The Denver Broncos Know EXACTLY What They’re Doing..

Who we scared of? Ain’t got to be scared of nobody. Keep it going. got real for the whole AFC, man. I’m telling you. You don’t want the Broncos to have a number one seed. If you got to pull up to Denver and see about this your ass in trouble, man. I promise you. I like Bo. He’s not perfect. What young quarterback is? The fact that the Denver Broncos are already the AFC 1 seed just a year out from drafting one of the most polarizing quarterback prospects in the 2024 class is a rise that nobody saw coming. From barely sneaking into the playoffs in 2024 to now surpassing the Kansas City Chiefs who have won the division nine straight times in 2025, it’s a statement to the rest of the league that nobody is safe. It’s been a long journey back to the top. But now in hindsight, it’s abundantly clear that the Denver Broncos have known exactly what they’ve been doing and now could end up with a fourth ring when it’s all said and done. Now, as we’ve kind of grown accustomed to watching these Denver Broncos, it kind of just stays true to the testament of that old saying that offense is going to sell tickets, but defense is going to win championships. And that’s been Denver’s recipe for success. Historically, they’ve had Hall of Fame quarterbacks in John Eloway and Peyton Manning running the offense, while a top 10 defense helped them make deep runs into the postseason with the no-fly zone of the 2010s largely responsible for their Super Bowl 50 triumph. But now in 2025, that formula has been completely flipped on its head. Denver’s defense is entertaining enough on its own to sell out Mile High and potentially propel them to championship glory, while the offense’s true level has been difficult to discern all year. And I’m telling you, America, that defense is awesome. Yeah. And while I think Shawn Payeyton is a little overstated at times by some members of the media, I think he designs an offense where guys do seem to run open a fair amount and their quarterback cannot hit them. If you have a great defense, good offensive line, and dynamic running game, then you can get away with having what is right now a bottom five or six production. But it’s been on the offensive side of the ball where it’s kind of been tougher to kind of grasp what Denver is trying to do or what their vision is on that side of the ball. And I mean, really, that’s understandable, too, because how can they keep squeaking by with a quarterback who is statistically regressing in year two while struggling to break a streak of slow starts? Even Bonix himself has had visible moments of frustration on the sidelines against the Chargers in week three, a game which Denver ultimately went on to lose. He was seen telling himself, “I had so many chances today.” And look, I know the Denver Broncos, they’ve been undefeated since that moment, but it’s been anything but smooth sailing for them. Between week three and 10, the offense failed to score a single point on their opening drive in any game, more often than not, falling into holes that they would dramatically climb out of in the fourth quarter. And I mean, to their credit, they have executed ridiculous comebacks at every time of asking. Against Philly, they erased a two-score fourth quarter deficit. Against the Giants, they erased a three-score deficit and once again left it late in Houston to win 18 to 15. But interestingly enough, few in the media were willing to give them credit for completing these comebacks. Instead, fixating on their failure to take charge of the games across all four quarters. teams that they have executed those comebacks against are, except for Philly, bad teams that find ways to lose. And I would see in that scenario the Broncos doing something they do they desperately do not want to do, which is put the game in Bo Nicks’s hands. And that to me is the recipe for multiple turnovers and the recipe for the Broncos offense to get totally out of sorts. Because while I the over kind of the undertones of what you guys were saying is even if they lose and now look I’m not going to sit here and try to convince you that Bo Nicks has been one of the best quarterbacks all year long. Well, yes. Yes, I am actually. But that is with one major caveat. Nicks has been the best fourth quarter signal caller in the entire league and the numbers back it up. Not only are his five fourth quarter comebacks and game-winning drives the most in the league this season, but his total of eight across two seasons is the most by any quarterback in NFL history. And he’s not even done with year two yet. In the fourth quarter, Knicks averages a 94.7 pass rating and 6.7 yards per attempt. Both significantly higher than he manages at any other point in the game. So, the idea that the Broncos don’t want to be in the position to put the game in Bon Knicks’s hands is simply ridiculous. And he proved that in week 11 of this season against the Chiefs. Denver found themselves in the rare position of leading a game going into the fourth until the Chiefs did as they always do. Mahomes to Kelsey for the go-ahad score. I mean, after all, they’re inevitable for that. But so is Bo Nicks. He took over the game in the second half and dog walked the KC defense into Chiefs territory at each time of asking. He completed four passes of 20 plus air yards during the second half, including a pivotal third down conversion to Troy Franklin, which not only moved the chains, but set up a very manageable 35 yard for Willlets to hit through the uprights for a walk-off field goal. And just like that, they had down the conference champions in a very tough win and headed into their buy at top the AFC. And look, Bo Knicks, who was viewed by many as potentially the Achilles heel of an otherwise championship caliber roster, and that’s the thing, too. This team is rallying around its quarterback. Even their tight end didn’t mince any words in postgame. Even Shawn Payeyton was singing Knicks’s praises to the media as well. Your left bow, especially on that last drive at the one to Sutton and outstanding. How did he perform tonight kind of at a big I think real well. He won. That’s his job. He won. Stepping up to the occasion like that in a big game is a value that cannot be understated. And Nick Knicks has been doing that his entire career. But knocking off the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West is truly something special. It wasn’t just that he won, it was the way he won. Like turn on the All 22 from this game and you’ll see him make some crazy