The Lakers clinched their NBA Cup group with a big win over the Clippers. Does the purple and gold have the best big three in the league right now? LeBron getting better every single game. Year 23, Lakers three and 0 with LeBron in the lineup. Clippers have lost 11 of their last 13 games. Currently 13th in the Western Conference. Is it time to hit the panic button? And the Bucks have lost five straight games and are 11th in the East. Are the Greek freaks days in Milwaukee numbered? Mr. B, you were out in Milwaukee recently. Couldn’t get one rebound. It hurt. Lost $192. But it is what it did. He won money. He did. Like he put money up. Swaggy won with underdog. $5 is a lot of money deal in this economy. All right. That go a long way. How much you I could have got 19. I could have got 192 want to get a rebound. Question. Yeah. Please. No, I’m not talking to you. Oh, yes, sir. Sir, what’s the point of playing to try to win 19? Like what’s the point of playing the thrill of victory? That’s not for five. He put five $5 like you better off saving your $5. Yeah. Like you’re better off pocketing your $5. Okay. You know, dudes get smoked for $5. You got to do it. So you’re better off pocketing them. That’s what I’m saying. You got to do it crazy. You got to bet the 37 picks. They about to say it was two picks. It was two picks. Austin Reeves double double. Harden 32.5 points and assist. Harden did what he needed to do. Also re 25 and nine. Joe, you take your kids to Phiney’s and that that 192 gone. That’s two two burgers, two fries, and two alpha juices. Maning out. Organic though. Organic. But if you can’t watch this show live with us on YouTube, we have audio version on Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your Oh, in and out. The Lakers and Clippers have been going opposite directions to start this season with the purple and gold exceeding expectations as the second best team in the West and the Clippers uncction showing their age going two and 10 in the last 12 games with Kawhai Alfred the bulk of those with an ankle injury. Battle of LA added a new chapter Tuesday night as both teams met for the first time this season in NBA Cup group play with both looking to stay undefeated to come one step closer to advancing to the knockout round. Let’s take a look at the highlights if we can, please. Luga Donic came out on fire, dropping 24 points in the first frame, including five threes. Slim Slovenian Genus Jesus put up 32 in the first half, finished with 43 points, 13 assists, nine rebounds. It was his fifth 40-point game this season. Luca had four 40-point games total last season. Papadi Lemon Austin Reeves added 31 points and nine rebounds. Reeds has scored 20 or more points in 13 of 14 games this season. and LeBron Raymon James senior scored 16 of his 25 points in the second half along with six boards and six dimes. Lakers big three combined for 99 of the team’s 135 points. So the Lakers entered the game as one of the worst three-point shooting teams in the league but went 13 to 29 in this one good for 45% from deep. All five Clippers starters scored in double figures led by James Harden who was fresh off setting the Clips single season scoring record with 55 against the Hornets Saturday. The beard debuted his new hard and 10s, put up 29 points, nine assists, and five boards. Chris Dunn added a season high 19 points before getting ejected late in the fourth quarter. We’ll have more on that later. And Kawhi Leonard put up 19 as well in 28 minutes of action. It was Kawhi’s second straight game is returning from a right ankle and foot sprain. So, the game was close through the first three quarters, but the Lakers outscored the Clippers 37-25 in the final frame with Bronny coming through with the game-seeiling assist to Drew Timmy, who got his first bucket as a member of the Purple and Gold. But look at that pass right there. Oh my goodness, look at I will say Lakers have the best NBA Cup court. Hey yo, visually stimulating. All right, nice too. So Lakers got their fifth straight win, third straight in NBA Cup play to clinch their group in a spot in the knockout round. So again, we watched that game on playback, but I’ll put it up to the rest of the couch. What were the biggest takeaways from the Lakers NBA Cup group clinching win over the Clippers? Let’s start with Lakers, Larry, the most liquored out person in the arena. Currently, I wasn’t listening to what you saying. What you saying? Biggest takeaways from the Lakers clinching their NBA Cup group with the win over the Clippers. They played well. Um, hard to criticize. Got to give him some praise. Um, I was wrong about LeBron being able to fit in right away. 3 and 0. Um, first two