3 trade destinations for Anthony Davis 🤔

Three landing spots for Anthony Davis when the Mavs decide they want to trade him. First off, AD won’t get the same return as, say, Luca Donuch should have gotten the Mavericks. The 32-year-old big man has had a history of injuries and his reliability. Plus, the fact that he’ll need a contract extension this summer makes paying up real value a tough pill to swallow. How about a hometown reunion with the Chicago Bulls? Something around Kobe White, Zack Collins, Patrick Williams, and two first round picks. One of those being to take on Williams’ contract. Josh, Giddy, and AD could potentially make a fun duo. They’d be a playoff team with potential to punch above weight because of AD’s sheer talent. A very Bulls type trade. Next, the Detroit Pistons. I know Pistons fans don’t want to break up a good thing, and it’s likely that they stay patient. But hear me out. Tobias Harris, Jaden Ivy, and Caris Levert for AD. The Mavs get a young, intriguing guard in Ivy, and the Pistons retain most of their young core while adding AD in a wideopen Eastern Conference that could put Detroit over the top. How about the Atlanta Hawks? Kristophs, Porzingis, Asa Newell, and Luke Canard along with one first round pick for AD. Again, another Eastern Conference team in the middle that could make a talent play. A trio of Trey Young, Jaylen Johnson, and AD could be deadly if healthy is almost all we’ve ever heard about AD recently. If the Mavs want to get anything real for him, he has to come back and play to get his value all the way back

  43. Davis out, Irving out – what do other teams get for their return? they'll get the same unplayable Davis and unplayable Irving as Mavs have, if Mavs don't just salary dump them and build from ground 0 they'll have to keep these 2 and just wait it out
