Baseball participation spikes nationwide in Australia as October registrations surge by 22%. By the end of October 2024, there were just under 26,000 registrations, but by the end of October 2025, that number has surpassed 31,500.

  3. I visited Hyderabad, India a few years ago when Australia played against India. During warmups and between innings, the Australia team was doing baseball fielding drills, gloves and all. Might be part of the reason why they have always been known as a top fielding team.