games, like he said, slow. I think he talks about um it being his training camp and uh finding a way to fit in with the group. also being able to figure out how to keep his groove going while LeBron is out there. I still think that the strength of schedule has gave them a lot of leeway to get their momentum going the way that it is now. They haven’t really played anybody, but they’ve taken advantage of these games to create some momentum and team chemistry. Guys are playing with confidence. Um, it’s a lot of good things happening for the Lakers. A lot of good things happen for LA. You know, Dodgers win. Rams winning. [ __ ] I’m on hinge. I’m winning. [ __ ] we’re in LA. [ __ ] I’m with LA. I’m Lake Larry today. I ain’t tripping. [ __ ] I’m with it. I like it for now. Back winning on Hinge. For now. Okay. For for now. Easy schedule. What’s the strength of schedule like on Hinge right now? Better than the Lakers? I’m undefeated right now. Undefeated. Six and0. In the clutch. In the clutch. Lakers. Lakers. Six and0 this season. Leading the league. But when you look at this Lakers squad, 13 of four. How you feel about this new crew, LeBron coming back, them advancing in the NBA Cup to the knockout round with a chance to be the only team in NBA history with two NBA Cup championships. So, you didn’t have to throw that [ __ ] in there. They do. I’m a man of fact principle. All right. No. to be where they are at this juncture without saying one of their better players. Um Luca missing a couple games, Austin Reeves holding it down while he was out. Um 13 and four. Uh yeah, trending up. Uh LeBron getting his his feet up under him. Um, I like him and I was just telling Rashad a minute ago. I like him in a screening role like set the back screen and slip makes it makes the defense react because they they they have to respect that screen and you can see the um the Clippers messed it up. He got a layup. Um so yeah, so you put him in a different role, it’s a different look for them. Um they were playing a certain way and like I we didn’t well I didn’t think that there would have been an an adjustment period because he did play that last year. He knows those guys tendencies. Um he looks at himself as a smart basketball player. Uh as does most people that’s played on the team with him. Um so yeah, it’s it was easy transition in my eyes and for them to keep it going. Uh yeah, it’s in this NBA, man. Once you have chemistry and start to put it together, that leads to win streaks. Um so we’ll see if they continue, man. But they doing they supposed to right now. They balling. So yeah, they are. Let’s shift over to this side. Mr. B, Brandon Jennings. Yeah. Carrying country club member. Biggest takeaways from the Lakers win over the Clippers to clinch their NBA Cup group. Uh, I don’t think it’s just the win. I just think overall everything since when Braun was down, Luca was down, Austin Reeves, he was carrying the weight for them. Um, I mean, JJ Reic, man, you know, put, you know, everybody’s playing together. They look like they’re having fun. Uh, you know, Braun coming back, Braun’s going to be who he is. Um, and it’s just exciting to see the way LA is playing right now. They playing exciting. Uh, they’re playing together and everybody’s just stepping up like, so it’s, like I said, LA’s in a good place right now. Everybody’s winning. Lakers are I think 57 and4 under JJ Reic when leading games after the third quarter. So you think it’s a product of him holding guys accountable? Yes. Like like direct correlation like him not deviating like making just like last year how he was on guys? Same thing. They just have to get used to it. Got um Yeah. And then Austin Reese, he’s just, you know, he’s really going to that number. It’s confidence, man. And he picked this league once. It was those it was those games in the beginning. Yeah. I think Yeah. Yeah. But but I think that that stands true for a lot of guys once you figure this like your position right once you figure out what has been successful for you and your confidence grows in that like that’s and you figure out your peers like what okay I do this better than this person or I don’t do so so once you figure that part out I think in the league like yeah you will have success I believe then I think that’s where he is in his growth and his maturation. Yeah. Had that 51 piece earlier in the season. Also dropped 40 this season. 