Flew up for the game Monday with the kids. Despite the god awful performance, it was hard not to still have a great time watching them enjoy it. Randomly got to meet Mark Borowiecki while we ordered food. He was super kind and talked to him for a few minutes before he offered to take a picture with the kids. Glad to see him still doing well and being involved. Still remember the sick feeling I had watching him go down against the flyers years ago. The second picture is the boys being more entertained by the escalators than our team by the end. No end to the pain in sight, but we’ll still be fans for life.

  1. I feel the same way. Every team is going to have ups and downs, the fact remains that I love the team and its players even if they aren’t doing so hot right now.

And I feel like there’s excitement in going through our first ever rebuild. We’re going to be drafting some players with offensive abilities unlike anything the franchise has ever seen. As hard as some preds games are to get through, watching teams like Milwaukee, Soo, Lokomotiv, Michigan state, etc make me really excited for our future.

  2. I will bleed for the Preds. Im angry because I care for them so so so much and want them going in the right direction. We need Trotz (or new GM) to embrace the rebuild. The current build of the team just doesn’t have it. We need to embrace the rebuild while our assets still have a semblance of value left so we are not starting off from ground level.

  3. Love Boro. We need a leader who isn’t afraid to drag his team into a fight and take one for the team.

  4. As a Titans and Preds fan. I still watch every game I can because they need fans to be with them in their low times. Yeah the products are not great. But hopefully better things to come!

  5. When were awful the tickets get cheap enough to take my kids. Wish they’d play more afternoon games, we’d go once a month at least.

  6. On the bright side, once your little ones are a bit older we should hopefully be a better team. So their childhood memories of their hockey team should have more to celebrate!

  7. mark is one of the nicest people I have ever met. recognized him while he was waiting for some pizza and he was super nice and a few other people who he actually knew came up and started chatting him up. I was like this guy knows everyone.

  8. Tennessee fans have a long-standing history with not winning. It’s not bothering us too much.
