Seven in a row | Toyota Game Recap 11/20/2025

Uh let’s get into the highlights and just kind of show you how this one happened. And again, the ABS give up that early goal in this. And it’s on the power play. JT Miller, he knows where he belongs. He goes right in front. New York was prepared for the pressure of the ABS penalty kill. And they move it around perfectly. Fake fake shot. Fake shot to JT Miller on the back door. It’s a quick start for the Rangers. ABS held scoreless until late in the first period. Good news that top line is out there and they are hunting 29 back door. Top line was so good and Nathan McKinnon going to the dirty area. The backhand pass out to Gerard. He doesn’t wait. He goes to the crease to the back door, the back post and we got a 1-1 game. All right, we’re off to the second period. First five minutes of the second period. Rangers with only six shots so far. This is number seven. 6′ 9 ft tall Adam Edstrom. He gets it to go. 6 foot 6’2. Adam Edstrom. Not a ton of ice time, but Sam Carrick with a little feather pass and Edstrom just opens the blade and goes roof. Wedgewood no chance on that one. Well, the Abs fight right back. Nathan McKinnon with a little booaloo. And there’s Kale Mar with the reverse Dominique Wilkins. The reverse Dominique Wilkins. Would that just be a dunk? That’s a dunk. But what a job by Mar. You could see him open up. What do we call that? The serpent. All right. So, Colorado would get an early power play in the third period. And this was nuts. It was back and forth, back and forth until this. Brock Nelson has options and he chooses wisely. He chose violence on Igor Shurkin’s glove. little point goals in three straight. He’s starting to heat up and you can see he is pumped up. We might be speaking with Brock Nelson just in a bit. Under 10 minutes to go. Back on the power play. JT Miller again. JT Miller in his office. He’s so good at these little tips, much like Gabe Landisk. The New York power play was dangerous in their opportunities and Fox to Miller stuck into the night. Exactly 30 seconds later, Kale Mar is going to absolutely hammer. Watch this. You can hear it from the moon. The dog cleans it up. Well, Nate picks this up. Skates the stick, but it was a beautiful breakin by the ABS. They were patient in the neutral zone. Allowed them to enter the zone cleanly. And McKinnon still going to the dirty areas. And you can see when Nate celebrates, he knows it’s a big goal. 90 seconds to go. Rangers going to pull Shurk in. Kale Mar say hello to Malefic. Second of the night. Jack Drury tremendous job being in the lanes. A jackack knows Paneran is off to the side there, but Drury clips his skate right to Mar. Well, Ross Colton would add another empty netter. The stash lives on. Since he’s had the stash, he’s in Fuego. Rangers two for two on the power play here tonight, but just not enough mustard here tonight taking on the Avalanche. We bring in Mark Reichfra and Mark Moer
