The Patriots announced that T Thayer Munford Jr. has been signed to the 53-man roster from the Cleveland Browns PS. In addition, CB Alex Austin has been placed on injured reserve, G Bill Murray has been signed to the practice squad and RB Jonathan Ward has been released from the practice squad

When the fuck did Austin get hurt?
Austin on IR and holding off on Campbell? I know it doesn’t matter yet because before the game is before the game, but are they holding out hope he’ll be back too early for IR to be worth it?

A guard got hurt and Brown played. Both tackles got hurt and Lowe and Bryant played.
Wallace must legit be awful at everything
If they choose to activate Mumford over Caedan Wallace on Monday, then someone needs to dig deeper in Wallace’s downfall. He started 4 straight years at Penn State at RT and played some guard last year, and can’t catch a sniff of that gameday check? It’s gotta be that he just doesn’t fit the McDaniels system, but he’s still gotta be useful at least as a jumbo TE
