Seems like JDub was pretty disappointed by things that didn’t make the fina cut of the show

The show wasn’t that good. I’ve only seems about 2.5 episodes of szn 2. All it shows is how RICH these guys are lol from their homes and cars
Shai was barely in it tbf. Even in the finals it was at least 60% Hali
i need to go back and find my comments from before season 2 was released telling people to lower their expectations because the first season wasn’t that good because i feel so vindicated rn haha.
Im going to be honest…I thought the Shai, Harden, KD parts were really good and could’ve used more of those guys. JB was meh, though I loved the dynamic between him and his family. Waaaaay too much hali (or they could’ve just legitimately made his part more interesting than it was). I promise I ask this without bias & zero hate, did he get more time than everyone else? Definitely seemed like they leaned a little heavy on him.
I feel like the season started off strong but the later episodes focused a bit too much on the wholesome life of the Haliburtons lol, not that it was bad, but I was definitely looking for a bit more of Shai competing in the playoffs or even more insight on the veteran players like KD/Harden like we had on earlier episodes
Producers just didn’t do well man. It’s so simple.
I thought people liked it? I didn’t watch it but I swear people talked positively about it
I also want to add that Season 1 was 10 episodes and had what many considered a “boring” lineup. Season 2 was much more anticipated with 2 of the players in the finals and was only 8 episodes I think. Makes me wonder what they cut out.
Is it crazy to think they could be holding on to a lot of the Shai footage for some future Netflix special about the greatest NBA player to ever live?
