Barry Trotz uh from Nashville quote that’s really hitting everybody from the Tennessee and his I need more [ __ ] from them. I need more [ __ ] from them. [ __ ] from them. It doesn’t read great. No. He said the frustrating thing for everyone is that we just don’t score. You look at names on our roster who should score more because we have Philip Forsber and Steven Stampos and Jonathan Marsheso and we all think we’re going to score. Here’s the problem. None of them are centers. I was about to say who’s feeding them the puck. Who’s feeding them the puck? Coaches are not GMs. GMs are not coaches. This coach who is a hall of fame coach cannot GM. And if you’re the owner, you got to be like, “This guy who gave me lots of years of great service as a coach has spent all of my money in awful ways. Stamos was an abject failure of a contract. Marcheso, O Maron, the Ascarov trade looks abysmal. He’s one of the best goalies in the NHL right now. You’re getting killed here. This guy shouldn’t have his job a moment longer. He’s the worst GM in hockey, bar none. And this is a very respected hockey mind, Hall of Fame coach. You would hire him as a coach in a second. Oh my god. Not even the worst idea I’ve heard. You know what is the worst idea I’ve heard? Today’s Monday. him being GM Tuesday.

I mean I get it to a point. 1Cs and 2Cs don’t just fall out of the sky. But even then, Trotz’s moves have been wholly abysmal. Theres no defending what he’s done.

I saw the Predators play the Capitals at the old Richmond Coliseum in an exhibition game just a few days before their first ever NHL regular season started.
Kolzig was out there along w/ Jagr. Nashville's lineup was very much the same that night as their 1st game. Point is that 1st Year team and several that followed were far more competitive than the current edition.
The worst I've ever seen from a Predators' team. Trotz definitely has made some questionable decisions as GM for NSH. Making the team a LOT older hasn't helped. Stamkos is just awful so far; five POINTS so far.
As a Bruins fan I pay no mind to Nashville Predators…
