It’s tough to even speculate on how much of a shit show Selke voting is going to be this year with no Barkov/Bergeron. It’s either going to be voters going, “I guess Hischier and Reinhart finished high in previous years, even though they aren’t really Selke guys” or it’s going to be picking a player at the top of one of these lists.
But Twitter & Facebook told me Backlund is useless /s

Been like that with Backlund for a long time. Goes back at least to the Backlund/Hudler/Frolik line.

This is why I dont understand the hate for Backlund! He’s consistently been a shutdown kind of player. Would i like it if he put up more points? Absolutely, but if this team were a consistent playoff team that third line would be invaluable!
