You could tell I’m still wearing the same clothes. It is Sunday night. Uh, and uh, this team is a great old dumpster fire. [Music] What is up, Finn fans? How’s everyone doing on this Monday, Monday morning, after the Miami Dolphins yet again choke away a victory? They choked away a victory against the Patriots. They choked away a victory against the Bills. They choked away a victory against the Panthers. And yet again, they choke a victory away against the Chargers. It’s it’s it’s a dumpster fire, man. Hence the title of the video, hence the thumbnail. It’s bad. And there’s going to be some things we’re going to talk about. uh some things the Tua Tonga Aloa said that uh isn’t isn’t boating well uh especially um we just got to get into this stuff but first and foremost got to shout out the sponsors first and foremost you all know about Sleeper love Sleeper use them a ton use the promo code DDW get 100% up to $100 and Again, you get a free $20 entry. Say goodbye to sweat stains and a hello to long lasting freshness because football season’s here and we’re all sweating because our team sucks. So, let’s get into this. Let’s let’s I don’t want to get into this. I’m being honest with you. There’s a lot of stuff that’s going on right now and I don’t want to get into this. Um, apparently somebody told me that uh Mike McDaniel talked with Steven Ross and um essentially uh McDaniel said that the team is battling, no one is quitting and um he said he only lost by two and that Steven Ross kind of just walked away from him. So, but this is what bothers me, right? And I want to talk about this because I have defended Tua. Look, when Tua does something that earns my defense, I’ll defend him. And when Tua does something that earns my critiques, I will critique him. And when Tua made the comment about uh seeing his kids, right, the question was essentially, hey, what do you take or what do you do with all the criticisms and everything that people give you online when he talks about going seeing his kids and it kind of, you know, doesn’t really matter him and then he uses the extreme example of it doesn’t matter if I throw five touchdowns, five interceptions, when I go see my kids, you know, everything’s Gucci. When he said that, I was like, people are really blowing that out of proportion. you know, it’s not that big of a deal. Uh some people were like, “Hey, you know, we want to see him, you know, fight and da da and completely ignore all the other things.” But then this man came out after the game yesterday and said, “Tula tells reporters that Dolphin players have been late and skipping players only meetings in recent weeks. Eye-opening example of problems with the one in five Dolphins.” Tua begins answer. It starts with the leadership. This man comes out here and just starts pointing fingers. He was late. This he was late. Like again I will defend what is defensible. But this on the other hand sounds like a petty child coming out being like well he was late. And then Emanuel Acho comes out and says the Dolphins have to fire their coaches after this statement. Tua also just incriminated himself. He doesn’t have the respect of all his teammates. If players are skipping player only meetings, this is not a healthy reverence of leadership and authority inside the walls. Yes. A,000% 1 million% yes. And then Barry Jackson came out and said, “To be clear, because it is being portrayed incorrectly nationally, when Tua is talking about players showing up late to a players only meeting or not showing up at all, he’s not talking about what everyone thinks when they’re uh thinking player only meetings, the type where teams are losing.” He’s referring to position meetings where players beyond what they do with coaches discuss the week’s opponent, strategy, nuance of the game, etc. Those are meetings in the Dline. The DBs asked the coaches to start attending recently. Barry, I love you, man. I love what you do. You have some really great insight, but it doesn’t matter. It’s the fact that this man threw I only say two because the one interception was on Jaylen Wadd. But this man comes out here and throws interceptions and then in his presser and again he probably I didn’t see the full presser cuz I honestly I didn’t care. I’m at the point where I’m mentally drained and at this point until they make a move they’re not going to get a happy Doug. Um he comes out and he says this like are you kidding me? Like seriously dude you had a bad game right? Yes, we marched down the field and we scored two touchdowns, took the one-point lead and without uh with Jaylen Phillips not tackling Justin Herbert and then another uh I think it was Trader uh not tackling Manki really screwed the game up for us. But like you come out and this is what you say well then Mitchell uh Mitchell Schwarz comes out and says isn’t he just telling on himself? He is the leader of the team and guys aren’t showing up to the players only meeting. Has nothing to do with coaches or front office. Players only meetings are governed by the players. Very weird to talk about and admit. And again, I guess this is where Barry comes in and says, “Well, technically he’s talking about blah blah blah. He’s talking about position meetings, not player only meetings and yada yada.” And it gets worse, right? Because Curt Warner comes in and Curt Warner says, “I hear your point. talking about uh what um Jordan Schro says and this is very clear uh and then Ed Werber word says this is a very clear uh indictment of the head coach already in trouble. Then Kurt Warner comes out and says I hear your point. Uh being a pro means you have to you have a standard that you hold yourself accountable to no matter what. It’s not expecting someone else to hold you to that standard standard. get you ready to do