2025 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards Finalists
Good evening and thank you for tuning in for this special announcement of the 2025 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Award finalists. I’m Taylor Zarzer with the Tennessee Titans and it’s my pleasure to welcome everyone watching across the great state of Tennessee and around the world online. This is the 41st year that the TWSAA has honored the top high school football players in the state. Finalists are nominated in a statewide poll of high school head coaches and members of the media conducted by the TSAA. We have 10 different groups to reveal with the three finalists in each category. Let’s begin with the 2025 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Finalist for division 1 class 1A. They are Cole Brown McKenzie High School, Jaden Bunch, Kfield High School, and Deon Cooper of South Pittsburgh High School. For division 1 class 2A, the finalists are Zack Groves, East Robertson High School, Andrew Johnson, Fairley High School, and Jaden Pete of Milin High School. The 2025 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football finalist in division one class 3A are Thomas Hefner Melrose High School, Quincy Mitchell of Forest High School, and Graham Simpson of West View High School. Up next in division 1 class 4A, the finalists are Kaden Ball, Greenville High School, Bronden Chaffen of Upper High School, and Thomas Manu of Alcoa High School. The finalists in division one class 5A are Kaden Long, Knoxville Central High School, Cooper Newman, Severe County High School, and Tay Starks of Munford High School. For division 1 class 6A, the finalists are Andre Adams, Antioch High School, Kelvin Perkins, Southwind High School, and Craig Tut, Oakland High School. Next up, we have the finalists for the 2025 Tennessee Titans, Mr. Football in Division 2, Class A. The finalists are Jared Curtis, Nashville Christian School, Nicks Fulen of Typton Rosemark Academy, and Terry Ward, also Nashville Christian School. For division 2 class doubleA, David Green Jr., Boyd Buchanan High School, Kaden Marble of Battleground Academy, and Shavar Young of Web School of Knoxville are the finalists. In division 2, class 3A, the finalists are Briggs Cherry Baylor School, David Gabriel Georgees, also of Baylor School, and Tyreek King of Knoxville Catholic High School. And our final category is the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Kicker of the Year. The finalists are Tommy Bacherero of Brentwood Academy, Owen Maddox of Notre Dame High School, and Michael Vanpelt of Gibbs High School. Congratulations to all the nominees, their families, coaches, and teammates. This truly is a wonderful honor. The winners of the 2025 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards will be announced on December 9th during a special ceremony at Nissan Stadium for TWSA, their outstanding staff, and the Tennessee Titans.
