watching some New Jersey Devils hockey at the
Rock and we’re underway. Thanks for joining us on this Wednesday. Seanthaller hits the red line,
sends it down. At last, we saw Seanthaler. He was pounding on Lucas Raymond of the St. Louis of the
Detroit Red Wings. St. Louis Blues Bush Nevich can’t get around Seanthaler. Bouncing puck to the
blue line. It’s held in by Jordan Kyu. Cut off by Hamilton. Hamilton to Brat. Grat can’t escape
thanks to Bush Nevich, but he finds Hamilton who brings it into the Devil zone for their first
opportunity offensively. Sharp angle shot stick to side. Rebound and a save. It’s loose. Meer over
skated off the original shot by the captain Niko Heir from the Heir line. That’s what you want.
You want the lines to roll and put pressure on. There’s the opportunity after the Hamilton shot on
net by Niko Heir. Rebound comes right out to him. Puck sits there in the blue paint paint and Teimo
Meyer tries to Oh my, look at that save. What a great overhead angle. Meer brat in the corner
as the Devil’s off to a good start. Kenny. Yeah, Bennington didn’t know where that puck was. Looked
like it might have been behind him, but stays out. Mercer quick shot. Bennington makes the save.
Missed that Detroit game. They were defending a lot. Puck bounced off the Fowlers’s stick.
Otherwise, he might have had a shot on goal. Joseph back up top. Shot gets deflected between
the circles, centering pass to Fowler. Blasts one and scores from the near circle. Gam Fowler
and the Blues get off to a good start. They’re up one nothing in the first two and 1/2 minutes
and the results is what they wanted from a pretty sharp angle. But he wires this. There’s a little
traffic in front. You see White maybe crossing over here. kind of gets in the sightelines and
Mayu the assists on the Fowler goal. Mayu’s first point of the season minus 14 in 10 games. Mercer
centering pass and the shot goes wide by Lemo. Oh, here’s a turnover created. They get it out.
Mayu forced back because of Palopla that steals it away looking for Mercer but the stick
gets in the way on the pass from D’vorski. Centering pass goes out to Ditzell and a big
save by Bennington. Glass to Pot. Good chance there. Another one right through the scene
looking for Dawson Mercer. D’Vorski does a good job for the Blues. They definitely
had an excellent game in versus Detroit. And there’s a partial breakaway Brad off the
post. What a quick release. Great pass by Douggee Hamilton. Come back down to Jacob Marstrom as
the Devils chase a onegoal deficit. This is a set play right off the face off. They win the
draw. Brat circles in the neutral zone. Gets in behind the Blues defense. What a great stretch
pass. Brat with Meyer around Fowler. Collects back behind the net. Meyer centering pass goes
out to Glen Dennetting with a shot and a save by Bennington. Rebound by Snugarude. Shen can’t
clear. Snugarude across the crest of center ice. Cuts to the right wing around Lamo but then lost
the puck thanks to Glen Denning. LaMo settles it down and finds Nemitz. Nez drops it off for Glen
Denning to Nason with a shot. Save. Rebound was Juicy in the slot but the Blues able to clear to
the near boards. as both teams go up and down and here comes the captain. Sets a fire with a
blast and a save by Bennington. Taken away by Brat. Can’t find Nico. Gets it back. Climbs the
wall back to the point. Hamilton. He shovels a shot. Knuck right onto the stick and team Meyer
who scores. Team Meer evens the game at one. as this one pays dividends. Let’s take a look at

in Jersey. And Brad gets it back to Hamilton. He just flicks that puck quickly toward the net
and cars bounces off a body of the St. Louis blue defenseman right to Teemo Meer. Holloway some
room. Rips a shot off the glove of Marstrom. Brits first to get there. Can’t clear. Loose Keith.
Groberg finds Faulk. Faulk some room. Drives towards the net and a save by Marstrom. Rebound.
Another save by Marstrom. Flips it up into the air looking for Bush Nevage. Goes to Thomas. His
centering pass goes off a stick. Bush Nevage kicks it back to Thomas up top for Fowler. Fowler.
Thomas. Thomas at the circle. Thomas waits, fires a shot, and scores, which is 11 seconds to go on
the power play and the Blues retake the lead. It’s two to one. middle creep to the middle off the
half wall. Ballard does a good job walking the line of watch up here. Want to see somebody come
up a little more there because he can rip it and he makes the Devils pay here. A little disjointed
there on that PK. You got to press him a little bit. Meer off the post. He gets his own rebound.
