at Browns training camp every day. and we had seen and that was kind of early of our show but of all the years I cover I was in Browns training camp every day for like I don’t know eight years whatever it was and every almost until Beckham and and and Landry all that time like every receiver that came in the Browns camp be like this whatever this guy’s a nothing he’s a nothing and then Josh Gordon just if you just watched him in practice you were like holy moly what is happening here was This guy was such I mean obviously the whole drugs and everything and but but a shame. Uh can we wrap up the Garrett? Yeah. Know effortlessly. Jay um we talked last week about this. I don’t see that there’s a path for Miles to be the MVP. I don’t think so because the team has Are we all in agreement there that he can’t win the MVP? No, he’s not. He wouldn’t even if they had a winning record, he probably wouldn’t win the MVP. I think if they were if they I I I disagree with that. I mean, if he’s if they had a winning record because he’s having a record shattering year. If he has 30 sacks and they go to the playoffs, he’s got a case. Yeah. But who’s been the only NFL MVP that’s a defensive for a season? I don’t know there’s ever been one Lawrence Taylor. No, there’s I don’t think there’s ever Oh, there has been. I don’t think so. Has there ever been? I know there’s been defensive MVPs of Super Bowls. Nah, just for the season. I think there has been. I don’t remember for sure. It’s not gonna happen. Taylor in 86. Yeah. Allan Paige in 71. Yeah. Okay. He won 8. Let me say this. He’s of that. You know how you know how y’all writers do? Y’all write y’all writers look at me. I’m not a writer. No. Y’all writer writers be y’all they get emotional, right? And when one person starts saying something, they’ll float it out and say, “You know what? I I thought I would never vote for a defensive MVP, especially on a losing team.” But let me tell you something. If Miles Garrick gets 30 sack, you gota think about it there. We we we we was on here chanting one more sack. Yeah. This dude is giving you sacks at will. If he gets to 30 sacks, all he needs two a game for the rest of the season. All bets are off, bro. All 30. He’s not winning the MVP. 30. Yeah. No, I don’t think he is. He won’t get a single vote. 30. He may get a vote. He’s just not going to win it. Hey, listen. If the Browns go nine and eight and get in the playoffs and he finishes with 30 sacks. So you saying then I would say maybe but you and Tyus need to go to dinner and talk this out because you saying I like to do that because I love reactions. I love Now hold on. And I love when I say nine and eight Jason eyes roll back into his head. He was officially dead. More likely Miles Gar has 32 sacks or the Browns 32. Hold on. Whoa. Whoa. You didn’t get 32 sacks for Miles Gar or the Browns win nine games. was more likely 32 100%. There you go. Miles Garrett MVP. There it is. That’s how you line that up. That’s how you connect the dots. That’s how you connect the dots. Do you know something else is true? If you match all six numbers on the Powerball, you are a billionaire. And then, by the way, if I become a billionaire, I will retire every win and one of you. You will never have to work again. And that’s a promise. Hold me to it. What if some of us want to work? Listen, you It’s a stipulation. No, I’ll take you up on it. You take me up on it. going in 6 months. You’d be like, “What do I do now? I’ll figure it out.” Oh, Jason Lord, he ain’t so he got he got a lot of vacation time. Got one last topic, guys. We got to hit on before we bring Joe Thomas into the fold. We’ve already spent a ton of time on Shador, so he is excluded from this particular segment. We’ll talk about story again with Joe Thomas in a second, but let’s start with Quinshan Judkins who scored two more touchdowns from the Wild Dog formation. Jason, what you think of Quinshan and the Browns? I don’t even know what the right word to use is, but the Browns uh choice to keep going back to the Wild Dog in the end zone. And the Are you calling it that or have they actually called me officially? I want to call it wild cat because it’s a wild dog. I mean, I have no issue with the wild I don’t care what you call it. It’s working. I call it successful and I mean they’re four and0 on it in the NFL think so keep running it until they stop it and until they stop it keep running it. So I think that’s our new look at the goal line. I mean why not? I mean yeah if it’s if it’s not broke don’t break it. So I I I mean if you look at the numbers you say it’s not a very good game. But if you actually watch him it’s the case that we’ve made all year that he’s playing significantly better than what his numbers show. Uh, I still want to see him get better in pass blocking because I think sometimes he comes off the field when you’d like him on the field for deception reasons. If nothing else, even if you’re not going to go to him, uh, you at least want him out there as a threat. But I just don’t think they trust him right now with some of the pass protections. But that’s like the only thing that you can nitpick about his game right now. I I think he’s having a ter I don’t care what the rushing numbers are at the end of the season. And I think he’s had a great year and I hope they keep going to the wild cat, wild dog, wildly successful formation. Look, man, I ain’t got no problem. Listen, I always tell sometimes you get caught up in when when you want a certain person to play or you want a quarterback or you invested in the quarterback, sometimes you be like, I want the numbers to look a certain way. I want it to feel a certain way. I want it to be I want to be I want to get that 300 so you everybody can say that this supposed to be the quarterback. Man, listen. Hey, you’re the leader of that group. though. Uh, listen, I wouldn’t say that I’m leader. I’m the leader. 