Who cares about team valuation? Ask fans of those high value teams if knowing their franchise is worth more makes them feel better while paying $150 for upper bowl seats.
A 40% value change in 1 year seems crazy, but Carolina jumped 53% as well
Yes but it was the second highest Increase in growth and doing pretty well with the ebita. It seems like the death of the RSN is also causing parity with lower end franchises rise while established market stall out (looking at you Pittsburgh!)
What’s holding it back is revenue and Columbus is a gate driven market. The MBA in me would be going to the front office saying you are constantly selling out and have one of the cheapest tickets in the league…it’s time to raise them to cash in but I assure you that’s not what fans wanna hear.
When this was evaluated in 2022 we were at $600M. Thats a massive jump in valuation in 3 years, especially after the death of a star player, and 2/3 of those years being almost dead last in the league.
Actually win here , and watch how fast this changes
This has less to do with Columbus and more to do with expansion fees.