Puts it back behind the net. And with 433, the fourth goal for Thomas from Fowler
and Bush Nevich at 1437. So and almost got rewarded there. But again, you just
got to keep things simple. Don’t change again their process. I like what we’ve seen so
far. Carter shot, save, rebound. N behind the net. Tries to stop it far side. Centering
pass. Carter save. Rebound kicks wide. Seeer outlets it back out. Nason helps it along
bouncing puck. Here’s Teemo with an opportunity and a save and the rebound goes wide and out of
the zone. The Blues come with Shen pass. Sean Fer intercepted by Neighbors. Neighbors centering
pass doesn’t connect quite with Thomas but finds Folk with a shot and a save by Marstrom. So
the game was over. Little four arm shiver I think on Lucas Raymond if I’m not mistaken. Like
to see that part from him as well. Sharp angle shot like anchor man. Whatever you put on the
screen you’re going to read, right? You’re not supposed to. No. Why Brown saved by Bennington. A
nice face off win there. Oh boy. The carum there off the glass with a nice rim around. Yeah.
From the neutral zone. Now we got a threeon two. Joseph Walker. Walker with a shot save by
Marstrom. Little tic-tac-toe passing by the Blues, but Marshmall strong. Sunquist still with it in
the corner. back. Hands it back behind the net. Racing forward is Joseph. Back to Sunquist. Back
to Joseph. The edge of the trapezoid. Swooping it is Walker, but stick check back into the corner.
Mayu back behind the net all the way up to the far wall. Cross ice pass goes to Mayu. Creeps up.
Shot chested down by Marstrom and he holds on. Off the draw. Bush Nevich gets it out to the
slot where Kyu one times it into the glove of March. Allowing Glen Denning to steer it
up the far wall for N. Got Snugarude on him. Loses the puck to Snugarude in the
slot. Drops it back off for Sudter with a shot in the pad. Save by Marstrom. Pot
forces it back behind the net. But it’s Joseph that gets there first. Walker chops
at it. Sunquist. He’s got a possibility of a break. Devil’s trying to get back.
Sunquist back and saved by Marstrom. Let’s take a look at this replay brought to you

Hamilton can’t control. He comes across maybe a little over aggressive. You got to be careful
there. But Sunquist walks in and look at our Cinei Gitriz here down. Yeah. Comes back helping
Hamilton out. Omire the goal scorer. Nico, Meyer, Hughes, Brad. Brad drives towards the net, centers
to Hughes, out to Meyer with a shot save. Rebound, they score. The captain, Nicoer, puts
in the rebound and we are tied at two. I got to tell you, Coach Ke when this power play
started showed some frustration on some personnel, but this time it was still everything to the
perimeter. They couldn’t quite penetrate the front of the net. A few block shots and they
stayed patient and it starts with a nice pass there from Luke Hughes to teamm. Good save there
by Bennington. But look at the captain. Calm, cool, and collected in front and gets the
rebound. Pins it up against the wall. Back out to the point. Needs stick handles around Shen.
Nemed. Sharp angle saved by Bennington. Out to Shen who knocks it back out to center. Brat. Brat
across the blue line. Slings it over the net. Meer with a big hit back behind the net as he takes
count Fowler. But here come the Blues and Faulk. He comes with a head of steam with a shot and a
save by Marstrom. I’m not sure he knew where the puck was before it landed. Here’s Heir Broberg
to deal with. Back out to the point. Hamilton slings a shot on and a glove save by Bennington.
Sends it back out to the point for Kyu. Reaches for it. Hits the red line. Knocked away by Nemits.
Hard pass goes over Grits. Recollects. Shot pass. Save by Bennington. Told the one in Philly in
2012 in overtime. Empty netter was considered a short-handed goal. So maybe we got to include
postseason. Yes, we don’t include postseason. Big save. Snugaroon with two shots. And Marstrom
strong. Hesitation fake shot to move to the middle by Kyu. There’s one good stop there. I think
that one driving through Mercer in the corner. Mercer takes it away. And here comes Nico. He
sure would Mercer. Possible twoon-one. Nico saved by Bennington. It was on Snug Rude. And then
Devils go the other way with the quick snapshot. Big possession for the Devils. Brat between
the circles. Brat between the legs. Gets it back. He is so good. Looking for an angle.
Hamilton. Shot off the glove of Inington and wide. Nett still out there for the doubles. He’s
got a head of steam. Brings it in. Nemits waits for his mates. Here’s Heir back behind the
net. Goes through Thomas. gets it back up to the scores. Jim Nez again put a pitchfork in
this one. Devils win it three to two at OT. And the Devils had a lot of puck possession
probably the last 2 and 1/2 minutes of this overtime. And eventually they wear the
Blues down. Nico Heir goes behind the net. Looks like he almost loses it here, but he
stays with it. Thomas gets on the wrong side of him and he finds Nemits coming down on the
left side. He opens up. He’s a right-handed shooter. No chance for Bennington. And
the Devils win it. What a game. And the captain again had a big game. That is