5,000 yards. I’m the leader of the wild dog. I told you put the w I coined the phrase if Quinn Sean Juckus is your best offensive player, you hand him the ball and get me that touchdown because at the end of the day, that’s what you need. The win, the dub is what you need. And the more that he is effective and the more you hand him the ball, it eases some of the other stuff. Now you can throw the ball downfield. It gives you better looks. Do you want to be in would you like nine guys sitting back in coverage telling you and confusing you or would you like you to you to be able to throw to manto man coverage and play action because push junkins and guys are at the line of scrimmage. I’m going to take I’m going to take the play action easier reads. Right. So for me that’s a that’s a nothing burger actually to be truthful. They might want to continue. Wait till we get home. So against the 49ers and if it’s an opportunity to win that game, everybody will be cheering for the Wild, especially if it’s scoring. Yeah, it’s four I think it’s 4-0. I think it’s worked all four times they’ve run it. I think there’s a wrinkle we haven’t seen. Oh, it’s coming. I I think there’s going to be a time where he takes two steps towards the line and tries a pass. I I would imagine that they’ve worked something like that in um at some point teams are I I I think you’re not catching anybody off guard with it anymore. The Raiders defended it so poorly. They were surprised that he was running. I bull when they ran it. I go, “Wow, they didn’t get the tape.” It was so weird. They didn’t know that we had this in our bag because they acted like they were had never seen it before. I know. It’s bizarre. And just the math of it, it gives you the extra blocker. Yep. Um he runs so hard that he’s going to likely get you the yard or two, but there is going to be a time and you know, probably the next time we go to it that we see defenses say, “Oh, we know what this is and we know how to stop it. we know what we’re going to do. And I hope that’s when we see the Tommy Reese wrinkle where he either runs to the line and throws or maybe runs down the line and looks for an open tight end on just a little slant. Something else has to be there and then that thing is going to be really difficult to defend once you get a second layer to it. Hey Jason, go ask Listen, go ask Joe, go ask Wyatt Teller. You ask them what they want to run on the goal line. I bet you they’ll tell you they a big fan of the Wild Dog because it gives them opportunity to come off the ball and be physical and take it at the at the defense. We forget because they are older and this is a couple of years ago, but one of the best aspects of the Cleveland Browns was their physical nature. Go back and watch that little screen pass and I know we we talked about the Wild Dog, but go back and watch the little screen back pass to Dylan Samson, David and Jooku. Great block. Ethan Poaches, great block. I believe Wyatt Teller was out there on that block. They sealed it. They they sealed the lane. He got through there and it was, “Hey, if you guys going to blitz like that, good. We’ll hit a quick and let our guys do the work.” But I like the fact that they going to let these dudes be physical because it it it puts them on them their heels. If you playing a team like the Las Vegas Raiders and they ain’t no good, man, we we bringing the pain to y’all. Like, you going to have to stop this. I wanted them to do it. uh on the third down when we they got cute and it was a false start. I’m like, “No, no. Bring that wild dog right back in here. Make them stop that.” Hey, Mike, can you put up the um the Quinn Sean stats again? You want a season or is uh the season, please? Yeah. You know, guys, they say numbers can lie sometimes, right? Well, I think outside of the touchdowns, uh, clearly if you’ve watched Quinn Shawn Judkins play every game this season, which we all have, those numbers lie. 3.8 yards per carry is terrible. That’s a terrible number. And if you hadn’t watched the Browns play all year and you saw those statistics, you’d be like, he’s having a lousy season. Well, statistically, outside of touchdowns, he is not having a good season. But if you’ve actually watched the games again, which we all have, you understand the fact that it seems like almost every play he is hit in the back field. Quite often he is hit. And that’s why I think he’s second or third in the league in yards after contact because he never goes down or rarely goes down with the first contact. And the the upside for this guy is so obvious for anybody that’s watching him play. Like in my mind, he can be a 13, 14, even 1,500 yard back without a doubt. He’s that good. Now, the part of his game that needs to improve, as Jason mentioned, is the pass blocking and just his ability to be a factor in the passing game in general. That may be more of a factor of the Browns offense as a whole. I just think missing training camp hurts him. Yeah. Yeah. Right. And he cuz he’s talented enough like he’s been a non-factor in the passing game. I think he’s only got 70 receiving yards. Like I’d like to see him, you know, have 400 receiving yards down the line. I don’t think there’s any reason he couldn’t get there. This guy I I I’ll be shocked if Quinn Sean Judkins is not a superstar in the next couple years. Yeah, I believe all that. I believe cuz you’re right, the 3.8 isn’t impressive, but Leroy has said it a million times. He doesn’t look at yards per carry. I know that you really focus on it. Um, everybody needs everybody needs a goal line back. Um, if you look at teams this year, one of them is the Cowboys that struggled in in goal line situations inside the red zone. That can make a mediocre season, I think they’re five, five and one. That can make a mediocre season a great season if you’ve got the goal line part of it figured out. Most games in the NFL are one-score games. If you find ways to score touchdowns instead of kick field goals, you dramatically increase your likelihood of winning one-score games. I think Judkins true superpower is he can he can score touchdowns. He’s got a nose for the end zone. It’s kind of like Kareem Hunt. Kareem Hunt is a guy that, you know, if you look at his numbers, even if you watch him week to week, you know, nothing really, but he’s their goal line back, right? But and and you got to have a guy that can score touchdown. Quinn Sean is is got to be way they didn’t draft him that high to just be a goal line back. He’s way better than that. They didn’t. But you said what makes him a much better back is the fact that he scores touchdowns. Well, four of them came on Wildcat. Right. Right. Right. So I I think I think yes, I agree with you. I do think he has the I don’t know about the 400 receiving yards per season. I’d love that. But I do think he is a 1200 to,300 yd back in the NFL and he’s a double-digit touchdown guy in the NFL and I think the upside on him is unbelievable. Again, I don’t know what their methodology was for this last draft class. They got it right. They just got it right. You know, I I look at one of the guys that we we haven’t talked about. I thought Mason Graham had an A+ game, but uh man, Harold Fanning Jr. I mean, dang, bro. You don’t like going down? Like it takes when when Harold Fanner Jr. catch the ball, bro. Like it’s 10 guys like count how many times he gets tackled but don’t get tackled. They they just have to eventually blow the whistle because his momentum is stopped. They’re like, “Okay, more black and blue uh bruises over those 40 yards than anybody that’s ever had 40 yards.” And six targets doesn’t sound like a lot, but Chador only threw what 19 passes. 