Jets vs. Capitals | NHL Highlights | November 26, 2025

Winnipeg squad that is 12 and nine tied for
fifth in the central division at the moment with the Chicago Blackhawks. We’re off and running.
Frederick Leuier and West Maui are the referees. Dan Kelly and Julian Fornier have the lines
and early offside against the Jets. Stanley blocks out the sun by the way. Fantastic job by
Sandee closing right pass there. Comry a better save on Sunonny Milan. Chance right in front of
the net. Here he comes right side of the screen. There’s the pass across and the backand just can’t
get over that right pad. Sunonny Milano. Great pass by Sand Dean. I thought he Cavs have it set.
Sandine working wide to the front door. Deflection from Mcichael. That was denied. The Jets stacking
up right at their defensive blue line. You can do that if you got guys back. Taves on the lead pass
there. Good glove save. Lindren with the stop on Baron uh the other night. Here’s that last chance.
Baron with a he shanked that shot with Bollier in the lane to make the ripoff. Chicken is on side.
Hatchets one on goal. That’s easy pickings. Chely. No angle. Centering pass. A little bit too hot
to handle for the dangerous Kyle Connor. Back on the caps with Tom Wilson. Wilson feeds. Carlson
fires. He scores. John Carlson with a bullet. his six of the season. Great entry by the Caps.
Look at Tom Wilson’s power. A little bit of a broken play there, but the pass still gets through
the stick on the back checker. And there’s the rip past the screen goender into the top corner. Not
much they could do on that play. Laierre tied up along the wall. Hendrickx spots. Sherman waits
for the screen to develop. Comry shuffled over nicely. Perfetti with plenty of get up and go.
Twoon two the other way. Snap shot gloved held there long enough by Lindren. Oilier to the
point. Work it around for Farravari. Caps get that high cycle going. Farravari’s drive blocked.
Carlson on lows and Comry eats that one up in the midsection. 21 for 22 at the goal here in the
first by John Carlson this Thanksgiving Eve. 15 games going on around the NHL slate. Carlson
unloads here. Pad save Comry. He had plenty of company in the crease. Play a defense first style
sort of great chance in front of the net. There he is knocking over Comry with a little help from
Dlo and he just spun around. Milano scoop it out wide for Sandine to the front. Deflection
drive. Frank on a timing play from Leierre. Rister score. Guess who check let
it fly and the light comes on again. Here comes the shot just walking in through a
screen that cross traffic caused Comry to miss that puck and they try to block it but it didn’t
help out their goalender and that is barred down. I guess when you’re hot, you’re hot. Chan, as
hot as they come in the NHL. Alexkin cruising through center. He’ll dump it in with 512
remaining in the first. And now is tied with Kale McCar in goals. Joe, that’s how good
he’s been. That’s serious company. Rarified air, that’s for sure. Jets have it twoon
two. Back the other way. Flowy on the crisscross with eye of follow. Snap shot there
by Lindren. He wasn’t sure of the rebound. No, he didn’t know where it was or exactly right. It
looked like it hit his stick and then stuck to his pad and he was trying to find it. He finally
did with the help of the Dman. Connor gets to the middle. Snap shot there and Linger made a really
good stop. Sort of first on it. Cross ice picks up Carlson. Depp touch to the front pad save.
Conry rebounds loose as Proise was denied at the doorstep. deep slot. Connor bounced on him
and Roy says thanks to Cle. Set piece here on the carum looking for Mcichael. Bad angle. Bad
save for Comry. Stanley relieving Ovuchkin to the puck on the go. Need a Ryder getting to the
outside. Leave it on back for a Miller rocket. 35 ticks remain. Salammonson with a screen
developing. Nice pass. Shley a better move. One more chance at the diving. Lingren made
a sparkler on Connor and gets the whistle. Missed too many of these. Great passing play.
And there’s the shot at the end of the line. I thought they just about overpassed. Solomonsson’s
looked very sharp on the blue line playing in his first NHL game. Great wheel and deal there.
And then you see Connor trying to shuffle that puck underneath the goalender’s pads right
through him there. And the puck was still alive. Villier wins the draw for Washington. Turnover
here in tight. Valardi stashes it home. They won the draw cleanly and you’ve got to make
a play. You can’t turn it over there because Bilier stepped in for Mcichael and it looked like
a mismatch to this tic-tac-toe. Here’s Bilier. Big win. Caps get Carlson trying to go D to D and
up to the wing and there you see the ripoff. Not enough oop behind that pass there.
