The good news is we no longer have Mike Babcock who would probably bench Kane in his final game before he could complete the record.
Man I still want Modano to come out of retirement to play one game as a fuck you to Babcock.
Hey Babs, you were born on third with the team we won with and we all still hate you.
The article itself has a lot more of Modano retelling his chase for the record, which is fun. The title is kind of funny to me, like the other option for Modano when asked would be “I hope he goes pointless for the rest of his career so I can stay on top.”
Pretty cool we have had all of the (arguably) greatest American players of all time play for our franchise. World class organization.
Patrick Kane, Mike Modano, Chris Chelios, Brett Hull
