Miami Heat Take Out Mavs In Tyler Herro Return | 5 Wins In A Row For Miami | Kel’el Ware 20pts-18reb
Welcome on in guys. Tobin here with you and thanks for checking out the channel. Your Miami Heat victorious tonight over the Dallas Mavericks for their fifth win in a row. Five straight wins for your Miami Heat. Taking out the Mavs tonight in the return of Boy Wonder. Although I guess multiple people have that theme song now with the Kryptonian. My god, Kelware. I mean, I I I I just first and foremost, I want to I want to do something here for a second, Heat fans. Okay, so many of us and I and I can understand this because I’m a content creator. I’m a radio host doing this all the time. So, I get a chance to voice some of these things out. So, just be be be forewarned. I’m not hating on anybody for going about watching sports however you guys want to go about watching sports. But I also think that it is important to just kind of enjoy the ride right now and not have to think about oh big picture this. What move are we making? I know I’m as guilty as anybody on this on in these heat streets, sharpening my harpoons, wailing for things right now, looking to pivot to see what the next move is, see what the next what’s the next chapter, what’s the next thing. But this damn year has been so enjoyable. All right, it it’s a breath of fresh air. I’m loving it. And and I think that everybody should just take a breath for a second and just enjoy the action. Enjoy the ride, baby. What are you such in a rush for to figure these things? These things will be figured out. And I say that tonight because even today it’s like everybody’s wondering with Tyler Herro’s return, how’s he going to fit? Well, we’re not going to get really an a pure answer on that today because you got three rotational guys out, including the guy everybody wants to see him next to, which is Norman Pal. And Tyler Herro said even after the game today, I was a little bummed Norman Pal was I was like, Tyler, me too. I was bummed, too, baby. I wanted to see you with Norm. I want to see what that action was. I wanted to see what that looked like in this game against the Dallas Mavericks who are not very good. Um, but it was second night of a backto-back. Mind you, the Heat did go road to home. And so, you know, they didn’t rest anybody. They didn’t they didn’t uh go out there and and purposely they had a guy in in Norm Powell who played through a groin injury on the road trip, got hurt in the Bold game, played through it in the Philly game. They’re just like, you know what? Let’s be prudent. Let’s give him a day off. We are getting Tyler back. Give it Tyler kind of a soft landing for the game. Um, is it coincidental? Is it on per I don’t know. But it probably was the prudent thing to do if you if you’re worried at all about Norman Pal because Norman Pal’s been amazing for this Heat team. And so the Heat win today 106 102. I mean, Tyler Herro with a big- time clutch bucket after Bama Adabio stole the inbounds. Things were getting a little squirly there at the end. My my the toes cheeks a little squeaky on those PJ Washington open threes. Thank god he missed, but Cooper flag, he tied it up with some free throws and then uh bam missed a jumper. They call timeout. They’re about to inbound it and Bam just like like out of nowhere just like steals the inbounds, gets it to DaVon. DaVon Depella gets it to Hero. Hero just a high pretty runner and and and the the runner slot for Tyler Herro, the baby float. People can say offensive system, pace, need screens. Dude, this dude is so money when it comes to that floater. Whether it’s just hitting it pure, using the glass. Honestly, like I if if the floater was playing a guitar, Tyler Herro would be Jimmyi Hendris. Like he he’s that good at the floater. It really is. Like it’s it’s it’s all it’s so money for him every single time he gets to the baby float. I mean maybe he’s Eric Clapton and Dangels, but either way, you get the point. Like there’s there’s about nobody better at playing that tune than Tyler Herro is. And it was an interesting game because, you know, he got off to a bit of a slow start. I think he was over his first four and then went, I think proceeded to hit his next nine baskets. But the odd thing was about today’s game, the Miami Heat couldn’t hit a three to save their life. They were five of 27 from downtown and Tyler Hero only took two from downtown. And look, my view of it, uh, my untrained eye view of it was definitely Tyler Herro was looking at things. you could see like he was taking his lay of the land and there were some places there where it was a little bit of uh you know getting some used to things of you know where you know a thing where he’s not allowed to call for screens or anything like that or not allowed but that’s not really the system they’re running so you’re trying to figure these things out. It’s okay. It’s his first game back. We’re 18 games into the season and the Miami Heat are on a big time win streak right now. They’re six over 500. They’re playing really good basketball. Yes, it was squeaky cheeks tonight against a team that is very banged up, but I don’t know if you guys noticed this on the other side, the Heat also pretty banged up. And this team, man, like they all just I love this collection that these guys have. Like I I love looking up and down the lineup and I just find them