overall thoughts on the game today? Um, you know, obviously a tough one for us. We we uh we didn’t have it physically. Uh I thought they played great, actually. So, first off, I’d give them tons of credit. They were ready to play. They they played fast. They played hard. They’re on top of us all over the ice. Back check, uh for check, honestly, the whole thing. I thought we weren’t uh we didn’t have our best. Uh sometimes you don’t have your best, you got to make sure mentally though, you’re dialed in, and we weren’t dialed in enough. Um some of this a growing thing for our team. Like we got a lot of guys that have never been through the NHL schedule and so there’s going to be moments where you know they have to kind of learn as they go and and part of it learning that when you don’t have your best physically you still got to play good mentally. Uh Bird two more goals tonight. Just thoughts on his points in his last six games. Thoughts on what he’s meant and his impact. No, I think he’s played great all year. I think he’s done it right all year. I think he’s led by example. Um the way that he’s approached the game um even from day one, you know, he’s he’s he’s balanced when to make a play, when to live another day. He’s he’s always been a guy who’s hard at the net. Um, you know, he’s been a real favorite of mine as a player for a long time and uh he continues to be. Just how do you move on from this one and get ready for Colorado? You move on. I mean, this this league like you got to, you know, it’s at the end of the day, it counts as one loss in the in the column. Uh uh very disappointed that we we uh we let Sod down. That was probably the biggest disappointment of the night. But it’s still one loss whether it’s, you know, 3-2 or whatever 93, whatever it was, it’s still one loss. We got to uh kind of take a breath tomorrow. We got a day off. and then play the best team in the league on Sunday.