your job or motivate you to want to be great. To blame another person/coach, etc. for your lack of professionalism is a copout in my opinion. So essentially, he’s saying, you know, these guys should want to be there. These guys should be on time because they want to be good and and this is what they should want as being a professional. He also comes out and says, “My point is if a coach has to police his players, he’s he has the wrong players.” While you’re uh while you are saying if a coach doesn’t police his players well enough, you have the wrong coach. We’ll see the world through different lenses. So essentially again Curt Warner saying you should as a player who wants to be good who wants to win games who wants to you know move forward you should want have that fight and drive in yourself and you shouldn’t have to have somebody you know rile you up to play at your high standards which he’s correct. Uh but also your head coach should have some type of you know whatever. Um and then well and then again you have Devon Aan who comes out and talks about starting one and five. He says we got to make sure that we hold each other accountable as men. We signed the contract to be on this team. It doesn’t matter practice games. We still got to show up and make sure we are giving uh we’re out there giving 100%. Do you see the difference between the things that are said? One man is saying, you know, we got guys showing up to players only meetings late. Guys not showing up to play only meetings. Come on. And Devon is like, we got to hold each other accountable, you know? It’s it’s it’s two different things, right? Two different things. Then, uh, what else? What else? Dez Bryan also comes out and says, “I want to know what part of this he’s going to take accountability for.” Two of three picks today. Technically, two is the third in the NFL with the most interceptions throwing thrown by a quarterback. If you haven’t said this privately first, then in the media, I don’t respect it. And since we’re on the topic of respect, I guarantee a lot of the players don’t respect Tua. Tua pointing fingers and literally has four pointing back at him. if you want to win, put yours in. Which again, he’s not really wrong in that aspect because if if this is something that is being said in the locker room to us coming out and saying like, listen, you know, you guys are late, we got to and it keeps happening, then sure. But is it Mayor Jackson also comes out and says the defense and the roster construction are the primary reasons we are where we are. Tua would need to be consistently elite to overcome the stinky D. Pause. Um, and all of the personnel mistakes. He’s very good at times, mediocre at other times, but not elite. It seems simple enough. And he is 1,000% correct. Barry is 100% correct. He’s very good at times, mediocre at others, but he’s not elite. And I said this in a previous video where if you expect to uh if you expect your quarterback to be perfect all the time, you’re you built your team wrong. And it’s 100% that. 100,000% that. And this is where again this team is a dumpster fire because we are in a situation where we had three years of Chris Greer and the team was built poorly and they went nowhere. So guess what they did? They fired Adam Gase. But they didn’t fire Chris Quer because it was Mike Tannon. We take Mike Tannon and we just move him to a different position. Hey, we’re not firing you. We’re just going to put you in this storage closet. Then we go and get Brian Flores and we’re like, “Hey, listen, Brian, we don’t want to win any games.” And Brian’s like, “I’m a head coach. I understand that. We don’t want to win any games.” So blah blah blah. So then he sells a bunch of pieces, right? So then Chris Greer with like six first round picks, a ton of cap space, yada yada, gets three years, right? In his third year, the team starts one and seven. At that point, I wanted to fire everyone. Guess what? We’re one and five. Want to fire everyone. Very consistent about who I hold accountable if you if you’ve noticed that. So, Chris Greer, right back to the start. You’re at one and seven. The team’s bad. Guess what? They don’t fire Chris Greer. And he starts again. Brings in Mike McDaniel. Right. First year starts off not bad. I think we made the playoffs in 2022. Yeah. Buffalo Bills. 2023. Oh, taking off like a rocket out of hell. 2024 start two and six. Now we’re here at one and five. Do you see the problem? Do you see Do you Do you get the insanity of me rotating and giving you the timeline that Chris Quer has survived for three straight times? Do Do you see what I’m doing here? Do you see it? There’s a common denominator over three separate regimes. That’s the problem. You picking up what I’m putting down? Are you drinking my tea, Kimosabi? Because holy crap. Now, I I’m recording this Sunday night. This will be out 7 a.m. Monday. I have no idea if anyone’s been fired. Um, there hasn’t been any notion, any hint, any iota of anything that anything is going to be done, right? I said yesterday on stream and I said yesterday in a tweet that, hey, the bright side, uh, someone’s going to get fired tomorrow. They could, they could not. I have no idea. Here’s my thing, and again, this team sucks. Like, honestly, Miami Dolphins, Joe Shad put this out. Miami Dolphins are one and five defense uh is ranked 30th in total defense, 28th in scoring defense, 32 in rushing defense, 20th in passing defense. They also faced a decimated offensive line and got one sack. Should have been two if Jaylen Phillips, who is my favorite player, but I’m at that point, uh made the flipping tackle. Like what are you afraid to hit somebody? Um, but with all that being said, going into halftime, the Miami Dolphins were up 13 to9. They held the Chargers to