20 20 passes. So that’s, you know, almost a third. And I think he should be targeted a ton because he’s probably their most reliable guy in the past. Be our primary receiver. Yeah. He he does a lot. He doesn’t even receiving yards for what it’s worth. He does a lot. He plays in in a lot of different positions. They move him around. Um the thing that, you know, this was a nice play. I I think they did a tight end screen and I think Shador was by his end zone and he threw a nice little throws a nice touch on on the football. Third and 13. Third and 13 and Harold Fannon Jr. catches the ball. He got eight eight nine yards to go and he moves, weaves and finds a just enough area opportunity to get that first down to move the chains. And those are the plays that get lost in the in the scheme of things is the little plays like that to extend the drive where you would have been punting. Now at least you can keep continue to run the clock a little bit. So yeah, I wonder how many teams in the last in, you know, in this century have three of their top four receivers are not wide receivers. It’s crazy. Well, Dylan Samson is quickly approaching that. He had his best game in for the season. He’s top he’s fourth, Mike. He’s on that list. Yeah. No, that’s that’s what I’m saying. Like he’s That’s what I’m saying. They got to they got I mean it’s not like he’s doing well. It’s cuz they all stink out, you know, in terms of receiving. I mean, the Patriot teams that had Hernandez and Grank were tight end heavy. Yeah, seen a couple other examples, but like it’s just I think what it says more than anything is we are glaring hole at wide receiver. Nobody’s having a very good year as a pass catcher. I didn’t look at the breakdown yesterday on targets. How many how many targets went to the receivers yesterday out of the 20. I can tell you right now and then we’ll talk Dylan Samson because there was a point in the game yesterday where Samson got arm tackled in the back field and me and Bo were like, “This dude stinks.” His nicest run of the season immediately after and obviously the big Samson’s role isn’t to run through tackles. Yeah. What’s funny is wasn’t you that said he was like no no Dylan Samson is small small. Yeah he’s small. Yeah. Like you you came back he’s like no Dylan Samson. What’s funny is you know how he had the big you know screen for a touchdown and they had won that one big run. Did he touched on that? Those two plays. I don’t think he did. Those two plays combined for over 90 yards. Those two plays and he finished the game with less than 90 yards. That’s crazy. Wow. your question. By the way, eight targets went to receivers, two were throwaways, 10 targets went to other players, backs, tight ends, and Jooku did not have a target. Actually, I actually would have thought that would have been lower to the receivers, and higher to the backs and tight ends. I’m surprised it’s eight because I don’t remember eight. Two to Bond, three to Judy, one to Corley, three to Tilman. That’s interesting. I mean, Bond, that’s first time I noticed him. Me too. Yeah, other than Shidor missing him in the end zone last week. That’s the first time I really know, oh, Isaiah Bond’s on this team. Hey, guess what? I don’t I give him Okay, he tracked he tracked over the shoulder. And usually we would have been like, “Oh, here’s a drop.” And in his defense, in Isaiah’s defense, part of his game is speed and they just haven’t had the time in the quarterbacks to be able to make him a vertical threat down the field. Maybe Shador changed. Like I said earlier, Joe couldn’t move. Mhm. And Dylan is that’s just he’s not gonna scramble, run out of a play, save a play. He’s not doesn’t have the arm and the size to to make that happen. So maybe maybe Isaiah Bond becomes more of a threat if Shidor is a quarterback. We’ll wait and see. But yesterday was the first time that I thought he made any sort of impact play this year. And kudos to the special teams which we were killing them, right? Remember that they gave up the two return touchdowns return yesterday. They made all their kicks. The punter did a good job. Larvadane set them up great. That was a great return. They had two good kick returns. One by Samson and one by who are the other good kick return? Bond maybe. I can’t remember. Corley. Corley. Who? Malachi Corley. Oh yeah, Corley. They ran their requisite Malachi Cory jet sweep. It got blown up. But but look, hey, listen. Special teams, we kill him all the time. Uh Andre Schmidt is technically a rookie. That when you we talked about it and laughed. He was like, “You think you’re going to make this kick?” He was like, “Yeah, Bull gave him credit.” He said, “I think he going to make it.” So, no, I didn’t. I said he was going to miss. No. Yeah. G me and you said make. Oh, okay. Well, you’re a hater. You’re a hater. We uh we mentioned him a little earlier, but during the live watch party yesterday, we we were giving Mason Graham shout outs left and right. I know you were there, Jason. Was it as obvious in person as it was, at least from our vantage point through the TV screen that he was just an absolute force in the interior of that line, the entire defensive line took over the game. So, yeah, you could I mean, the the big hit on Genty, I I joked with him, I said, “That had to be your best hit of the year.” and he said, “Yeah, he caught him slipping, too.” And we got to work on your celebrations cuz Jim Sh got to work on his celebrations. You got to work on his fit. We got you got to get him together. Hey, as long as you playing like that, I don’t care how he dances and what he looks like cuz he he played really really well. The entire defensive line was just dominant. It was obvious. Didn’t play well on the defense. Thomas even played well. He uh what’s his name? Cam Thomas. Yeah, Cam Thomas. He He’s a white guy with a black dude’s name. Um, he’s got a lot of making up for after the Jets game. Yeah, he do. Yeah, he does. One good game don’t get you off the hook. Devin Bush again. Bush. Another another solid game. Swissinger again. What? 11 tackles. Uh, Swinginger, you can just He’s really good. You can pretty much pen him in for double digit tackles. 