to be so likable. I I really do. And it was funny like the the way they support each other and the way that there is just this this harmoniousness through them like Keshot Johnson taking off with this monster dunk today, right? Takes off like a damn rocket. Puts the heat up 3230 I think. And just like Caleb Martin, he he got the hell out of there. I mean, he made a business decision. And it was funny because I’m thinking to myself, that used to be you. That was that was you, Caleb, when you were here, which by the way, I I didn’t even remember Caleb Martin was on the Dallas Mavericks. I can’t believe where where this guy’s journey has gone, but that used to be him. And Kesha Johnson, it’s cool to see him basically go out here and just like show off that athleticism and and just the oh my god, the leaping ability of this guy is just tremendous. Then you have Kawware who dude another monster day for me to double double in the first half before the first half was even over. 20 points, 18 rebounds for Kell, three block shots, and he was the only guy to not only hit multiple threes, he hit three of the Heat’s five three-pointers today, which he definitely put some work in on that shot. Um, it would be, you know, that that’s another thing to kind of, I guess, dive into. There’s so many. But the rebounding and the emotion that this kid is playing with is tremendous. And I’ll get to that in just a second because I was asking some guys afterwards about this. I asked him about this afterwards. Um just it’s not even just engagement, right? Like he and he, you know, when I asked him about this, he was just like, “Yeah, you know, it’s just that’s I guess it was the thing I like about Kell is like you just ask him a question, he goes, “Well, I guess it’s just cuz I’m playing harder.” you know, it’s just it’s so matterof fact that it’s awesome. Um, but as you can tell, like Bam is like loving it. He’s like, I’m gassing him up after the, you know, I’m gassing him up during these games. They’re doing the old Bash Brothers forearm or or bicep bash. I guess in this day and age, that’s what the Junk Carlo and Aaron uh and Aaron Judge are doing that back in the day. Back in my day, that was Mark McGuire and Jose and Seiko. But I just love it. and and and dude, he’s got like he has this play right where he’s like he’s like under the basket, but he’s like almost behind the backboard, but the arms are so long. He’s doing like a flip up finger roll, but like it’s hard to even express if you guys didn’t see it cuz we had the perfect view of it. Uh cuz it was on heat side of the bench and just see these just go go go gadget arms just really timely with my references here today. All of the uh all of the uh the Tik Tok kids are just like you old hack bum. It was just it was crazy to see. Inspector Gadget, watched some Boomerang. You you you know, catch up on your classics. Either way, he’s got this arm just stretched out and flicking that thing up, man. It was it was uh it was very impressive. He’s been very impressive. Um and the Miami Heat, you know, they go in, they got a they got an eight-point lead at halftime. Hero starts to get going. Um Kel Wear, like I said, double double. Lheime Hawkins is doing his thing, but this is not exactly like the prettiest game in the world by any means whatsoever. Um, you know, it started off so odd. Bam got to the free throw line twice. He missed his first uh he got to the free throw line four times. He missed his first three free throws. He had been leaving a lot of free throws. A lot of meat on the uh the free throw bone these last couple of games. They need to get that squared away. Um we get to the third quarter. Man, it was uh it was it was a delight to see this team to to see this team going. Hero was really starting to get in his in his bag. He was hitting fadeaways over Max Christie. Um and he he really was starting to find a comfort level. We got a my favorite thing which is the spo challenge. I love it. And shout out to Anthony Chang by the way for putting that in his mailbag because I asked Anthony I said what’s the best spoion right now? Is it travel? Is it the timeout? Or is it the challenge? And he said by far it’s the challenge. He gets so mad. But the thing that’s great about it is Drew Smith, you know, we all know how much Eric Foser loves Drew Smith. He uh he knocked it off Naji Marshall and it was it should have been heat ball and and the refs had themselves a day. I don’t know what was going on. They were missing goalending calls left and right. they were missing possessions. And then at one point to start the uh second half, I’m like coming back. I was calling my uh my my wife and kids at halftime, giving everybody, you know, their good nights. And I I’m like look I was like it’s like delayed. I was like I thought I was going to miss like the first few seconds of that. And like no, they’re just standing around like looking at the uh the rim and Bam’s like it’s bent. And the referees apparently were like, “Yeah, it’s bent.” So they got to put the leveler out there like they’re making a like they’re putting a shelf. It’s ridiculous. Cuz like I don’t see anybody with tools out. They’re just kind of like like is that what we’re doing? Cuz And I was genuely asking like is this what the Heat like is that why they were shooting so badly? Ben was joking about that after the game. He goes, “I