nine points and then your offense didn’t score any points for a whole quarter. It’s like, yes, don’t get me wrong, the defense is to blame, but also offense do something, man. Like, score some flipping points, make some passes. So, I’ll say this for the four millionth time. If I’m the owner, I fire Chris Greer. Uh, did Mike McDaniel lose the locker room? Yes. I think he’s I think he has officially lost the locker room. I think um this is it. And we’re facing a Cleveland Browns team, just so you know. Uh yesterday, Dylan Gabriel completed four passes over 10 yards in the air. Uh he threw the ball 52 times. We will lose to the Cleveland Browns. I’m just going to give you a little bit of a spoiler. We are losing to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. You know why? Because they’re not a good football team. But you know what? We’re worse. So if you want to continue to lose, keep Mike McDaniel as your head coach. But do not trust Chris Greer to get you draft capital and to make the right decisions with this team going forward because that man doesn’t know what he’s doing for the life of him. Three different head coaches, tons of capital, what I say like 800 million. I think I said 21 picks in the first two rounds. And we are right back where we started. in 2019 where we are about to tear it down. And let me get to Tua real quick because um if we’re talking about a dumpster fire of a team, there’s Tua. There is something off with Tua. And I’ve been saying that for the first three weeks. I’ve got a little push back with people saying I don’t think so. And there is something off with Tua. There was something off with Tua last year. And we even noticed it in 2022 when we had that little stretch where we faced uh the 49ers and the Chargers and it’s happening again. He has sailing passes that he normally should make. He is just again he’ll make some throws here and there that are nice, but he’s he’s very inconsistent with his throws. Even the deep pass to Jaylen Wadd yesterday who had to catch the ball like five different times. He just threw the ball up in the air and Joe Wall had to like look back, find it. Like I honestly think and if you go back and watch my draft prospect video in 2020, I talked about if the Dolphins take him, I am terrified of that hip injury because that hip injury is not going to get better. It’s going to be something that is going to pop up and get worse. Well, guess what? His hip injury kept him out of the end of last year and his hip injury had him pop up on the injury report this past week and his mechanics are not good. He’s not driving the ball through his hips. He’s not he doesn’t have good footwork. It’s there’s something off about him. And I said this about Ryan Tanahill week uh his seventh year in so literally the year that we traded him. I said Dolphins should trade Tanahill. Now, at the time, uh, I got push back from Tanahill fans and then I got push back from non-Tahill fans saying, “You think you’re going to get anything for Tanahill?” And then we end up getting a fourth, but we paid a little bit of his contract, whatever. But my whole thought process on Tanahill was that Tanahill is not a bad quarterback. Tanahill needs uh, a change of scenery. He needs a team that isn’t going to depend on him to be the guy and he’ll be successful. Guess what happened? He went to Tennessee. He had Derk Henry. He had a team that wasn’t dependable on him and he was successful. Got the number one seed. You know, obviously didn’t make the Super Bowl, but he was more successful than he was in Miami. I’m in that same boat with Tuong Valoa. I think he’s not gonna have any success with Miami. Um, first and foremost, the team was not built around him correctly. And I I’ll get pushed back to, you know, blew in the face, and I’ve said this on Twitter. I’m done arguing about Tua. I’m not arguing about him anymore. So, you can comment below being like, “You don’t know what you’re talking about, or you can call me a Tua. You can call me a flip-flopper. You can call I’m just I’m just done, you know? I’m going to I’m going to keep doing my thing and give you my thoughts and opinions. I’m going to like comments that are sound mine and give me constructive criticism, but to the people who just want to call me names and stuff, I just you’re talking into an echo chamber and I’m not going to hear it. But Tua is not a bad quarterback. This team was built poorly around Tua. You have a a quarterback who’s injuryprone, who’s not mobile, who needs a run game, and needs not a elite or even perfect, but needs a good offensive line in front of him. What did the Miami Dolphins do? They spent the third least amount on offensive line. They spent the third least amount draft capital on offensive line. They went out and got speedy, short receivers. They got pass rushers and running backs, but you didn’t fortify the offensive line, which is consistently year in and year out the problem. And again, you have an injury-prone, not mobile quarterback. Do you see how they did not build the team properly for him? Watch two go to a team that builds the trenches and watch him be successful. I will bet you he wins a playoff game with his new team because me personally, I think the Dolphins should move off from Tua. I think they should trade him. And if I’m Tua, I think I I I’m demanding a trade this off season. I’m like, I don’t want to come back to this organization. They tried to get Deshawn Watson. You had to deal with the Brian Flores situation. You had to deal with your whole concussion situation. You had to deal with them telling him, you know, you’ll get the ball out quick. Don’t worry about the offensive line. There’s like thing after thing after thing after thing that this guy had to deal with with the Miami Dolphins