We are set to go and finally back home after 
nine of 12 on the road. Off we go tonight at Nationwide with the Jackets and the Maple Leafs. 
It was an overtime thriller on Thursday of last week. Adam Fantelli providing the game-winning 
goal. That doesn’t happen very often. Yeah, only twice this year and that was one of them. 
Have a 14game point streak for Knander. Right in front of Chance. Knander rob by Jack Grees. Big 
scramble. Now the whistle sounds with his focus and keep an eye on Greavves series. He’s got to 
turn his head and find that puck from below the goal line which is a hard play for a goalender and 
then the scramble. He stays strong. See that head on him. He focus there. He’s got that quick left 
skate and that can’t be easy trying to collect that puck as it’s just kind of sliding around. Key 
pieces veterans back going back to last week when they got Scott Lton back veteran center iceman. 
That’ll all help. head shots it off the crossbar. Wall still has no idea where that puck was of the 
puck off the iron. He was still kind of wondering where it went. There’s the shot against the grain 
by Kent Johnson. You see Wald seems like he’s ducking out of the way, but let’s take a look. Oh, 
he’s just trying to get that elbow up on it. Whoa, that’s right by the air, isn’t it? Bounces off 
the stick of Monahan. lifted up in the air and what a keeping by Warky keeping him alive. Van 
Hilly Baronov a chance and it goes high to the glass and out of play. It just is amazing here 
as that puck goes in the air. You see how far he was outside of the line and then he just kind 
of swipes at it. And what does that turn into? A great a scoring opportunity. He’s up. He’s in 
position just in case it doesn’t go his way, but gets his hands together there. And brother is 
here. Some friends as well. Busy day for travel too, I’m sure. Oh yeah, good point. Here comes 
Adam Vanilli cutting, shooting. Wol makes the stop and is able to secure it. Taken, but here’s 
Vantilly with the shot. And as McCabe comes across, there’s a little extra right after that. 
One down to Austin Matthews. Two times 60 goal score. Matthews twisting and turning. Matthews 
to the interior. Doy for Matthews. Shooting. It’s loose in behind. It went off the crossbar and 
no watching him defend, check, back check and then this is all it takes. No time. You can see 
the Blue Jackets player right on top of him. He didn’t. He barely had that puck on his stick and 
it was off and it’s a whip. You can see too late for Greavves. And then Oh yeah, that’s the guy to 
give it to if you want your first NHL assist. Zack Winsky from Finelli. Don Lton closing in, passing 
to the front and that trickles wide to the post. through. Matthews gets jostled. Losing the handle 
was Fabro. That’ll be rocketed past Morgan Riley. Now the foot races on Cole Cinger. Comes sprinting 
in. Stops. Turns. Goes to Monan. It’s hands. Denied by Wool. Here it comes. Rolling puck and 
Riley’s going one way. Here goes Cinger with speed. Makes a really good play here. Gets down to 
the top of the circles before he looks for anyone. They know they dodge one there as the Blue Jackets 
got out with a good matchup there. Tired players. Puck possession. That was a huge block that went 
off of Miles Wood. Eastston Cowan driving toward the net. Denied by Greavves. This puck comes 
back to Aman Larson. Try to pump it through. That’ll be blocked by Vantilly. Johnson. 
Johnson’s second effort. Little too far ahead for Veron Kong. Punches the player by Wall. 
Turned over by Cow. And here’s Vantilly. Load and raw by Wall. This one comes to the Blue Jackets 
off a missed puck. Nice job by Veronov. It goes the Blue Jackets’s wave, but Ginov accepting it. 
Trading places. Ginov with the wister. Blocked by Wall. Ginov to Mate. Fired down to Warensky. 
Centered in front after Ree. Can he bury a wall able to cover off another flurry and a chance for 
Zacken Ree in tight? Joseph Wall. Another save. Robov jams one to center for Veronov. Tried the 
lateral pass. Well, Veronov was lucky that gate got closed at the Maple Leaf bench. Here’s a 
pass to Warki. Fires. He scores. Zack Warki breaks the ice. Oh, Blue Jackets here. Provs 
that puck. It was in the air. Nice work there by Veronov to take the hit and then follow 
up the play. And here he comes. He finds the right man and Morinski coming downhill. His 
head up, no movement in his body whatsoever. just snaps that puck and finally beats 
Joseph the play to see if it was offside. Here comes the announcement. After coach’s 
challenge, it was determined that the play was offside. We have no goal and he fight 
his way through gets twisted around. Comes up with the puck, works it back to Benwis. 
Benwis quickly to McCay shooting that one. That ricochet’s on goal was stopped by 
Gre had to be alert to make that save. Goenders playing extremely well when called 
upon. See the traffic there? That’s Austin Matthews. There’s a bounce there, but Jack 
Greavves is so good at tracking pucks. Morgan Riley cutting on into Matthews. Curls with it. 
Austin Matthews, the Maple Leafs captain. Sax just looking for a tip. It was redirected 
off the glass. Loose in front. Great stop by Gre. He’s going to go to the box. And here 
was the last save by Greavves right there. one here in October 6-3 at the 
overtime thriller last week in Toronto. Much different style tonight. Here’s a steal by 
Tvaris. Leads to a twoon one. Tvaris. Fire. Save made by Greavves. And defense. And here’s 
a play right here as Smith just tries to get that puck out of the zone. Then loses his 
edge. That’s a bad feeling. But look at the play here by Jack Greavves. Tiden up the wall. 
