BT says the Knicks will NOT win a championship with Karl-Anthony Towns:

There’s just something off with this team. There’s something off. I don’t like the way the Knicks are built with Carl Anthony Towns. We We This is no surprise. We all knew this a year ago. You and I have said this and and we’re not alone in that regard. I was all in for the trade. I think it was the right move. But after watching him play with Jaylen Brunson and the way that they played a year ago and the same thing even worse now, I mean, I I think that they have some issues. To win a championship, it is 2 months of continuous highlevel efficient basketball. The playoffs start April, right around tax day and it ends right around middle of June. You’re talking two months. I’m not saying you won’t get two games or even a month or two weeks from Carl Anthony Towns being that reliable, efficient, no stupid fouls, no lazy fouls, no three for 13 nights where he disappears. You will not get two months of that. You will not. So they either trade him and they and they really take a big boy swing to win a championship or they will be championshipless

Brandon Tierney does not see KAT playing a sustained level of championship-caliber basketball to get the Knicks through a deep playoff run.

  1. Hopefully with this monster performance vs the Nets that he can get in a groove offensively because defensively he will never be good unfortunately. This is why he needs to play efficient offensively or we have no chance because he gives you nothing on defense! I am choosing to still believe in him. Hopefully he proves me right and he can play championship basketball on offense!

  2. Since they added him he's not the missing piece it's totally obvious Knicks need a bona fide man a bonafide dog a superstar next to Brunson and that's what the Knicks been missing for years and decades will they get it I don't know