that if I’m Tua, I’m like, “Trade me. I I would demand a trade. I don’t want to be on the team anymore. Go send me somewhere else.” And again, for me, trading Tua is not about what you can get back, but more about clearing up cap space. And if a team’s like, “Hey, we’ll give you a seventh round for Tua.” Say it’s the Saints, say it’s I don’t know, let me look at quarterback needy teams. you know, whatever quarterback needy team you can think of that would like to have um a backup quarterback. Obviously, it’s going to be expensive, so you might have to pay a little bit of that cap space. Um but you’re looking at more of a southern team, more of a dome team because that’s where he kind of uh is his bread and butter. Um, like like I said, uh, Carolina, Atlanta, Saints, like the NFC South, any of those teams want them for seventh. Here you go. You also could look at cap space um, and see who will have the most cap space next year that could take on something like that. Tennessee will have 113 million. Um, Buccaneers, no, the Buccaneers don’t need them. Buers need to pay their own guy right now. Where’s the Saints? Where are the Saints? Are they at the bottom again? I can’t find the Saints for the life of me. Titans, judges, fish. Oh, Saints 14 million in cap space. Holy crap. They will never get out of capell. The Dolphins right now are at 11 million in cap space. Um, but Jesus, holy moly. But that’s what I’m saying. Again, it’s it’s not about what we could get back. It’s more about um clearing up cap space. Now, I’m going to make a whole video talking about who we should trade at the trade deadline and all this stuff. And be a long list. It’s going to be a long laundry list. Um, but overall, this team is just not good, man. the second half falling apart again, you know, no pass rush, the penalties, the negative plays, the play calling. Like, I’m trying to look at my sheet of paper from yesterday that I stopped taking notes at some point because I was just like, I’m I’m beat down. I don’t feel like taking notes anymore. Um, the penalties, it’s just one thing after another. It’s And again, people are like, why are you why do you want to fire McDaniel? Which again, I want to fire Greer first. But why do you want to fire McDaniel if it was the defense that is the problem? It’s because he’s the head coach. If he was the offense, if I’m sitting up here saying we got to fire Frank Smith, then yes, I can see you sitting there being like, you’re dumb. But he’s the head coach. So all these penalties, the not being prepared, you know, he even said last week about the Panthers game, we weren’t prepared, we weren’t this, we weren’t that. That’s on him. So it It’s just not, man. And then to find out that Steven Ross went down to the field to celebrate the win uh yesterday and then just to sit there and watch them lose, like how do you as an owner sit there and take that, man? You you lose to a quarterback that they passed up on for Tua across the field as a head coach that you’ve tried to get before but didn’t get and you’re going to sit here and not make a move. Again, this is coming out at 7 am. Uh, if he does get fired today, I will make a video and and we’ll talk about it. I have a list of nine GMs I want, nine head coaches I want. I’ve already gave you a little bit of a spoiler that Darren Rizzie is one of them. Um, but this team sucks, man. It It’s a bad team. I talked about it yesterday. They’ll win three games at most. Every little thing about this team is just falling apart bit by bit, and it’s only going to get worse. They beat me down, man. They beat me down. But do you blame me? Two and six last year. We’re one and five right now. And the the the the thing that pisses me off the most is you’re looking around the NFL right now. And teams, you don’t know who’s good or bad. That’s what like really chaps my cheeks right now if I’m being 100% honest with you. Like Arizona uh almost beat Indie. So it’s like Indie, what what going on with you? You have the Ravens who aren’t doing well. You have Kansas City who just beat Detroit. So, is Kansas City all of a sudden good now after losing to the Jaguars? And then the Jaguars um lost to Seattle. So, it’s like wait are the And it’s just like up and if Miami would have just built the team better, played better. You don’t know where they would be right now. They are simple plays away from being a better team. not running into the kicker, not throwing interceptions, um making stops on defense. It’s just like little little things here and there from being 4 in one, but they’re not. And that’s the problem. So, comment below. Let me know what you guys think. I will see you tomorrow or maybe today. Maybe I’ll find you later today if the Dolphins make a move. Tomorrow I will do a film breakdown to kind of again look like Tuo, what are you throwing here and the offensive line and come on, make a move here. And I promised you guys I would show the head smack from Aaron Brewer on the offids. So there’s that. It only can go up from here, right? The bright side is, let me look this up. Let me look before we get out of here. We are currently we’re still fourth in the tank of because Cleveland lost, Baltimore lost, we lost, the Saints lost, and Tennessee lost. So, we’re ahead of the Saints and Tennessee, and then we have Baltimore and Cleveland who we play. So, again, if we lose to Baltimore and Cleveland, we go to the number two pick. So, you kind of hope that the Jets start to win because if the Jets start winning, all of a sudden, Miami Dolphins have the number one over pick and then it gets very enticing to have the number one overall pick. It’s very enticing for GMs and head coaches to want to come here. But I will see you either later today or tomorrow. Like usual, stay classy. Fin top.

