MORE Good News Keeps ROLLING In For The Dallas Cowboys…
[Music] Cowboys coming off a big-time win over the Eagles. That fan base remains in shambles, but we’re talking about the Cowboys here. Plenty of defensive talk, by the way, on today’s show. I am not going to guarantee Matt Eberloose comes back the same way you know Jerry Jones might want to but I think the last couple weeks even before the Quinn trade we saw some good stuff on defense or at least some stuff that I don’t think was the coordinator’s fault as much so do you want to keep Eberloose as the Cowboys DC your chance to speak your mind in the comments why for yes n for no let me know in the comments section of today’s show had a bunch of good news and some bad news yesterday Now, some good news. Quinton Williams, I love him. This is everything and bit, frankly, a bit more that I was hoping we were going to get out of Quinton Williams this year. Some stats against the Eagles, just the one tackle, went for a TFL, had a quarterback hit. Also had eight pressures in this game. It was a factor in why the Cowboys were able to have success and and and handle them and get pressure and just have all kinds of good results against the this front that the um that the the Eagles have deployed. I liked a lot of what I saw out of Quinnon Williams this week and the week before. to put this in perspective with just how good they have been or he has been I should say in his time with the Dallas Cowboys with the Jets over the course of his season. 32 tackles he’s got five against the Cowboys. Obviously the game’s played a very different year. He already has more sacks, double the amount of quarterback hits, and has almost as many pressures in his two games with the Cowboys compared to the rest of his season. Quinn is showing the stuff that we saw earlier in his career about being a high-end impact pass rusher. This is what I wanted out of him. This is why when you have a chance to go at a big time talent, you just do it. The play the Cowboys have gotten from Quinn Williams against the run and the pass has really elevated everything about this Cowboys defense. The Eagles and Raiders were scared to run the ball against them. The Cowboys have allowed 30 carries for 90 yards in their past two games and you take out the quarterback scramble stuff, it’s down to like 2.4 yards per carry. The impact that Quinn Williams has had on this Dallas Cowboys team cannot be understated. Some more good news I want to get into here on Osa Odigizua. He is on fire right now. I have been extremely impressed with the way that OSA has played this year for the Cowboys, especially as of late. Four tackles, the sack, obviously a TFL there. Four quarterback hits, five pressures in that game against the Philadelphia Eagles. OSA was awesome. Turns out he does just need a a Batman and as long as he has the Batman, he can be the effective Robin and have success. Look at what he has done as of late. So again, the last three games versus his first eight games with the Cowboys. 21 tackles in his first eight games, obviously down to nine, but the per game ratio is pretty good. Almost as many TFLs, has more sacks, has over doubled his quarterback hits, and is two pressures away. That’s includes, by the way, the Cardinals game. The three best games of the season for Oso Odigizua have been his last three games. This is the stuff that he needs on that front. He needs to be able to have that big-time performance to have that other guy next to him. And he did against the Cardinals. Maybe that wasn’t the best example, but the recent two, he’s been on fire. So, grade the Cowboys defensive tackles, including Kenny Clark, who’s been very solid, too. Grade him for me. A, B, C, D, or F, let me know in the comments section of today’s show. Next up is Sam Williams. And you guys who have watched the show, and we’ve all done it, but I have especially in the comments as well. For some of you, I’ve bodied Williams. I have called him out repeatedly. I didn’t like the way he was handling himself. Didn’t like his results. He deserves some praise for this game. He has not been a plus player for too often this year, but he was a plus player against the Eagles in particular. His effort play, that’s what it was, effort to chase down Saquon Barkley, knock that football out, and to help the Cowboys win that game cannot be understated. Hopefully that leads to good things for Williams going forward. Cowboys need him right now at the edge rusher room. That was a big-time play and maybe his best game of the season for Sam Williams. Uh, more offensive line talk that I want to get into and discuss here. We mentioned the the uh, you know, Nathan Thomas Tyler Gayton conversation uh, recently. Thought overall Terrence Steel was pretty solid against the Eagles. Uh, it was not the most perfect game out of Terrence Steel. It was a tough matchup that Jaylen Phillips was a very very good football player. Didn’t call his name out very much, but he did get some pressures um against the Cowboys offensive line, mostly Terrence Steel. I thought in the end he was pretty solid. Not perfect, not benchable though, and that had kind of been an issue in in recent weeks uh for Terrence Steel. Tyler