think it was that Ben Rim because they couldn’t hit anything.” But whatever. They uh the refs had a weird night. Weird night. But Spo, he goes out there, he’s incensed, he calls the challenge, successful, obviously because he’s killing it with the challenge this year. And he told you when I asked him about this last week where he’s like, “Yeah, sometimes I’m doing it to wake the ref up.” No, he did this because you wrong Drew Smith. That’s why he did it this time around. So, uh, and and another thing happened to to Drew Smith. Drew Smith had a bit of an adventure today. Uh he got uh Klay Thompson hit a three over him and then he got teed up because I think the Heat bench was talking bleep to him. And we know that Klay Thompson is super ornery this time of year. He’s getting into it with Aldama in Memphis. He got into John Morant. He’s just reached his old man has time for no nonsense time or or old man I’m going to act a fool. That’s where Klay Thompson’s at. Listen, he’s dating a starlet. Another timely reference by me. He’s you know he’s he’s a four-time champion. and he’s he’s in his he’s in his his swan song like he’s doing whatever he wants, right? But Drew Smith got like hip checked and he was just like lying on the floor and like for a second I was like oh no I thought it was another serious injury but no he just got banged too too uh too hard and Spo was like this is rid he was like so upset with the officials for this really really mad. So anyway, the Heat who, you know, go into the third quarter, they’re leading by eight. They go into the fourth. Uh Keshan Johnson got a three ball. Um which put the Heat up 11. Like all right. And then it was like, nope, we’re going to get Klay Thompson starting to hit threes. Max Christiey’s going to start hitting threes. And mind you, they didn’t have an awesome day shooting from three. They were 12 of 40, but that’s seven more threes than the Heat hit. So, you know, you know that that math can catch up to you. That math can catch up to you in a in a in a in a bit of a hiccup. So, they uh Max Christie got to within two. The Heat called timeout. It was a crazy time. Um Hero, they didn’t, you know, then they missed a couple of opportunities because Hero missed a jumper. was his first miss in nine shots. Flag comes the other way who uh and he had a nice close like he had some moments where he could have put this puppy away but he smoked an alley oop and then uh Kell he was going for an offensive rebound got fouled leads to hero getting the ball. Heat go four, hits the baby float. Then Nemhard comes back. He gets a bucket. Then DaVon uh rolls it on down, puts that little sweet soft touch runner, puts the heat of four. The Mavs call timeout. It’s like, “All right, we’re feeling all right here. We’re doing okay. We’re doing all right.” Um PJ Wing comes out of the timeout. He hits a three. He cuts the lead to one for the Heat. Haime goes to the line. He makes one of two. Gaffford got a monster dunk on KL Wear, but Tyler Hero would answer with a nice little runner off the window. Heat her up 9896. Washington would miss a jump hook. Pella would get out on the run, put the Heat up 100 to 96. And I was wondering at this point because Bam wasn’t in for a second. I was like, what are they doing? Like they just give him a quick breather cuz I didn’t know but the toe they’re still monitoring stuff. I’m not really sure. I also got distracted by Anthony Davis’s shirt at this point because that looks like something that Leroy and I could wear for Vice shirt Friday. It also looked like a man who very much is trying to get to the Miami Heat. Uh he was hobnobbing with Bam after the game. My goodness. I don’t know, dude. We got the warehouse. I don’t know if I’m interested in Unibrow. I got to be honest with you. Anyway, Cooper flag would come out. he uh he would be he would get it to within two 198 then nearly stole it and they stepped out of bounds so it stayed heat ball. Davon with a beautiful setup for Kel Wear to an alley oop made it 10298. Uh PJ Washington got a big putback cut it back to a two-point game. We got about 90 seconds left. Uh, Hero got locked up by Max Christie, but then Christy stepped out of bounds when he tried to drive, so they can’t get it going. Then Da’Von Mitchell, he traveled. And so we’re just going back and forth here. And then eventually we get to the Cooper flag drive. He uh was fouled by Kel and then thankfully uh Bam Adabio’s stolen inbounds pass led to the heat going up 104102. Mavs call timeout with 41 seconds left. PJ Washington missed a corner three. Pella got the rebound and Bam Adabio was fouled by Klay Thompson. So about 21 seconds left. Haime blows the inbounds. There’s about uh three so seconds left I believe. And PJ Want has another three to take. He misses that one. Bam. Got the rebound and then he goes to the line, puts the heat up four. That was all she wrote. But uh it was a little bit squishy there at the end. But I just man this team being where they’re at right now. They gutted this one out. It was not the prettiest offensive game in the world. Is that cause for whoever? I don’t know, dude. I don’t know. I’m not sitting here trying I’m trying to figure out what they got to do to go win Wednesday and where this is all going to lead. I know things are going really good right now. Does it look like they’re going to have some things to figure