  1. Still waiting for Doug to accept that Tua completely sucks and always has. Too many interceptions, too many overthrown and underthrown passes. Arm is far too weak too. The fact is Tua has had one good game in his career and that was years ago. I CAN GUARANTEE YOU IF ALLEN OR MAHOMES WAS THE QB OF THE DOLPHINS WE WOULD NOT HAVE LOST 14 OF THE LAST 15 GAMES TO GOOD TEAMS. THIS IS A FACT!

  2. Hey Doug, can you please explain to me why the need to rebuild and moving on from Tua need to be linked ?
When we drafted Tannehill everyone said we need to protect him to be successful and they didn’t.
The same was said about Tua and they haven’t protected him at all.
If Grier goes and the plan is to build the team better as you’ve said, why would Tua also need to go ? Genuine question, thanks

  3. I don't expect Tua to be great all the time. I expect him to take the team on his back and freakin win! He has incredible talent around him and still can't get it done. And its not all his fault but you have to start somewhere and you may as well start with the guy who has the ball in his hands on every offensive play of the game.

  4. Like i said go listen to to dale earnhardt jr. Interview when he talks about his concussion history. There are long term effects with Coordination, judgment on distances and other factors that are clearly relevant with tua.

  5. If they haven’t fired anyone yet, and based on how the organization handled Tannebaum. I agree they tucked Grier away at the end of the season. If Ross had a hand in hiring McDaniel and likes him, it wouldn’t surprise me Mike comes back. That would be so Dolphins, and this team does things that make no sense. Well that makes no sense.

  6. This team isn’t good enough to get angry about anymore. It doesn’t matter what we do nobody’s gonna get fired. Sometimes you just gotta laugh because you never will see this with any other football team. Just smile and let’s not get worked up because this team is not worth it.

  7. We gave everything to Tua in ‘23 everything and the people upstairs knew there was no way Tua was gonna do anything with less talent. With what they pay him, they can’t get a team like that consistently and so it’s time to let him go.