There’s the pass ripped off. They go tick tac and it’s into the back of the net. A
good intercept there. Real nice play all around by on the outside. Shley with 40 seconds
of man advantage time. Long ways from the goal. Roll it on through Valardi. There’s Kyle K.
Great positioning by the penalty kill unit. Really keeping the box and then the diamond
when they rotate it back to Morrisy. Morsy fires deflection score the hands in front of
Valardi again. We’ll see if this is a high stick or not. Here is Valardi in front of the
net. There’s the shot. There’s the tap. And I think that’s what the Capitals coaching staff
is exactly looking at. Is that deemed higher than the crossbar when that puck hit the blade
of his stick or not? It was very close to bounce through the five hole. as we’re reviewing
the play to see if the puck was high stick. So you don’t even have to coaches challenge
Joe. I’m not sure if he if they challenged or not. I don’t think they did. Here’s the
call quickly. Has been confirmed. We have a good goal. Leu and Maui have seen enough with
Lowry. Lowry fanned on the wrist there. bothered all the way there on the back check by Prous.
Lenin’s going to reel this in and cover up for Washington. Leonard a backhand delivery cross
ice. Check with a drive. Glove save by Comry on top of the crease. Sort of right up the gut.
Lets it go off the blocker of Comry. By the way, that might be one of the nicest backhand
passes I have seen this season off the stick of Leonard. It was a beauty with
pace and distance from board to board. Czech bullet pass to Roy who waits. Bump it. Chin
fires and that’s plucked out of the air by Comry. After Carlson and Chicken gave Washington the
lead, Valardi has a pair for the visiting Jets. Centering pass. Roy keeps it alive.
Sings one at the goal. Score. A downtown turnaround. Here’s the good keyman by Roy. Throws it across.
The puck’s bouncy and look at him catch it. And look at as it goes high then low because he
got it in the cup of his curve and Dylan Stro a big screen in front and cross traffic. Look at
the puck rolling there. Kob’s the best. Whether it’s a one-time, a snapshot, or this old-fashioned
wrist that goes high, low, and over the shoulder, uncontested out of his own end. Tape to tape on
the pass for Valardi. Then to Shikley right on in. Big save, Charlie Lindren. Rolling and as he gets
it to his backand once a puck’s rolling like that, very difficult to get any type of power unless
you’re Alex Svetkin. He’s the only guy that does it on rolling pucks. Shley tries to dig trying to
elevate the spare no expense there. Pretty stick handling for Connor fires. Glove save the bar
for sure. Short side. Look at it. Looked like he had some daylight there. But you see that
quick miss. Carlson off the zigzag through center sends in Stro. Then Boilier curl and drag.
Bad save. Comry. That’s a sweet curl and drag. got around. Shows you how much I can
be a medical man. I’ve seen Dow three mornings in a row and I thought he was just
doing great. Not enough though get to get back in the lineup. On man rush Mcichel
sprinting in to the backhand. Let’s go six and now seven points. His last or eight
points now his last seven. Here he is. A nifty deak. Comry bit on the early. He was at
the top of the paint which allowed him to wrap that backhand completely around his left side.
The Dman bearing down, coming back, trying to get a piece of him. No chance for Dylan Sandberg
to catch Conor Mcichel. Actually was a twoon one turn. This one at even strength. Valardi gets to
the interior. Finds Morrisy cross ice. Connor with a rip. Glove save. Lindren, he went to the splits.
Austin Matthews and Matthew Ny back in the lineup. They’ve been horrible on the road. One and six
coming into tonight’s action against Columbus. Proteus bad angle shut down there by Comry
Messikov looks to the front. That’s off the skates and wide of Moresy. Mcichel twoon-one with
Ovetkin. Mcichael closes. Glove save Comry. Morgan Geeky of the Boston Bruins recorded 103 miles per
hour. He’s shooting in like crazy this season and he’s scoring. Goal scoring leadership in tight.
Put away. Shley has made it a onegoal game. Off the draw, they win the draw. They get it
back. They move it around and Shaley on the doorstep off a rebound of Charlie Lindren. And
Charlie could do. Here’s a little wiggle at the blue line. Gets to the middle. A little shot
that gets deflected. Doesn’t get to the net, but lands right onto the stick of Shipley.
Just a quick looking shot. Notice in front of the net you have Kyle Connor who I think
that was deflected by. And the deflection causes problem cuz it doesn’t get to the
net. It stalls right there. And 9 seconds left in this one. Full speed ahead for
Connor on the wing for Shley. Shley. Curling drag. Works to the front. Stick
save. Lindman at the horn. Just enough.