11 tackles. Where is he in the tackle race for the NFL lead? Yeah. Uh, according to ESPN, he is not as close as I thought he’d be. He’s 10th top 10. I’d like to know know what our guy Dquel Jackson thinks of him. We’re going to catch up with Dquel here in Yeah. You know, uh we had a mutual friend reach out to me over the weekend and uh talking about Dquel and I I should have and I will I need to get back to it. There’s a million things I have to do before that. But I want to get back with him to see like what’s going on, where is he? Mike spoke to him and also some thoughts. Me and Dquesta talk pretty frequently. He’s doing good. He’ll be back on. That’s why GMAT reached out to me to give to tell him DQ said hi. But at some point the quell will come back on. There’s a few things that have to happen before he will uh join us again. But DQ is doing good. He says what’s up to all you guys. So um I miss his energy. Uh real quick, we got Joe Thomas in two minutes. As soon as he hops in, we’ll get in. Any rookies within I mean I feel like everybody that they drafted played a role yesterday in some capacity minus Dylan Gabriel because obviously he was out with the concussion. But you had contributions from your first overall pick in Mason Graham, your second pick in Carson Swissinger, your third pick in Judkins, your fourth pick in Fannon, Gabriel didn’t play, Samson your sixth pick, and Sanders your seventh pick. You had legitimate contributions from six of your seven picks and some undrafted guys in Andre Schmidt and Gage Larvan. They um showed the during the Rams con. Great call. They showed the Rams draft classes for the last I think it was six years. Yeah. And it’s no it’s not a surprise that this team is a Super Bowl contender at all. You look at the hits that they’ve had in their drafts and not just early. Most of them are after the third round. That draft class and I know it’s still early and there’s a lot of hay that is not in the barn. Yeah. But so far that draft class is an A+. Right. But what do the Rams have? Kurt Kurt Warner, Matthew Stafford. They do. Without him, the rest of it doesn’t matter much. Here’s the irony of all that bull. To get him, they had to give up all the first round picks. They are now on their second cycle of being a legitimate Super Bowl contender since that trade. Last year, they had their first first round draft pick since they made the trade. They hit a home run with it. That’s right. It’s not a bad idea to trade if if it didn’t work out for the Browns. If you can put And I know it’s just one. This is the best draft class they’ve had in almost a decade. If you can stack draft classes like that, that’s how you do what the Rams are doing. What’s the draft class they’ve had better than that in the last decade? I’m saying at least a decade. I think I mean, you could I don’t think they’ve had one since their rebirth, but I I haven’t gone back and looked at every single class. Every single person Every single person that was on that list contributed greatly in a win. And as a rookie, that’s very difficult. almost never happens and you’ve got some free agents on there that you know Bond wasn’t a draft pick. He made a big play. We’ll go to Joe. The Rams trade you mentioned that is the rare trade where both teams would do it again and again and again and again and it worked out well. It’s worth mentioning too the Rams had their first first round pick in forever last year. They traded it. They’d actually make a first round pick. No, they did. They took they had two first round picks in this draft cuz they traded to Atlanta. Yeah, they took a safety with the f in the first round. No, they they didn’t take a pick. They traded the pick. Are you sure about that? Yeah, they traded it into the next year. All right. Okay. But I think the safety I think the I think they took that safety number eight in the first round. That guy’s a he’s a monster. Last day. Last night they said he was a first round pick. I’ll check it though. Yeah. Yeah, you’re wrong on that. That’s okay. We’ll get to uh Joe Thomas here after a word from the Homebuilders Association. I thought they made 2025. No, no, I said after they after they went through that purgatory, which the Browns did as well. They nailed this guy. That Jared Verse is a baller, man. Yeah. Let’s bring in Joe. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. How you doing, Joe? Thanks for joining us. I’m doing great, guys. It was fun listening to you guys uh squabble over the Rams. We love nothing else, we squabble. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hey Joe, I’m I’m cur, you know, we were talking earlier in the show about that four game stretch that obviously you were a part of where Josh Gordon put up almost 800 yards and it one of the greatest four-week stretches of football ever. And now we’re talking about Miles Garrett 13 sacks in four weeks. Like I don’t know how you compare a wide receiver to a defensive end, but like Miles Garrett is just playing at such a crazy level. I don’t know how to explain it or like judge it, but you play you were a teammate. You were a Hall of Famer. You know what great football looks like. What do you make of what Miles Garrett is doing these last four weeks? Well, I still can’t believe what I’m seeing when I watch him out there. Actually, I think one of his best rushes of the day came late in the game and I think either the ball got out or it got blown dead and I looked over to my wife. I was sitting there next to Annie and I go, there’s nobody on earth who’s ever walked the face of the earth that could have stopped that move because his get off when the ball snaps is perfect. And then he’s taking such big steps so quickly and then he’s able to move laterally. So he can shake and he can get you to stop your feet in the middle of him running a 46 going forward. And then not only is he doing all these things, but then at the point of contact when you’re as a tackle taught to put your hand on the nearest point, he dips down and he turns himself into like a 3-ft high uh garden gnome as he’s turning the corner. So there’s literally zero surface area even if you could bend down to be able to block that low. And so I’m just looking at watching him on the film and I just can’t even believe what I’m seeing. He’s playing at a level that’s even higher than he played at when he won defensive player of the year. And it’s showing in the numbers and I’m and I’m so happy for him because the amount of work that he’s put in, his willingness to stick around and resign in the off season and play as hard as he possibly can day in and day out every single snap in spite of being on a team that’s not winning and an offense that’s not playing very well. I think it’s a testament to his character. It’s a testament to the guys in that defense to be able to figure out how to play at their best and give everything they got on every single play, no matter what the offense is doing or no matter what your record is, and a testament to those coaches on defense. So, I think all around it was a fun game to watch. It was fun to watch Miles and it’s really impossible to think how great Miles Garrett is right now. And I said at the beginning of the season, I said he’s the best pass rusher that’s ever walked the face of the earth. There was a little bit of push back. You know, Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, guys like that. You know, I never won against those guys. Obviously, they came before me, but uh watching film on them, watching Reggie White when I was growing up, I don’t think anybody’s done what Miles is doing right now on the football field from the defensive side of the ball. You