  8. Tua did come to a bad situation. However; it doesn't matter where he goes. He'd be lucky to be Jimmy G rather then Brees. I personally believe he's like Taylor Heineke. That's being generous.

  9. Is Weaver the problem? He was the D- coordinator for the Ravens last season right? Because there defense is bad this year. So it sounds like they miss him? Perhaps we just suck all around?

  10. You guys ever think Stephen Ross is too old to understand what’s going on? I’m starting to believe it’s not always the head coaches… it’s Chris Grier… I’m starting to believe Chris Grier is the Miami Dolphins curse… he’s the one that’s holding us back on being successful… But I feel like Stephen Ross is not even looking at Chris Grier, he’s more looking at Mike McDaniel then anything… If we fire Mike, he will be hired else where immediately as a offensive coordinator…

  11. It all starts with STEPHEN ROSS .
his decisions from refusing to hire harbaugh so he can coach Michigan , hiring the worst GMs ,
And in this case not firing Grier , and hiring the biggest frauds as head coaches

Grier is next that’s needs to go he’s failed miserably in building a good hell above average team .
McDumbass and the entire coaching staff from the top down .

Tua has regressed massively this year , now how much of that is on tua or every single DC knowing the exact play mcDumbass is calling and knowing exactly where the ball is going

  12. Fire grier fire weaver those are the first two who need to go let mike stay until end of year at least see if some magic happens but no excuse dc says we got stop the run but you get pushed around by 3rd string tackles and run on over 150 yards by practice squad rbs which is crazy 😂😂😂

  13. If i told you once, Ive told you 100x, Tua's an idiot. He says the dumbest things every time he opens his mouth. Doug, Ive been saying this for 6 years! Only now people are realizing how idiotic Tua really is. Also, I told you we shouldve picked Rousseau instead of JP. JP is muscular yes, but hes weak. Rousseau is bigger, stronger, healthier and better. Fins organization is run by clowns, yet another thing ive been saying forever and now others are finally saying this organization is a circus. This team will be trash for years to come. Remember, while you guys were pridicting a 5-2 to 6-1 in the first seven games I said 2-5. Go back and check. Now, 2-5 seems optimistic but Fins should beat the Browns. Should, not would. Hope they dont screw up my prediction but honestly, the best case scenario for this crap team is to lose every remaining game so they get a high pick.

  14. Get rid Of Grier, McDaniel,s put the team up for sale, because we want leadership who wants to win a championship!!!!!!! How about Dan Marino as GM and gruden as coach!!!!!

  15. Under S. Ross this team is hopeless. If we haven't understood this after 25 years, we're also hopeless as fans. How to force Ross to leave ? Stop attending to the HR stadium. Boycott Dolphins products, stop watching games.
Yes, this is extreme, but it seems there's no other way.

  16. Since 2020 our picks have been bad. Hunt, Holland, Paul, Washington, Chop, Phillips, and maybe Gordon this year have been decent enough picks, not great but not terrible players, Tua has shown good moments but has too many bad moments – only Waddle and Achane are truly good players and the rest are awful. Grier has to go.

  17. This isn’t all the teams but look at some of the teams who have rebuilt in the same time we did and what they’ve achieved.

All these teams had less wins than the Dolphins in 2020: Patriots, Bengals, Jags, Texans, Broncos, Eagles, Commanders, Lions, 49ers.

All these teams had less wins than the Dolphins in 2023: Patriots, Colts, Texans, Broncos, Commanders, Packers, Bears, Rams

In 2021 Browns, Bucs, Saints, Rams, Green Bay all won playoff games

In 2024 Texans, Commanders, Lions, Rams all won playoff games

There are teams who have been in a worse position than us and done more in the same time. It’s time to change GM, HC, DC, controlling owner. Ross can stay but let someone else take full reigns

  18. You are 1000 percent right Doug!! We need to get rid of grier and we need a new QB!!!!!and get rid of Mr clown McDaniel,s I am up set like you are! Doug I am a long term fan from 1966!!!!!! We need a durable QB with talent like rathenberger was for the steelers!!!!!!

  19. I told you all before the season started this was a very bad team and now you all see it. Now for the future nobody's losing there job until the end of the season unfortunately. Let's hope for a real GM and future coaching staff.

