[Highlight] Joe Burrow on playing on Thanksgiving:

“You grow up going through Thanksgiving — you have your meals, and you sit on the couch … watch the Lions vs. somebody, watch Matthew Stafford throw 300–400 yards with Calvin Johnson, and probably lose the game.”

  1. My favorite Lions thanksgiving memory growing up was, down 24, they brought in McMahon who got the TD, 2 pt conversion, then recovered onside kick, another TD…then failed 2 point conversion and failed onside kick. But there was a glimmer of excitement.

  2. Ouch.

As my dad would say, “there’s very little truth in the world and the supply always exceeds the demand.”

  3. I got really nostalgic for this era ngl. The light blue jerseys, the slightly worse tv quality. The comebacks…

Stafford > Megatron is forever a part of me.

  4. I’m just glad players never seem to have Lions Thanksgiving memories between the Barry era and Stafford era.
