You’re going shopping. Alex mentioned what’s on his wish list. What is on yours? Are you spending? Are you big spender? What are we doing? I’m not spending. I’m I’m spending a different type of uh monetary system. I’m trading. So, I’m looking for a big trade season for a guy that’s making $17 million in 2026, possibly 21 million in 2027. That’s Sandy Alcantra of the Miami Marlins. So, you were happy with the way he finished the season? Very happy. He was he was back to being the dominant pitcher that he was at the end of the year. And uh for two more years of control, putting him and Horton as your one and two and having the three veterans backing that up, that to me that’s a championship caliber rotation. I mean, he was rumored at, you know, before maybe some play started to drop off for a lot of teams really. So, you’re using all your gift cards. The C the Cubs are gonna have to trade a guy like Wiggins in a deal like that. Interesting. Okay. So, it’s gonna it’s going to hurt, but it’s going to help. And that’s where I’d like to see the Cubs go. I want a surefire number one pitcher to go with Horton as 1A and then all the very good veteran pitchers that are left in the Cub rotation. Look, I’m with you. They need a frontline guy. They just need someone else like a more power arm. I would like so well you get San Daniel Contra and you’re saving your money and you use those gift cards. I’m just gonna spend because that’s what I do because you know like with that we’re talking about it and so I’m going after Dylan cease because if you’re getting Sandy Contra I just like a guy who I mean who doesn’t like Dylan CE and the fact that you get your power arm he posts um so he’s going to give you quality innings at that and really even with this defense uh he gives you the bonus of striking out guys he’s one of the best in baseball or one of the best pitchers to do it but with the defense behind him it’s not even that you need someone like that, but you like someone like that. So, I’m in on CE. I love Dylan CE. Great makeup guy. You know, he spent a lot of time in Chicago with the White Socks as well. Family reunion at the holidays, right? Wonderful guy. But, but I I’m concerned about the innings pitched. Okay. So, his innings pitched were down and he’s not averaging the six uh innings per start that you want from a guy that you’re going to have to pay $30 million to for six or seven years. That’s what it’s going to take. It’s going to be close to a $200 million deal for Dylan CE. And uh at age 30, he’s earned that. 200 strikeouts every year. He hasn’t missed a start since 2018. Those are great qualifications for who you picked out, Elise. [Music]
