  1. I’m really becoming more and more of a fan of Winston’s with each passing week. He’s a DAWG and plays with a swagger that can be appreciated.

    Also, the Kid Rock slander was a bonus in my book!

  5. How long has it been since we’ve had young players we could actually root for. Probably since 2019, the last time we had a good rookie class

  7. So glad Winston is fully recovered and is getting defensive starts and playing full games on defense. At this rate, it feels like he’ll get plenty of reps as a rookie, and we’ll quickly forget that he missed the first third of the season.

    Drafting someone who is injured is always a bit risky, I guess, but there’s some real value to be found as long as you’re a team that’s in a position to not really care about immediate contributions.

    It’s only been a couple games, but so far, so good.

  8. I’m a Penn State fan and going into last season, I think most people had him as the best player/prospect on the team over Carter. Carter would have passed him no matter what happened with Winston, but we really had one fall in our lap this time.

  9. I’m glad others are pumped about this kid, if he didn’t have the injury he probably would have been drafted near the end of the 1st early 2nd round. Love his play at PSU and so excited for him to continue to develop and be a centerpiece to this new defense.