know what, Joe? I’m going to listen I I I will take my small claim and victory lap and because I’m you co-signed and I’m just going to your your cache said listen when you are a Hall of Fame left tackle right and you are one of the one of the top five to ever walk the face of the planet at your own position and then you go against a guy like Miles Garrett. It’s like sometimes, and good gracious, I don’t even like to call myself a defensive end compared to what Miles Garrett is doing. Sometimes it’s wild that you see him do it and you’re like, “Nah, man. Nah, you can’t do that.” Like, that’s that’s that’s a cheat code. And for you to say it like when I’m saying Reggie White or or there’s obviously Lawrence Taylor, but I’m like, “No, he got it. He just got it for me, man.” I mean, is it when you went against him, did was there a point in time where you were like, “Oh, yeah. This guy going to be special?” Yeah. Like the first rep I had against him because he’s so big and so strong. But the way he bends, you know, a lot of guys have been his size. And there’s been a few guys who’ve been his size and his speed, but nobody’s been his size, his speed with his ability to bend all the way from his ankles through his knees and hips. And then the way he can dislocate his lower body from his upper body and turn that corner, it’s something we’ve never seen in this game. It’s so difficult because he puts together the power. I mean, we saw it on display last week when he took the right tackle for the Ravens. He just threw a 310 lb man down like a cheap suit and went uh and then sacked the quarterback. I mean, he just does that consistently. And as an offensive tackle, when I think about who are the guys that I hated going against the most, it was guys that were powerful, right? So, you kind of had to dig your heels in. You had to sit down and be ready for their power rush. And then guys that also had that speed. And he’s got that combination at a 99 out of 100 level for both of those things. And it just makes him impossible to block because there’s nothing you can try to force him to do and take away maybe what he does best because he does everything the best. There’s nothing you can take away and you’re just out there trying to play basketball against a LeBron James that’s 7 foot three. Like there’s literally no chance for the guys that go against him unless they double or triple team him. Joe, we started by grading Shadur Sanders. What grade would you give him for yesterday? You know, that’s a tough one because, you know, the the grading scale for a rookie in his first start is going to be obviously a a sliding scale. Not going to be the same as if you’re right. All right. So, so I would say an A. I mean, because when I looked at what I wanted to see from him uh in his first start, I wanted to make sure that he wasn’t taking sacks. He wasn’t just backing up if he didn’t really have a clear idea of where the ball was supposed to go. He was throwing the ball away instead of taking sacks. He was making some of those off-schedule plays as he’s rolling out of the pocket. And I thought he did all of those things in spade. He in spades. He stayed calm. He hit big plays down the field. And so he showed significant growth from what we saw not only in college and preseason, but what we saw two weeks ago against the Ravens. He opened up this offense to be able to push the ball down the field to give us some of those easy completions, to give us more chances to be able to run the football and take some easy stuff. And so I think you got everything you wanted from Shador Sanders in this game. And I’m so excited. I’m sure they’re going to name him the starter this week because there’s no reason to go back to Dylan Gabriel because you’re getting what you want from Shador. You’re seeing that growth, that progress, and I think if he continues to grow at that level, there’s going to be a really hard decision if he’s your franchise guy at the end of the season or if you want to use those two first round picks on a on a quarterback. How can you I was saying earlier, Joe, that it feels like he’s at his best when he’s on the move, but how can you play on the move and within structure? Does that make sense? Like, how can you get him comfortable and get him moving yet still where it’s not just, okay, the play breaks down, everybody go and and I’ll make something happen. Well, I think Tommy Reed did a really good job of doing that, of calling a lot of those roll out plays of of calling those plays that and one of them that I really liked is when you saw the whole offensive line, including the tight ends, it looked like they’re almost running like an inside zone to the right. And so they kind of start those steps so you get the defense to start reacting and then all of a sudden they kind of flip their hips and then blocked so that Shadur could fake the handoff and then do a little half roll to his left. And so now he’s rolling out to the left. You saw that time and time again with Tommy Reese where he was trying to give him opportunities to maybe have a little play action and then break contain and get outside the pocket and then give him a read. So, it’s actually it’s a structured roll out and then it does cut the field in half which makes it a little bit more difficult. A lot of quarterbacks don’t like that. But for a young player where you don’t want to have to have him making full field reads where he’s got to look left, look right, and he’s got so many things to think about, you just cut the field in half. You give him a half roll or a full roll out and then it’s pretty easy for him. Hey, I’m reading this top down or I’m reading this from the bottom and to the deep route. And so he can easily look and say, “Oh, we got Isaiah Bond streaking down the sideline. Is he open?” No. But you know what he did is he took the safety or he took the corner with him. And so that opens up the middle of the field and maybe that middle is open. If that’s not open, I can quickly dump it off. And so it gives him an opportunity to make quick decisions on the move where he’s not stuck in the pocket because he’s not yet comfortable being in the pocket and stepping up as he’s going through his progression. So, I thought that Tommy Reeves did a great job crafting a game plan for Shadore. And I thought Shador did a really good job making the necessary improvements and making a big step in the right direction to being a great franchise quarterback. Joe, hopefully the Browns will make improvements on their offensive line for next season, especially at tackle where they’ve really struggled. Obviously, it’s been a struggle uh since you retired at left tackle. Uh but I think we’ve seen flashes of Quinn Sean Judkins to me looking like a special back. But you have the trained eye more than I do certainly. So what do you see? Is is he that