out? Yeah, for sure, dude. Yes, they will have. But you can’t tell me you’re not enjoying this squad. The the ruggedness DaVon Mitchell plays with, you know, the emotion Khal Wear plays with on top of the crazy freak athleticism that he has. Haime Hakez and just his ability to just make whatever creation he wants in the paint. It’s the footwork. It’s breathtaking, dude. It It really is. It’s a sight to behold. Bam bio just playing this rugged competitive winner at all actions. He’s drawing fouls like crazy. He’s maybe already, you know, maybe in the midst of his best defensive season, which is saying something. Uh Miss Asia Wilson saying afterwards, Deepo after that steel and then I think making fun of him for claiming that the rim was bent. Um, you know, there’s there’s something awesome about that. Simony Fonteio, poor Simone couldn’t get a three to drop today, dude. I felt so bad. And then at one point, he’s like trying to tomahawk and that didn’t work out well for him. But I I can’t get mad at him cuz look at him. Who who could get mad at Simone Fonteo? I’m a threeyear dude. I can’t. Um, and this is and and you know, Pella just is just a ball of energy at all times using his face and putting his his his entire body like in the wood chipper to do whatever it takes for this Heat team to win. You’re seeing Eric Spolstra. I’m going to talk more about this tomorrow, but Eric Bolster had an incredible pregame press conference today. Um, he was asked a question about the new offense by Chuck Cooperstein from the Dallas Mavericks, the voice of the Dallas Mavericks, longtime voice of the Dallas Mavericks. Did I mention you work for the Dallas Mavericks? Um, and it was an incredible answer and I want to dive more into it because I thought it was fascinating. But yeah, man, it was all in all it was great to have Hero back out there today. The guy was a big reason they won. He is still a bucket and yeah it it did it look a little clunk not because of him like I think just because it was a lot of guys out and yeah there was a little bit and and Tyler also mentioned after today’s game but this was a little bit interesting revelation where he said I probably could have taken another couple weeks but he wanted to be out there. He wants to he he wants to to be out there to to make it happen. I don’t think it was, you know, um, a matter of, you know, we’re 18 games in like this wasn’t I don’t think the the magic number or anything like that. So, I think from Tyler’s standpoint, he uh he wants in on the action and I’m and I’m excited to see what he can do. I don’t and Spo doesn’t seem worried about it. Doesn’t, you know, Spo’s kind of just like where I’m at. Like, let’s just let’s let’s let this thing play out, baby. Let’s just have some fun. Enjoy the ride, Heat Nation, right now. We’re on a ride. All right. We’re on a journey right now. And it’s fun. Big picture stuff. Whatever will be will be. You know, we’ll see. Will there be maneuver? Maybe. I don’t know. But you can’t tell me you’re not having the most fun you’ve had watching this team in in three years since the final season where it’s just like night in night out. You you enjoy what you’re seeing. and even and even that year like had its own tumultuous stuff. It was an incredible postseason run. So, it’s uh it’s been very very enjoyable watching this squad go out and do what they’re doing. Very very fun. Um and I always and I and I cannot ever stress this enough. I will always enjoy seeing the Heat kick the Maverick’s ass with Mark Cuban in the building, which which does lead to a little Tobe’s conspiracy cuz I saw this weasel sitting there and I was like, wait a minute. So, he’s now gotten back into power like he’s back into running things for the Mavericks because Nico Harrison got fired. And a cynic, not me, but a cynic could look at this and say, well, remember how he always was like, well, if I knew about the Luca trade, I would have stopped it. And it’s like he didn’t know as a as a as a main figurehead, he didn’t know. Or did he want the Luca trade to go through? Knowing what the backlash would be for Nico Harrison and knowing that he strangely had sold his beloved Dallas Mavericks, the majority stake of the Dallas Mavericks, and lost all control, lost all influence, and that the only way he could get it back would be if the president of basketball operations did something so heinous that the entire fan base turned on him. All the while this owner who looks a cuz he doesn’t know anything about basketball needs somebody to turn to. So he goes into the warm bosom that is Mark Cuban. A cynic could look at the situation and think Mark Cuban wanted this to happen all along. Wanted Luca to get as much as he loved Luca no longer having the main piece in the team the main say in the team anymore. Maybe he let some things go by the wayside so he could slither right in there and uh get back some influence. The cynic could think that. I mean, old Tobes, would I agree with the cynic? I want to disagree with that cynic. You know, either way, still great always beating Mark Cuban. whether he’s a puppet or a minority owner or whatever, he still sat on that bench next to that ridiculous Anthony Davis uh shirt and he got to watch that. So, that was fantastic. Great night tonight, Heat Nation. Five wins in a row. What are we doing here? Is this not fantastic? Are you not having fun?