Picked off by Tamaris. That’ll be turned over. Hustling in is Warenski. Behind his back, Ken 
Johnson. The feed to Ventilian. Hands and the save is made by Wall. The play to the middle 
there. He gets it to him. You can see Winsky loses that puck a little bit. He’s got Morgan 
Riley. Police top defenseman playing him. So he gets it back to Kent Johnson and that puck 
rattles around. But Van Tilly as he gets it popped up. Tina Cob now powers it behind the 
goal. Diego to Fabro. Fabro lets that one go. was tipped and stopped by wall. Aston Ree in 
front of the net. White man coming in. Here’s two guys in front. What does that enable? Not 
only that, but look and Johnson in traffic. Banked it to Veronov. Twisting forward for 
Johnson crisscrossing with Vantilly. Busting right. Vanilli and a save made by Wall. 
Vantilly in behind. Put it out in front and skated away by Tamaris. Dirty goal here. 
And how about Fanty? This won’t be dirty. Well, it’ll be dirty in one way if he tucks that 
in. Cylinger second effort and he will toss it out of the zone. Maybe chases Luca Penelli. 
Penelli pulls it right in. Another great stop on Monahan. Open this game up. Penelli here. 
He’s got good speed. He’s going to stay on his backand. A nice job just getting it to the middle. 
Yeah, he’s right. It’s going to be a bounce or a dirt down to the goal line. Polaris is there to 
accept it. Try to pass. That’s read beautifully by Monahan. Barges out and on the feet. Here 
comes Coyle. It’s a threeon-one short-handed boy over the net. The pass across and Wall makes 
a great save. Wall came across. Great opportunity here right away activating five forwards. 
Knander can’t play D there. He’s gambling. Take a look at this. Bon gets it and as 
he shot, Cowan got a piece of his stick. a wall. That little bit of time it took to 
set up Larson is so dangerous with that shot. Another toss stop trying to refer blocked by 
Prov and jammed just wide. Trickles off the boards to Riley. Intercept by Prov. Fabro. 
Jackets need a clear. Fabro is a touch back behind his own goal. The fans love it. Another 
huge kill for Columbus to keep it scoreless. And you feel the urgency right now in the 
building. 0. Who’s going to get the first goal in this one? Here we go. Here comes Cole 
Cinder closing suiting. Save made by Wool. Keep it on the right side of your screen if we 
can. There he comes in the picture. Royal leans on Nice. Pop loose and emerging is 
trying to ship it back to the top. Skated away by Miles Wood. It’s a threeon two for 
Columbus. Swung over to Warensky. by score. Put that on the board, Zack 
Lorenki. And it’s one- nothing. Fire the can and wave the flags here. Max 
Sty tries to make the play off the wall, but Zack Winsky just gets in his way. And then 
Zack Winsky gets up ice and Miles Wood goes, “Get it to Winsky.” Just lays it out there. 
No offside on this play. Zack scored in the second period. It came back and this one Tinov 
Aston Ree back to Fabro miss fires and now some numbers here for Toronto with Nick Wall. Wall 
over to Robertson. Rips that one on goal. A save made by Greavves. John Tavaris pivot ori got 
picked. Tavvaris starts behind the goal. Now he gets belted by Pearl scores. Blue Steeler the 
pass and they score the reverse pass to Easton Cowan and the Maple Leafs tie the game up at one 
by the Maple Leaf right there just happened. You can hear Heyhe hey. And then you want to win 
below the goal line and the Toronto Maple Leaf too. How about Knander that quick stick lift. 
Keep an eye on this stick lift of of Knander. It’s quick and then it’s right to Cow and 
he knew where he was going with that puck. Tough angle shot past Jack Gre and 
we are even again. That’s amazing, right? You go all that time without a goal, 
you get two in a couple minutes. Right in front and wall. Two great stops. You see they’re just 
funneling pucks to the middle of the ice. There he is. He’s got to pick it up on his backhand. 
Look at that thing roll. And this is the one right there as Wall catches it. You have to 
tip your hat to wall if you’re Miles Wood. it up. 317 to go in regulation time. Guarding in 
is Austin Matthews tow drag and he can’t finish. Scooped up by Cowan. It’s Achuck leaving it 
center ice and it’s Kent Johnson in over the line. Johnson guarded by Aman Larson in front of 
Vantilli. Stopped by Wall. Oliver Aman Larson. They circulate at the top. Nice heads off. Aman 
Larson the inside for Knander. Knander right to the front. It’s headed for Matthews. Knander 
a chance to win it and he does. He scores. William Knander in overtime and the Maple 
Leafs win it two to one. And the Blue Jackets, he was trying to catch them and then as the line 
change there with Matthews. This is going to be a broken play. You see that puck goes right 
back to him and Jeff Gre has to respect that little fake move over to Austin Matthews. Keep 
an eye on it right here. It’s a broken play. Goes right back to Knander. Fake across. You can 
see Jeff Gre has to respect that. And just the confidence and poise here of Knander. Fake. Jet 
bites and then he goes back against the grain.