kind of special back or are you not ready to go that far yet? No, I’m definitely ready to say that Quinn Sean is a special back. I mean the way he’s able to jump cut and find holes is unique and it’s not something that you can really train guys. That’s kind of god-given. Having that vision, having that lateral quickness to be able to move and just switch over to a different gap and then explode through that gap. And then when he’s out into the open field, he’s got speed that I don’t think people gave credit for enough when he was coming out in the draft. Um, and then I love how he finishes runs and and the cool thing is when you have a running back that’s putting his shoulder down, that’s running through tackles, that’s dragging tacklers for two or three yards, it gets the offensive line fired up and you see those guys running down the field trying to push the pile. And I think it’s those little things that, you know, maybe don’t show up on the stat sheet very much, but it’s what creates a great team. It creates a fun environment where guys are playing for each other. And then when you do those things, you you tend to find ways to improve and at all the things that maybe you’re not so good at and and it just makes it a fun environment where guys are enjoying playing for each other. They’re enjoying playing for the Orange and Brown. And it’s something that you can build off of. And I think to me that’s what the season was to start with. I don’t think anybody thought we were going to win the Super Bowl, but it was like, hey, this is the foundational year where we’re building something. We’re building a culture. We’re building teamwork togetherness that can hopefully propel us into the future into some great seasons. Wanted to get your thoughts on another rookie on the offense and that’s Harold Fannon Jr. who has obviously had a nice season. Give us your thoughts on him. He’s been amazing. I mean, what a steal that guy was in the draft picking a guy from Bowling Green. He’s just been able to do everything. I think he’s a solid blocker at the point of attack. He’s obviously really good after he catches the football. He’s got fantastic hands and he’s become one of the great assets for Shadur Sanders. I mean, how many times did we see quick passes behind the line of scrimmage or at the line of scrimmage, whether they were designed for him or they were things where you said, “Hey, look deep. If that’s not open, just give it to Herold right away and he’s going to make something happen.” And I think giving that comfort level of having a guy like him for Shadore, who knows, okay, I may be looking for the big throw down the field, but if not, it’s okay. I can quick throw the ball to number uh 88 right there and he’s going to go make something happen. He’s going to give us positive yardage. And so I think he’s a quarterback’s best friend. He’s a he’s a rookie’s best friend when you got a guy that’s reliable like that. You know, Joe, um you know, we talk about it. You know, you’re three and eight. Um but you’ve played on some teams where, you know, at this point of the year it’s cold outside, you’re looking around, it’s dark at like 3:00 and you just out here, you just trying to find some things to play for. Um, how important is it to get, we just named a bunch of these rookies. How important is it to get that that feeling of, hey, we just went on the road, we won a game and and six, seven of these guys that just got drafted. Seven, six, seven, six or seven of these guys. Sorry. No, we’re doing it. I got teenagers, man. Right. I got teenagers. And they get that they get that feeling like, “Hey, man, we got to win.” Like this is that important to the young guys and for the the mental health of the older guys because you putting that work in and and you know, this season is not about the playoffs. Uh it’s so important. You know, I think about old guys. They’ve been around a long time. They know what it’s like to bring your lunch pill to work and do your job. Like it doesn’t matter what your record is. It doesn’t matter what’s happening. uh whether your coach gets fired or your coach is on the bubble or your coach has a long-term extension and there’s players and uncertainty like they know how to just go to work and do their job and they’re professionals but it’s the young guys you worry about the most and I felt this a little bit on my last two years when we were 1 and 31 for that stretch is like yeah the old guys you’re not worried about them but the young guys by and large have won at everything they’ve done their whole life I mean if you’re a professional football player you probably played basketball and baseball and you ran track as a kid and you were probably one of the best athletes in the state and so your team was probably pretty good and so you got used to winning which is great and you’re super competitive. It’s important and it carries through to college and that’s great but in the NFL most of the teams are 500 and so when you hear people say you got to learn how to lose or learn how to deal with losing a lot of fans are like taken aback by it. But the whole point of when people say that, it’s like you need to learn how when you lose, it motivates you and it doesn’t discourage you because so many guys when you go on losing stretches or you’re out of the playoffs and they feel like ah, you know, the average fan thinks you got nothing to play for. But as a professional, you got to understand it doesn’t matter what your record is, whether it’s the first game or the 17th. You got to put forth the same effort and the same preparation. And I think what happens sometimes with rookies, they go through this losing and they don’t know how to handle it and they lose that competitive edge. They lose that fire. They lose that willingness to prepare the same way that they did when playoffs were on the line or when they felt like this was a team that you could win. And I think it’s really dangerous to have a lot of losing when you are a young player. Uh because you could lose that fire and you never learn how to be a professional. So these last few games, especially this one, when you win and you get that winning feeling back, I think it’s really, really important for these young guys and you hope that this propels them to a good stretch of football to finish where there’s going to be some teams that are checked out. They’re coming into Cleveland, like you mentioned, it’s cold, it’s snowy, we’re in Alaska, it’s getting dark at 3:00 in the afternoon, and you got to learn how to play when you’re miserable, when the team’s miserable, when everybody hates you, when the weather’s terrible. Like, it doesn’t matter. in the NFL, you always got to do your job and you want to see the Browns pull together as a team down the stretch and beat up on some of these teams that have already mailed it in. Joe, before