[Seahawks] Legendary. Earl Thomas III is a Hall of Fame Semifinalist.

Well deserved. Hope his “antics” at the end of his career don’t overshadow how good of a player he was in his prime.
On a team of HOFers, IMO prime Earl was the best. I’ll never forget him laying Gronk out
Would be sick if he gets in, cause as of right now it’s pretty much just sherm and Bobby and that’s a shame for such an all time team
One of the 5 best players I’ve ever seen
Blue Lightning. How he could read a play and come scorching in to make a blasting tackle at the line of scrimmage was crazy.
Absolutely deserves it. Better than all but maybe 3 free safeties ever
Earl was electric for sure. He was a one of a kind free safety. Wish his legacy had lasted a little longer to cement this for him, but hopefully he gets it as is. He’s a HOF talent for sure.
I don’t want this to sound like a sympathy vote, but I really want him to be inducted because I see how much it matters to him. Football was his entire being. He didn’t want to just be great, he was obsessed with being the best, to the point of being ridiculously obnoxious. And to a large extent, he was the best at his position for a long time.
His final chapters of his career and personal issues may give pause to his selection. But when I watch his most recent interviews, it looks like all he has left now is his family and football. I feel bad for him to a degree, because you can see the toll he’s paid and I know this would mean so much to him.
I’m a “Big Hall” person but for me there was no one I’d rather have had at his position during his peak years and that to me is HOF
He was a semifinalist last season too. It’s a good sign that voters are still voting for him.

Does he make the cut this year?
He should honestly be first ballot. There isn’t a better single high safety in modern NFL history. Reed is considered the GOAT safety in modern times but I doubt he could have done what Earl consistently did on those LOB defenses.

He more than deserves to get in. He was the crown jewel of a legendary defense.
Hes in the top tier of safety pretty much. Best since Ed Reed. Only Kyle Hamilton seems like he’ll be the next in that tier, completely different player tho.
But yea Earl was unreal, the range, the intensity and IQ, just an insane clutch gene and knack for making plays, from a position thats the furthest away from the ball with the most ground to cover. Probably still my favorite football player all time
I will never forget the way he played free safety. He truly was wherever the ball was, wherever a play was to be made, hard hitting and intimidating, ball hawk, etc.
He could fly across the field to get involved unlike any other safety I have seen. Privileged to have seen that as a fan.

Of course he will make the HOF. It’s just a matter of when. He was most people’s favorite player on the LOB. A heat seeking missile that had complete disregard for his health. What every fan wants to see on their favorite football team
Combine that with the ALL PRO’s and he’s a lock. Maybe not 1st ballot, but I sure hope he is
ppl always use that goal line stop/strip of megatron as a Bam Bam highlight, but he wouldn’t have been in position to lunch that out if Earl don’t slow him down/hit him first.
