Better window here than what the Flames have been presented. third straight power play trying to come back in this period this game has carried on and then that was a point blank look from Ross that stayed out you got to park it and move on and like I said for the Flames it’s one shift mentality but you got to manage the puck better just far too many turnovers in that first period and a just not connected hockey well it could present itself for a back to Cooerov up top to Carile his up wide. A great save again by Gully to Rob Yordstrand a second time. Flames trying to lean into this kill. Have another minute left. Radish gets it back. One-time off the crossbar and out. James down deep. Knees off. Fans out to cover him. That’s two onto Hegel over Kuch off the bar again and the rebound went to Hegel up the board as Gonalves tracks back to the puck. Off the stick of Farabby onto Paul and into the Calgary zone. Cancelled his shot blocked. Gets it back. falling out in front. They score. Stumbled and Paul puts it in the net. Five nothing Tampa. That’s a stumble. Yeah. Watch Paul going through the crease right there. There’s the leg. I think this is going to get overturned because Kulie never has a chance to reset here. Paul goes to the blue paint, clips the leg of Kulie. Easy for Nick Ball and the Tampa Bay Lightning. On the play due to goender interference to cancel looking for Paul backhander. What a stop and another save by Kie and that puck stays out. Radish a blast. Kie’s got it. What a sequence by that man. Camera work there from Francis. Should have known something was up when I was down. You’re a good sport, John. Oh, was that was lightning off down low against shot was blocked. What a shot block there by McKenzie Wager who continues to do that all season long. And another shot blocked keeps that puck away from Devin Culie. Bounces right to Joel Farby. He’s got some company. Look at the hustle from Weaguer trying to make it up, but he fans away. But then Fairby scores. Short-handed goal breaks the Vaselki shut out and the Flames are on the board to start the third. After that, Calgary’s going to get the puck back and then Fairy’s coming up and he’s just going to throw this on the net. It’s a tough angle, but hey, good things happen to shoot the puck and this beats Vasillesi right on the glove side. You can see I’m sure this is one Vasili would want back. First in four years. See if the planes can build on that. Coronado finds Cry. A two stops by Vasilelesi. First on Cry. Then Robs Ubero all the way around in the corner for Cadry. But Castu broke it up. Liber turned it over. Bouncing puck in front. Spinning shot. Baseli robs Cadri who got enough of it. Off the stick. Coronado back to it. He’ll wrap it around. Kubo trying to get into that corner. Comes out with the puck. Centers Cornado. H shot stopped. Vaselki. Got it up in a hurry, but Vasalefki able to make the save. Cav trying to muscle his way in around Nick Paul. Could not. Pass two on Gans. Flying in. Gordstrand. Curl. Stopped by the left and the rebound as well from Devin Culie. Joel Farby once again continues to play some very good hockey for the planes. Puck up ice. Two on one. Tampa Cuch in swings across back to Coochov. He scores. Finishes off a dazzling twoon one. No chance for Kie the brown guy you want to have in the pocket right off the face. This is set play. You see a lot of teams do that. You win it and you fly the zone. Cucharov flies the zone, sneaks past the defense, and Weaguer all alone to defend the twoon-one. And Weaguer just narrowly misses from breaking up that two-on-one. Watch hits the stick of Weaguer as he just gets a piece of it, but not enough. It was all Tampa early and it pace them to another win. Five straight wins for the Tampa Bay Lightning. A 5-1 final tonight over the Flames.

Brandon Hagel and Charle-Edouard D’Astous each scored in the first two minutes and the Tampa Bay Lightning never relinquished the lead, defeating the Calgary Flames 5-1 at Benchmark International Arena.