Smith, meanwhile, I thought had maybe his best game of the season. No penalties. He had some penalties earlier this year. 84.1 run blocking grade at LAPF. He he had a lot of success up front. Thought Tyler Booker actually did some inconsistent but good stuff. Had some highs, had some lows on that front. Uh you need your offense line to play well after a bit of a slow start to that game on offense. I thought the offensive line kind of clicked and and played better as the game went along. We will have more Cowboys coverage for you right here on the channel. Hit that sub button. youtube.com/cowboystv. free Cowboys videos each and every single day, usually multiple times per day as well. Another player I feel the need to give some extra love to, and I know many of you have done this too, Elijah Clark and his efforts cannot go understated. This is the it’s it’s it’s the dark it’s the Batman line of why do we fall so we can get back up. If you haven’t seen it’s search Elijah Clark on Twitter will be the first one that pops up. uh special teams play gets knocked down once, gets back up, gets knocked down again, continues to pursue and forces the fumble that the Cowboys should have taken the lead on after that play. Hey, he still made the play. That type of stuff, the little things like that you have to have if you’re going to win football games. Brian Shottenheimer was actually showed the alternate angle because he can’t see it from where he is on the sideline with that angle that we saw on Fox. Uh but I think it was by Ed Warer after the game and said, “That’s a game ball. He’s getting a game ball for that one and he should. Those types of plays are how you carve out a five, six, sevenyear NFL career even though you might not end up being a starting caliber slate safety. So, who else gets a game ball for the Dallas Cowboys? Guys like Elijah Clark, like a Sam Williams. Who else deserves one? Let me know in the comments section of today’s show. Some more good news. Dak Prescott continues to own the NFC East. It’s kind of crazy this stat. We we we mentioned it uh going into the game. He had won 18 straight games at home against an NFC East team. It is now 19 straight wins the Dallas Cowboys have had with a healthy Dak Prescott. Their last loss was in 2017. That’s how long ago it was. 19 straight wins. actually pretty even by the way between the Giants Commanders and Eagles now that you just played the Eagles again in his career against the NFC East. It continues to pop up good. 14-2 including 14 straight wins against the Giants, 12-2 against the Commanders. The Eagles are 10 and he should say against the Eagles he is 10 and five. He has been nothing short of incredible in the in the regular season uh games that matter the most. He continues to show up and deliver when it matters. To put that in perspective, you know what Patrick Mahomes’s Mark is against his division opponents? 36 and seven. So, we’re talking nearly identical numbers there to the guy that has been the best quarterback in the course of his NFL career. Tom Brady is 90 and 22. Obviously, more games than there. He kind of made the Bills his Giants. The playoff stuff is the playoff stuff obviously, but for the in division games that matter, for the ones that help you make it to the playoffs, which sometimes we tend to forget and give praise to quarterbacks who can’t even make the playoffs and pretend they’re better than guys that do make it, this stuff matters. To continuously perform like this in the biggest moments against those division rivals, it matters. That continues to deliver against the NFC East. [Music]

Do you want to keep Matt Eberflus as DC? Type ‘Y’ for Yes, ‘N’ for No
No must go
A++
Tyler booker
No unless he gets this defense playing like a top 5 defense, otherwise, he's got to go.
Would like to see who Schotty would choose as DC
C+
I like Q92 hustle to the football & he a team player a lineman pushed EZ in the back when he was trying to make the tackle out of bounds n Q sent him with him 😂

Where is DIGGS!???
N
Sam Williams is liking like he is getting his explosion bacc coming have the injury I expect him to be better down the stretch
He deserves to have the #40 jersey just based on that one play (Billy Bates).
first you. rip everyone then if they make one play..
NOw go out this off season and get a
“Brian Burns/Micah Parsons” type lol.
The DTs get a grade of a B
Hell No. Fire Eberflus at the end of the season. He has so much talent they are saving it but he's not a good coach. He had no success in Chicago. Get a real defensive coordinator.
Game Ball for Tyler Booker
Get rid of him
No
F-No! Get a different DC that maximizes the potential this defense.
B
What do you know, it’s almost like being on a team with more options than your self actually helps quinnens production?? What?????
Getting quinnen Williams and George Pickens in one season is insane front office work
I think we can stop Gibbs
I’ve never been big on jumping ahead and looking opponents after the upcoming game, in this case the lions. But if the ‘Boys away with a win against KC and Detroit AND no significant injuries, I will make plans for some playoff games. If that happens 🙏🏾 , more than likely it’ll be away games.
