Worth giving up “top dollar”?

  1. A generational wideout who plays or played with Minnesota paired with an elite qb in New England? Nahhh that would never happen. That’s just crazy talk.

  2. Vikings should give him to us since they’re in a rebuild. I wonder if they’d take the same offer they made to us for our pick last year.

  3. If the Vikes really do decide to blow it up, I’m not opposed to the Pats throwing whatever they have to at Minnesota to get JJ. Our offense would be insane

  4. OP the same guy who would be mad at a report that the pats weren’t willing to give 2 firsts for him lol

  5. Yes, but unless he’s super active in lobbying to come here they’re not moving him.

  6. Imagine being so bad at quarterback you make Justin Jefferson’s stats look legitimately mediocre.

  7. Need to convince him to show up to camp in a hot air balloon and attempt to wear an old spray painted helmet to help drive the cost down. Just remind him to not actually go insane….

  8. It wouldn’t happen. But if it did, he’s one of a very short list of people that I’d think it’s worth it.

Of course, he’s got a huge contract, that could create issues in a couple of years, but still…

  9. I’d give 2 1sts for him in a heartbeat.

Next year is the year to push our chips in, paying big for a WR1 or top edge would do wonders for this team

  10. I know this is probably against the grain, but I wouldn’t be willing to give up nearly enough for the Vikings to accept. We’ve won a lot of games this year, but are still a rebuilding team with lots of needs.

  11. I’ve heard most Super Bowl winners forget where they stored their rings. You’re either winning or getting paid a lot. He’s not going anywhere. Look at the eagles receiving room, still not happy.

  12. I’ll probably get downvoted but I don’t that much money tied up in a WR when we have this many holes to fill. Look at what happens to teams who give out those contracts.

  13. I think there’s no chance JJ will be available next season. If the Vikings flop again, maybe he’ll be available the season after

  14. Assuming our window starts next year he’d be a huge difference maker and worth trading a 1st+ for

  15. That’d be funny if he somehow came to NE, we’d have not only JJ, but the person JJ replaced (Diggs).

  16. I understand the situation he’s in but I don’t like how he’s given up imo. That being said JJ with Maye’s deep ball is making me feel some type of way

  17. Imagine a starting line up with Jefferson and Boutte out wide, and Diggs in the slot? Add in Henry at TE and who’s gonna stop that pass attack?

  18. Can you imagine if the Pats could somehow swing a trade for JJ? Diggs, who was traded to Buffalo and that pick used to draft JJ, now on the same team? Criminally juicy. Vikings heads exploding.
