Kon Knueppel is quietly making history 🏀 #shorts

While all the rookie buzz has been centered around Cooper Flag or VJ Edgecomb, Coniple is quietly putting together one of the best rookie seasons of all time. This man has been so sharp rumors are swirling that the Hornets may consider trading LaMelo to hand him the keys. Now, I know this all sounds a bit sensational for a guy who’s averaging 195 and two, but something clicked at the start of November. In his last 11 games, Khan is averaging 233 and six on ridiculously high efficiency. 44% from deep, 50% from the field, and 94% from the line. That’s 5040 90 from a 20-year-old. Now you might say, well that’s just an 11game span, but only three rookies in league history have ever gone 504090 over an 11game span. The three ball has been by far his biggest weapon. Khan is on pace to shatter the rookie record. But if we look at everyone in the NBA who shoots at least 8 and a half per game, he’s right behind Grace N for highest percentage. Now teams are realizing this and actively game planning to run him off the line, but this is the X factor. Khan might look like he’s just a shooter, but he’s punishing defenders at the rim. His finishing rate is 62% which is higher than guys like John Morant and Kate Cunningham. Clearly, the Hornets nailed the pick, but now they have a difficult choice to make. This is supposed to be their core. LaMelo and Miller are the key duo, but it’s not working. Out of 173 possible games they could have played together, they’ve only suited up for 41. There’s no doubt they’re both extremely talented, and LaMelo has called trade reports false info, but it’s hard to argue how much sense they make. The best Charlotte has finished with LaMelo is ninth in the East. That was in 2021, and it’s gotten worse every year since. Really, it doesn’t matter if the reports are true right now or not. If Khan keeps playing like this, which I think he will, the Hornets will be forced to consider building their team around him, which most likely means moving LaMelo.

  1. The Hornets won’t trade lamelo. They’re not in the business of winning. There in the business of filling those seasonal seats , WNBA expansion, and sponsorship for the new arena. The hornets do the bare minimum when it comes down to their roster but maximize returns on everything else….thats how they make money/stay afloat. They don’t really invest in a winning talent/tradition.

  2. He can be a silent superstar. The way he is as a human and plays. There is a small chance, that there is finally a Dirk. Someone that does everythikg for the team, like doing paycuts and play with the team no matter what

  3. I think he is a player that is a superstar but doesn’t need to be the lead guy on his team. Giving him the keys might not be the best thing even though he’s a superstar but

  4. Kon has been absolutely HOOPING for my Hornets to start the season. He’s been very impressive. Looking forward to seeing him continente to grow and develop as a player.

  5. Went to the hawks game. They almost won cause he played dirty and pushed vit into another hornet to draw the foul it’s in that moment I decided I shall now forever be a kon hater