  20. I'm cool with sitting Tua the rest of the season and put Ewers in to see what happens. Fire Grier, see if we can off load Phillips and Chubb (our defense sucks anyway), and see what offers we can get for Tua. I don't see it getting any better.

  21. Tua is just deflecting attention from his poor performance. He threw 3 ints and had passer rating of 50, and wants to talk about teammates skipping or showing up late to meetings. Again for the 100th time, Herbert should have been our QB. I said it on draft night and still believe he was the better QB. He makes all the throws Tua cannot. He is a better team leader and wins games that Tua can’t. Enough said, Tua needs to go. Would he be the starting QB on any other team? I’m not sure he would, except for maybe the Jets, who are the worst team than us.

  22. I agree that Tua is a weak point. It’s not that Tua has to be perfect, it’s that everything around Tua has to be perfect to make him effective. That’s impossible.

Baker Mayfield is not an elite athlete or have the biggest arm in the league. But he has a lot of moxie – missing top 3 receivers, a RB and some offensive linemen? He can still find a way to win.

Same with other QBs. I don’t know how you draft “that guy”. I think we have a lot of great individual players, but we’re a bad team. I guess we’re playing better – and I’m watching the rookies and young guys. But it’s tough to watch and I always psych myself that we can win by Sunday – only to be devastated at the end.

So – it’s about who we can keep. Tua limits the team – he’s not good enough to rise above his surroundings – and put the team on his back. Tua will not do that for any team because he’s physically limited. His best ability was deadly accuracy – and that appears to be fading. He’s not going to get more durable. Without Tua, Hill and Chubb, we’ll be ok, cap wise. Jaylen Wright will go, and others will go.

McDaniel is a problem – but Tua limits his play calling now. But he has plenty of other problems as well. Grier needs to go – I know we have to use other teams castoffs now to make it through the year, but I don’t want to ride with Strange or even Waller – as good as he is, Darren Waller is not part of the Miami Dolphin future.

I SHOULD have thought this team was going to be shitty early and invest in the new guys growing. That can still happen but I believed they could be more. That’s on me. But I still want to see them improve – that is interesting to me as long as I don’t hope for more.

  23. I can guarantee you that no respectable coach wants to come here unless there's a change, the Miami dolphins is a team for offensive coordinators that want to start their career as head coach, the real problem here is the owner and the people he surrounds himself with because nothing that we can do right now. We haven't done it in the past

  24. Ross should be in a care home, McDaniel should be in an asylum & as for Grier, there isn't a hole big enough to put him in,the man can't draft OL,QB or CB without those positions being either "projects" or "reaches" or player with history of injuries, all of this is mute unless Ross sells up or passes the mantle to his daughter ? (But then what will that achieve other than to prolong the agony)

  25. Tua took absolute responsibilities for his three interceptions and the game turnovers, but honestly with the team that pay other players should be showing up early to those meetings, not skipping them and being late he is clearly frustrated beyond oblivion, and one other players aren’t even trying to get better that would be very hard to deal with especially with that last drive when all the DMV defense had to do was keep From getting close to get a field goal and they fail every time. I don’t blame that quarterback one bit he did enough to win. He is getting too much for his comment, but if they’re the truth, I absolutely understand his anger and frustration

  26. WELLLL….depends how you look at it…..when your 1-4 record all players should be attending these meeting TO IMPROVE YOUR RECORD AND NOT BE A LAUGHING STOCK OF THE NFL……….and how do we know that tua hasn't gone to management or the higher ups and complain about it??…i am no fan of tua…but i am becoming less of fan of this defence period…..they suck…..and i think good for tua….you see this in the nhl all the time that players say stuff to the cameras….depends what type of players you have in the dressing room…some rise to a challenge and some withdraw….like coaching you have a mike tomlin or you have a mike mcdaniel…..different coaching styles that work for some and not others….ramsey didnt like mcdaniel but respects tomlin…why???
AND PS….DO ALL THE PEOPLE THINK WE WOULD BETTER OFF WITH ZACH WILSON AT QB?….IF YOU THINK SO GIVE YOUR HEAD A SHAKE….PLAY EWERS AND SEE IF WE HAVE ANYTHING AND TANK FOR THE DRAFT
