Honestly the fact he was so young and got hired told me everything I needed to know, I believed from that alone that he was gonna be the real deal. In hindsight it woulda been interesting to see how he would have faired if he took over the roster Jeff fisher took over when he got hired. By the time Sean came in we were pretty loaded can’t even lie about that
At the time, that reply made sense. Gase was the youngest HC in the league, coming off a 10–6 playoff season and nobody knew anything about McVay yet. But looking back now, it aged so hilariously poorly it almost feels fake.