throws. He thoroughly outperformed Patrick Mahomes on that night and the potential for this offense is clear to see. It sounds weird to say. Yeah, baby. It sounds weird to say, but for the first time, I would say for the first time since Pton Manning was their quarterback, the Denver Broncos have a more explosive passing game than the Kansas City Chiefs. That’s that’s where we’re at. And now, look, there are many factors on this offense that are just kind of contributing to the Broncos success the year. Of course, they do have Courtland Sutton, who is one of the most reliable veteran receivers on this team. But more importantly, Bo Nicks is starting to make that kind of not transition, but he’s starting to make that connection with one of his former Oregon teammates in Troy Franklin. The speedster hasn’t always been the most reliable pass catcher, but he finally seems to be developing that connection with Knicks, which will allow this pass attack to flourish even more. With rookie Pat Ryan then emerging as an exciting option, RJ Harvey, a great receiving back in his own right, there’s plenty to look forward in this young offense and hungry as well. They do have the second most drops of any receiving court in the league, but surely that will be cleaned up over time. Denver also has one of the best offensive lines in all of football, which has helped Knicks attain a league low sack rate of just 3%. And yes, part of that credit is to Nicks, who is particularly mobile and decisive. But the fact that this line helped JK Dobbins average five yards per carry before he went down with a potentially season ending injury is a testament to their quality. Then on the other side of the ball, they might be even scarier at the line of scrimmage. Vance Joseph’s Broncos defense is a sight to behold as his ability to simulate pressure and dial up blitzes from anywhere on the field has just made them impossible to take your eyes off of with nickel corner Jaquan McMillan sacking Mahomes twice in that Kansas City game. Above all though, this unit is notable because of the special collection of talent in Denver. Even their recently arrived star and Hafunga said this about Joseph. The first thing that he told me when I came here was players first, scheme second, which is what you want to hear. What that means is Vance Joseph is about putting the guys in the best position to succeed and the best position to make plays, not just sticking with one approach because it’s his approach. Like Vance Joseph is all about results. And these guys have been succeeding in 2025, too. Manhandling anybody in their path. They’re allowing the third fewest points in the league and are dominant against the pass and against the run with the best red zone defense in the league by quite some margin. Pat Certain is the biggest name on the roster and while he has had a solid season, he’s missed three games to injury and this defense has continued to dominate even in his absence. The same does go for Alex Singleton, the leading tackler, who has missed some time, but been more than adequately covered for since week 10. The standout quality for this defense in 2025, though, has to be its pass rush, specifically Nick Bonito. The fourth year edge rusher has been virtually unblockable all season long with an elite first step in fantastic pursuit speed to finish out plays. Bonito leads the NFL with his 23% pressure rate and his nine and a half sacks have him only behind Brian Burns and Miles Garrett on the year. He gets home so much thanks to the other elite talent on this front like Jonathan Cooper, Zack Allen, and even John Franklin Myers on the interior. That’s the crazy part, too. The 2025 Denver Broncos are chasing history as they are on pace to break the 1985 Chicago Bears single season sack record of 72. Having already registered 49 through 11 games, this defense is strong enough that even through Bo Nicks and the offensive slow starts, they’ve kept Denver in games entirely on their own when needed. And their resume speaks for itself. The Broncos are clearly the best team in ball and the Broncos have a Super Bowl winning head coach and a defensive coordinator that knows what the hell he’s doing and a defensive player of the year at corner that ain’t even played the last two games. The Bron the Broncos are clearly the best team in the AFC right now. Now what the Broncos have beat the Chiefs and they beat the Eagles and we know how we feel about both the Chiefs and the Eagles. The Broncos got two losses this season by a combined four points. Two losses by a combined four points. Beyond all of these stats though, the impressive wins and the broken records, this Denver Broncos team has something that makes them truly terrifying. Unshakable confidence. Um, if you want to be the best, you got to beat the best. And, um, you know, if you’re, uh, some say if you’re scared, go to church. But, um, I think it’s good to, uh, um, if you’re going to play this sport, if you’re going to play this game for for too long, you can’t really be intimidated or there’s really no no sense in going out there if you don’t believe you’re going to win. and eventually get to the top, then I feel like you just waste so much time. Jonathan Cooper put it even more bluntly as well. Who we scared of? You ain’t got to be scared of nobody. Keep it going. Like when your seventh round draft pick can speak with that kind of confidence, you know you’re doing something right. It also helps to have a quarterback who remains self assured despite his struggles and can grind out wins in the unlikeliest of circumstances. And when he really can’t get anything going, Knicks is bailed out by a defense that can go toe-to-toe with anyone in the league. But once this offense finally does find its feet, which considering the youth on that side of the ball, will definitely happen at some point, the Broncos have concocted a recipe for success in this 2025 season and beyond. Even if this offense can’t quite match the defense yet, a plan is clearly in place, and it’s safe to say that the Denver Broncos know exactly what they’re

In today’s video we will be taking a look at why the Denver Broncos are secretly one of the most dangerous teams in the entire NFL this year.

  1. Well this year has just been disappointing because we didn't really travel anywhere fun, especially the summer. Our original was to visit the National Parks in the West Coast but the van we planned to travel on got sold for dumb reasons. Had no choice but to cancel it to next year, Hopefully 2026 will be better!