Tobin recaps the Miami Heat 106-102 win over the Mavericks. Tyler Herro made his return and got back to scoring for the Heat. Kel’el Ware continues his dynamic run. Miami got a big defensive stop from Bam Adebayo late. It was a rugged win on 2nd night of a back to back where the threes wouldn’t fall.

Ware is the real hero!
Is Herro worth $50+ million a year extension,Go Heat.
Herro zero assist of course
I want to see starting 5 or even just playing together how effective they would be: Herro, Powell, Wiggins, Adebayo & Warehouseman!! 😁💪
Jimmy was sucking the energy out the team last year
I think it’s time Tobin!!! I think it’s time for a Kel’el parody song
I lost you at the whole "Mark Cuban had them sell Luka on purpose to regain power". I can tell you hate the guy, but that is some serious deep tinfoil hat shit that does not match with the obsessive fanboiness we've always known Cuban to have for the Mavs and for Luka.
Heat players were tired
Couldn't hit anything in that first quarter
EAT CROW BABY 🐐 HATERS‼️
Until today, we played as the number one pace team in the league. Today, we played as the 26th pace team in the league (Credit Wes). So if this continues, it would mean that Tyler indeed affects the offense in a deleterious way. It is not just about guys missing shots. Today, our pace was way off from what it has been so far.
I'm really loving this heat team ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Welcome back herro
Look I need back our starters leave Tyler out for a while
Powell could have played but because Tyler came back spo put him in we could have win by 15 if Powell was inn
Tyler defenseless watch and see
If you still think Pelle should start over Ware you’re fooling yourself.
🔥🔥🔥 In Riles we trust … Bandwagon is closed. #HeatLifer
The negative HEAT people have to be feeling like shit….
I'll always trust and believe in PAT RILEY for keeping the salary cap under, with high effort and coachable players…
I'm patiently waiting for VLAD GODIN will make a good fit into the rotation later on in the season
Goosy
Heat Nation got our joy back!!
Herro wants that Max Extension Contract.
Ware and Larsson might be the best 1st and 2nd rd draft picks for the Heat EVER.
Nearly every fan before the season felt the heat were gonna be terrible. Turns out they were all wrong and now every fan wants to say what’s the next best move of the team needs to make at this point I think it’s best to trust trusted though leadership of the heat.
Man can’t wait for Norman and Hero to play together . We have two guys who can create their own shots .
I agree Tobin. We need to just enjoy a good game. Im seeing some commentaries saying this pace can't be sustained and they will go back to pick and roll..but for now I see the heat playing well and giving teams the business. Go heat
Ba da ba ba ba 1:38
🔥🔥🔥🔥
There have been moments when Kel'el Ware, in his second year, looks like the most talented player on the court. He shows flashes of greatness every night and I am truly enjoying watching the Heat play quality team basketball! LETS GO HEAT!!!
Not at the cost of the franchise,
Looks like I was right about Sunday being the last time we can see this team play connected and score over 120 herro comes back the ball instantly stops and we barley score over 100 not hating just the truth of the situation
thank god we didnt trade Warehouse for Old Durant
The Miami Heat said.. “Let’s run it back”
Everybody said Pat Riley was old and washed…
Now look at this team.. no big moves just simple ones.. a better Rozier and a better Robinson. Our drafted players have been developed more. Etc
Big shout out to Jimmy Butler demanding a trade. Heat wouldn't be where they are without Jimmy's demands.
Seeing Tobin not have to hit the bottle cause of Miami is refreshing
Tobin I am so with you on that mark cuban situation. If you think mark cuban had no say in the luka trade you need your head checked.
Tyler is not a good fit for this fast pace offense
you know what's not a coincidence: the wins coming without YOWVICH DOOOOD! seriously i do hope keshad gets more minutes moving forward. his athleticism and strength is what we need for boards and defense. and his near free throw line dunk is something we need more off! even he's picking up this system better than jovic. jovic just too slow in decision making then rushes through his 3s and ends up bricking badly. ironic that this system gives the green light to anyone who finds an advantage in iso and jovic just hasn't really shined. shout out to the ultimate ware-rior for finally showing emotion and showing he' engaged! relieved the ball isnt sticking with tyler back. at least he's bought into the new offense.
Tobin is 100% . Heat Nation just need to enjoy the moments and more moments to come!💯. We're getting good old fashion 90s basketball!!