we let you go, does Miles break the single season sack record? I think he does. I think it’s going to be really tough from here on out though because I mean, teams are idiotic if they’re not blocking him with two and three dudes every single time. But hey, I mean, we saw it against the Raiders. There’s there’s uh offensive coordinators who have hit their head in the game at some point and they’re trying to man up their offensive tackle against Miles. So, I definitely think he’s going to get what does he need five more to to get that record. Um I definitely think I think he’s definitely going to get that and I think he might blow past it. I mean, he’s just playing at such an elite level and he’s so motivated to get that record. And the cool thing is he’s got enough other good players in that defensive line that are dra uh calling attention from the blocking concepts and from the offenses that they can’t just turn everybody to Miles and let everybody else one-on-one. And so, he’s getting a few more one-on- ones than maybe he has in past years because he does have those other dominant guys around him on the defensive line. All right, Joe, thanks. Always great to see you. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Hey you guys as well. Thanks for having me on. You guys got to check out our Cleveland collection on Hall of Fame beef.com. So, I’m going to read as many as I can in 9 minutes. So, okay. With that being said, J-Mack to Fresh says, “Solute to UCSS. Big salute to Shador Himethy Sanders. Throw two wrists up. He Sanders, I got one wrist right here. We going to throw two up. There it is. Let me just give you that right there. Give you that. There you go. Uh James May says, “Look what Shador did off one week of practice. I’m ready to see I’m I’m anxious to see that week too. That game.” The Akran Hot Saucer says the clip of Gino Smith flipping off fans after leaving the field is hilarious. I didn’t see that. I didn’t see that. I didn’t see it either. He was that Who was he mad at? Gino was mad at his teammates. I can tell you that. Mad at the guys that didn’t block. I mean, mad at Chip Kelly. We just heard we just heard Hall of Fame Joe Simon say, “You’re not blocking him.” He He should have just shook his hand and say, “It is what it is.” William Taylor says, “That was the most exciting Browns game I’ve watched in a long time. Go.” It was fun. It was a fun game. Wins are fun. Eric Bastion says, “This is Shador after one week with first team and already looked better than Gabriel and he played five to six games. James Mace says, “Shadore told us he is what we’re looking for and I believe him.” Evan49 says, “Major credit to Kevin for coaching 12 up.” Evan, you funny. Evan, you pretty funny. He funny, bro. Like he be uh Digital Mafia says the Raiders did send pressure. They gave the same looks the Ravens did. Shador just made the reads. I don’t I would be curious to see the numbers. That guy says it. It must be true though. It didn’t feel like they blitzed nearly as much as I thought. But maybe maybe they I got to check out the I got to see the Yeah, I want to see the blitz rate. It wasn’t to me. It didn’t feel like it. No, let me see. Couple times they sent five, but I I mean I just they blitz. I think it was a heavy dosage of blitz. We’ll find out when the official pressure number because I expected I said, “Man, how will he handle the blitz?” And we really never got to see it. Uh, Sweetie T says, “Something needs to be said about the wide receiver room giving up on routes. Tilman and Judy need to keep working because 12 will throw it. It’s terrible.” Yeah, I don’t know that one throw. I I again, the Jerry Judy thing. Oh, man. I we I’m anxious to see what he say about that. James May says, “How do you get Shador or how can you get Shador to play better within structure?” To answer Jason’s question is you draft receivers and offensive linemen. That’s part of it. Yeah. Don’t have to break down the play. Arm Dog says, “The Wild Dog is becoming the Browns tush push.” I give Tommy Reese big time credit on the play call, and I give Sanders a solid B. I like that. That’s They stumbled into it, too. They only added it because the the game conditions. Now, Adam, I was expecting you to push back against that. You you you’re the sample size guy. You’re like, “Ah, guys, it’s been four to it’s been four.” Oh, compare. You can’t compare it to the tush push. Tush push is guaranteed. But that’s worked for three years. It’s been very successful so far, but they’ve only done it four times that I can remember. So, Frank Bfano says, “Shout out to Jason Lloyd for making it in for today’s show. Love the show.” That is an effort, Jay. That’s crazy. Yeah. How many hours you drive or fly? 9 and 9. I got on the plane at 11:00 p.m. last night, Vegas time. Connected in Chicago at 5:00 a.m. Landed at 9. Yeah, I’d be looking. And I got And I got to do channel 3 tonight. So, did you come straight here? Yeah. Oh, wow. Change shirts and put a hat on. Ben Scott says, “Does UCSS like Shadore?” Trade him then. What you talking about? What? Don’t get that one. What you mean? Zup Loop says, “I give Shador a C++. He had an 8.7 total QBR. 40% of his passes were behind the line of scrimmage. Shaky in the second half, less than 60% completion percentage.” What was his QBR? He had an 8.7 total QBR. Is that true? Yeah. And an 87 quarterback rating. I didn’t realize it was 8.7. Well, happy for the debut, but concerned for San Francisco. He had a low completion percentage and he threw a pick. So, that’s going to ding him on some of those numbers, man. 8.7. Holy cow. Listen, I seen some Hey, we not going lower than I would have guessed it would have been. Uh, Eric Bastian says, “Short this with one week of practice. He got better. He better get all the reps. DJ got every rep since the beginning and he stinks.” Chief says, “Wait a minute. Wait, what about what about Bailey Zappy? No rest for Bailey. What about Dylan Gabriel? I mean, if they’re not the starting quarterback, you’re trying to tell me they’re not going to get first team reps. I’m too tired cuz I was I was I was going to make that one of your buddies tweeted that I think Friday. Who? I can’t remember who it was. Maybe Zack Jackson tweeted it out. Maybe it was Zach. It was all caps. It was Was it the all caps? I think he was being sarcastic. I joked with Earl and Mike at the Cavs game. Of course, it’s sarcasm. I joked with Earl and Mike at the Cavs game Thursday. I was going to come in Friday and say, “Bailey Zappy better get a rep.” Well, that’s what everybody was saying. They’re like, “How many first team reps did Bailey Zappy get this week?” The answer should have been zero. Yeah, right there. The answer, it’s the same answer that every backup quarterback should get. Not every teams do structure it differently. If you’ve got a starting quarterback