Silly Body still ranked #4

  1. The funniest part is Darnold and Jones being top 10, the Vikings had both of them on the roster last year and went with McCarthy who’s unplayably bad and may be done already as a starter. They’d easily be in the fight for the division and playoffs with even cromulent QB play.

  2. Wow! Three out of the top four are NFC North quarterbacks. Surely all three of them still play for their NFC North team.

  3. Everyone here seems to be appropriately ranked too, or close to where I’d have them.

Stafford bad throw percentage is surprising.

  4. The Packers have 11 rushing touchdowns of 7 yards or fewer this year. I think if a few more of those are touchdown passes, the national perception of him is a lot higher. I think all of us know how good he is, but he has a lot of games with pretty modest fantasy numbers. Which, unfortunately, is what a lot of casuals base their opinion on.

  5. I think the biggest part of Loves game that’s getting overlooked right now is how well he’s taking care of the ball. Only 5 total turnovers on the year and is near the bottom of the league in sacks taken.

Thats with an Oline that hasn’t really been able to run block and put us in play action situations.

Im a little surprised he’s above Maye in this and that he’s still top for EPA with the completion % and ypa falling a bit but Maye also takes a shit ton of sacks compared to Love. Also shout out to Dak for being up here in these rate stats even with the Cowboys having a top 10 pass rate, the run heavy/play action teams usually crush in these (see Sam Darnold)

It’s not sexy, he’s never going to be an mvp candidate this year and I think he’s prolly run a bit hot on the INTs with our receivers dropping some easy ones but winning those 50/50 balls. Overall though he puts us in a position to have a chance in every game.

  6. Advance stats are great, but you eventually need to deliver better box score numbers. Over the 4 last games Jordan is averaging 190 yards, 61% completion, 0.5tds, and 0.3 ints. 2-2 record with losses scoring 13 or less.

  7. It’s crazy how bad Trevor Lawrence has been, he got a huge contract and is playing like a bottom tier qb

  8. is this going to end up being Rodgers worst stat year? Just crazy how far he’s fallen. I know he’s an old man now, but Brady and Favre had some of their best stat years post 40, was hoping we’d see a final surge from Rodgers.

  9. Well I don’t disagree with this, I will still never recognize QBR as a serious metric. If no one else can verify your metric, then your metric sucks. I really wish people would stop including it in charts like this.
