Brisker strongly hints that Jaylon and Kyler are playing Friday

  1. I’ll just be so happy to have not have Nick McCloud on the field anymore. He’s been truly awful in pass coverage.

Truly an ideal setup to get these guys going and then immediately get some extra rest to be fully ready to go agains the Packers twice in three weeks stretch.

  2. Just hope they can stay that way for the remainder. So may injuries this year but it would be wonderful to have everyone healthy going in to the playoffs

  3. First year head coach.
    Second year QB.
    Dubious RB position.
    Completely depleted backfield from injuries.
7 of 11 games 1 score or less.
    Negative point differential.

Tell me all this before the season, and I’m thinking we’re 4-7 or 5-6, and just keep losing close games.

But at 8-3, and potentially getting health in the backfield again? Let’s goooooo! 🐻👇

  4. If they’re close it makes sense for them to give it a go on Friday since they’ll have two extra days of recovery before the next game

  5. Man if JJ and Kyler do come back our secondary is looking EXTREMELY strong with the way Byard, Brisker, Wright and Stevenson have been playing. Hopefully will help make up for the injuries at LB.

  6. We have a chance to get healthy/scary on defense just in time for Caleb to hopefully be playing his best football in December just like Ben Johnson has been saying pretty much since day one… exciting times to be a Bears fan

  7. I wasn’t looking forward to the matchup Friday without them.

I’m still worried Barkley will put up 200yds and 3+ TDs.

Pressure is on Caleb this week to be fast and efficient. Best DL we’ve seen and, while it is encouraging, I wonder how much the OL stats are buoyed by Caleb’s elite escapability.

  8. Hopefully an extra second can help out Sweat and the D Line.

This season has been amazing. However the pressure from the line has been lacking.

Getting the back end at full strength would help them out so much in hopefully invading the backfield.

  9. when healthy, i firmly believe we have the best nickel look in the league (and it’s honestly not that close, either). Stevenson, JJ, Byard, Brisker, Gordon is a CRAZY 5, especially when you consider how well they can step up and tackle against the run.

I know “QB on a rookie contract” is an oft stated window, but next year really feels like it’ll be our best shot to have a stacked team on both sides of the ball. Here’s hoping it all comes together with the boys we’ve come to love watching!

  10. Guys what do we do about Jaylon? We’ve got almost zero cap space next season and we can’t afford another layoff from one of our top players.