that rests a day or every team does it differently, but we spent way too much. But if you’re working quarterback as a starter, Yeah. I told Boo, “Hey, listen man. The conversations at some point have to shift to what are we doing? What we doing do now? Like we we need to talk about now. I don’t care what they talk about. No reps.” Like, you know what I’m saying? Like people still are bringing up the rap. They still brought it up. I still heard it that I’m not I’m not I’m talking to them. Yeah. Like that’s the people I’m talking I’m like, “Bro, what are you doing?” Nah, bro. We We It’s It’s got the reps is here. You’re playing today. And even Shador Sanders said, what he said in press conference? I can’t be concentrating on what I didn’t get before. I just have to make the best of my opportunities moving forward. That’s how it works. That’s the way. Let’s keep it pushing. That’s the NFL. Jeff Shay says, “Everyone networkwide views went up yesterday and today.” Set aart Laz says the throat to bond Shador was on the move. He didn’t plan his foot. It was a flick of the wrist on time and accurate. It great. Uh, Emos12 says, “Andrew Barry may get a lot of heat, but if Shadore becomes the guy, by the way, I’m a Ravens fan.” That’s what he said. “Do you think Stfansky stays also rookie class? WTF? Not the same old Browns anymore.” Um, listen. Get to the end of the season. It’s a week to week. Hey, it’s a week toe league. Hey, listen. I sound like a coach. We own the 49ers. Get the end of the season. They’re not. We got to wait to say they’re not the same old Browns. They weren’t this week. They beat the Raiders. Yeah. A two and eight. You beat the Ners and that’s a step and you finish the season strong. Then we’ve got something. By the way, I just saw the Saints worked out Justin Tucker. Did they really? I’m surprised it took someone this long. That’s so stupid. I’ve been wondering I’ve been I’ve been wondering is he going to make for the Saints? I’m so glad Andre I’m so glad Andre Schmidt’s been making his kicks. That’s all I can say. Oh lord. GA Warrior said they shamed the screen stat, but damn receivers fumbled the ball. Coach removed the quarterback for the Wildcat not once but four times. Treat Shador fairly or release him. We ain’t releasing him. That’s not going to happen. That’s just a ludicrous comment. Move. We done got a win. Why would we release him? Why would we even think considering that? And we going to run that wild dog on the goal line next. That is that is just crazy. Original video says Shadore haters in the chat reaching into space trying to find something to hate on now. Move on. The Browns look like an actual NFL team yesterday. Uh Juju PSN says, “We got to study Jerry Judy’s brain.” Uh Sly says, “So glad they finally won a game out west. Got tired of going and watching losses. Also sat behind the Browns bench and hope 12 works out because if not, Watson looked very much involved.” Uh DK says, “I’m sick and tired of the bias and hate. You guys are sad.” What? It’s a bias and hate towards It doesn’t matter. I don’t know why we Yeah, I do think we should reserve the right to again to not read ones that are absolutely I mean, we do have to have some sort of editorial. See you later in overtime. The hate
The Cleveland Browns beat the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday thanks to Myles Garrett, a dominant defense, and competent QB play from Shedeur Sanders.
Kevin Stefanski won’t commit to Sanders being his QB1 next week though against the 49ers.
Plus, the Cavaliers looked like the Cavaliers again this weekend with Darius Garland bck in the lineup.

The white helmets made me thjnk the Browns should award Buckeye stickers would be sick.
So nobody hears that car alarm
People talking about guard rails SMH. He got a win
Car alarm is so annoying 😑 🙄 😒
21:38 it wasnt a broken play and it was a blitz called and they called blitzes a lot!! I repeat it wasnt a busted play!! Her we go with narratives all over again.. yall shouldn’t make statements without reviewing things they blatantly said Vegas didn’t blitz!!! So bad and one narrative
They punted to get the sack record.
Payton manning played this way his whole career they are haters period
OMG how in the world could you rate that performance a B-? Its astounding how much they do not want to give this kid credit. There is no way that you could not give this kid credit for that performance. Good job G. Bush. Call a spade a spade.
G bush stood on business for Shedeur
Jay saying they not 2 different QBs is a fucking lie & Jason be dick riding Kevin
He didn't face lol pressure what game was you watching
Another episode with the car alarm going off in the background 😅
It was a zero blitz on the play to BOND.

Shedeur Sanders' Browns Debut Draws 2.2M Viewers, Nearly Sets NFL Network Record
G Bush sitting back with his popcorn 🍿
Crazy thing to think about, the Browns probably could of been #1 in the division if they went with Shedeur sooner
How can you call SS12 inconsistent when he has had zero 1st team reps until last Wednesday? GTFOH!
34:35 WHO'S breathing in the microphone for the WHOLE show. Omg…
FIRE KEVIN SATANSKI
Jason Lloyd blatantly lied about the attendance at the game. The stadium holds 65,000 seats. 62k came to the game. Jason said the stadium was 3/4 full.
Pump the brakes you foolish Cleveland fans and media you played the friggen Raiders who last time I checked are friggen crap as well
G bush I love u man but I can’t watch this show anymore your wasted you time with a bunch of hater’s and it’s clear, sheduer play a hell of a game and he got yall a win in the road as a rookie in his first start and you hater’s going to down play him and say his grade is a C gtf outter here yall do not deserve sanders
G bush the only one here with sense of understanding the old dude is a hater and wishes that shedeur would’ve failed deep down
YEAHHHH TIMESTAMPS!!!! I LOVE UCSS I LOVE CLEVELAND LETS GO BABYYYYYYYYY
Sanders gets a C, defense gets an A, and it was enough to win against a bad team. Sanders has to get to a B or A level quarterback, otherwise we are back to seeking in the draft.
Thank you for putting the time stamps on these vids 😂
C grade at best! Its the worst team in league all you homers! But, best QB performance we had in a year. Stay tuned
City of Cleveland sucks as does this show of wanna-b’s horrible!!
Go Browns
Good Show 💯💯
First things first, if Jerry Jeudy keeps screwing up he will find himself looking at the hungry dogs from the sidelines. I think the hungry dogs are better than the starting receiving core.
The team played inspired – OL rookies did better than the lines from '99 – Judkins, Sampson have serious talent – & Sanders did great – got the team a win – all they need to do now is get rid of Stefanski – a clueless coach can ruin this team –
all i see is a bunch of haters dayummmm jason
