Will someone please pay me millions of dollars to state the glaringly obvious?
After our last two coaches a coach that will admit fault is refreshing. I wish he’d improve at a quicker pace but I genuinely feel like he has shown a willingness to learn from these moments.

Canales is always playing catchup. Tries to do the split-load between Dowdle and Hubbard, it doesn’t work, everyone tells him it was a stupid idea, he says “yeah my bad” and changes his plan. He goes too run heavy against the Saints, they stack the box, everyone flames him, so Bryce throws for 400 next week. Then he decides to keep abandoning the run, rushes for 9 times in an entire game, everyone points out it was stupid, and he says “yeah my bad”
It just feels like he has no idea what he’s doing.
Shame you didn’t realize it while the game was still on like rest of us.
This sub is wild. Hate Rhule for never taking accountability. Hates Dave for taking accountability.
He’s a young coach, he’s shown promise and growth, and he too will continue to develop.

If only there was some kind of *time* at the *half*way point of the game in which one could make adjustments
Canales really needs an OC. Not an Idzik-like dude that he just has helping him install, but a real OC. That way the OC can actually do shit and work only on that side of the ball.
Canales spent only a single season as a playcaller. If he wants to call plays, whatever man. But he should at least get his bearing as an HC first then go back to playcalling.
Stop overthinking this shit, Dave!

It’s like he turns his brain off during and then switches it back on after the game is done.
You can’t make adjustments in-game by recognizing shit isn’t working the day after my guy.
Stop telling us you need to do better, just fucking do it. I’m getting sick of these what if moment talk. Like if you incapable of calling plays in the moment then you need to get a OC that will do majority of that for you while you think of how to win the game.

As a bucs fan who was only recommended this post, his play calling two years ago were just as aggravating. We had one of our worst rushing seasons the year we had him. Our hb’s were only really productive when given a screen pass.