41. Plus one. Yeah, for sure. I like them. Um I think N I think they got like some little OKC team bonding chemistry. I think that’s what making all of them play better. Like you see, you know, they having fun out there on the court. Even with Marcus Smart making shots in the corner. um he being able to do him and you know nobody’s looking over their shoulders. Nobody is is it just look like they’re jelling and that brings confidence and and you when you out there you know when you know your teammates got your back. You not about to you know be looked at a certain way. You don’t feel comfortable taking a certain shot. The pressure you got to make every shot you shoot. I feel like you know that will help LeBron too. you know, coming back uh when guys just getting along with it. Austin had a open layup and passed it out to LeBron and was excited that, you know, he he hit the shot like it’s he passed up a good shot for I don’t know if that’s a better shot, but it was just another good shot. But they just doing things like that. You know, Luca took over the first half. could have had. He might he might get close to 81 one of these days if they just let him go. I thought he was going to have 30 in the first quarter, but you know, but n they all they just overall just playing well, jelling. Hopefully they keep this going. It’s going to be hard to beat for sure. Let me ask you a Let me ask you a question. That bench a little shaky. So we already been like where So like your team, right, that you played on the Wizards like you had three guys average 20. And we used to look at that and be like one of y’all not gonna like we got to shut one of y’all water off tonight. Do you think that like that’s not a thing anymore? Huh? Like [ __ ] just look at that [ __ ] like 27 he going to get it. 25 he going to get it. Like that’s right for the most part. They pass too though. Mhm. They could pass. I like that this turkey day cuz y’all are goblin. Y’all are gobling. Y’all are gobbling this Laker [ __ ] I love the [ __ ] That’s a little [ __ ] A little shaky though. I say that Chip City. God damn it. I told y’all it’s Chip City. I said it from the beginning. Easy killer. Chip. We sex. Oh no. I said the [ __ ] I said that [ __ ] a little in two. They only had 13 points left in the bench. Not three, but two. No, I hear you. No, I’m just saying just the best. But wait, first of all, first of all, I don’t even know why you over there speaking about our our team. I’m just saying when we came to the Bucks, no one showed up. It was like the bubble in there. Yeah. We beat on y’all. Was Jiannis went? Yes. He was out there. We thought, we think there was an Anna Doopo available. You know what I mean? Listen, Joe. Joe, what did I say at the beginning of the season? This is TW last year, 2026. This is the year after the trade went down in February. Hey, listen. LA itself since co has been on fire. We’ve done one some type of championship every year. I know Dodgers got it this year, but 2026 that’s cuz that’s when we win ours. Dodgers back to every year. We done put boots ass to the rest of the world. Mhm. Yeah. That’s us. Yeah. No, for sure. So would you say during a pandemic? So you gonna throw the Rams in there too there? Yeah, the Rams. Yeah, they won there. Dodgers won. What? We won 2023. What do we win in 2023? Cuz we about to back. What do we win in 2023? What do we win, G? The cup. The NBA cup. Bam. The hardest NBA Cup. Bam. In NBA history to that point. Bam. You win something. That [ __ ] a little. You know what I mean? Yeah. No, no, no. No. No. The [ __ ] don’t need to shoot. No. Now they they don’t need to shoot. They can come in there, drink a little water, come on there, play a little defense. Look at Jackson Hayes out there. He’s like DeAndre A right now, but he cool. I like I like Jackson. Rob’s catching on. Yeah, man. Like our shooting percentage is bad because a lot of people who don’t need to be chucking it up there, they be chucking it up there. And it’s hard. I thought you I thought that’s what you want. So you can Not everybody, but which one is it? Jake, do you want them to shoot it when they be aggressive when they come shoot it or you don’t want them to shoot it? Which one is it? I want them to have a zen when they shoot it. Meaning I want them when they do shoot it. It need to go in. Okay. That’s the only shoot. No. You can’t give them that type. That’s why the [ __ ] is like that. You’re shooting scared, right? Your man got your man played one minute and got one shot up. Who? Bronnie. Yeah, you. Yeah. Hey, we weren’t going to talk about the selfish one, too. That was the one you supposed to say, but he’s thinking about, you know what? This is the This is the cup. It’s about points right now. going to chuck this [ __ ] like okay Ronnie the game stealing assist or drew Tim about say for him to have an assist and a shot attempt in one minute that was that was impressive right one minute work his first one minute work he got one up he been out there for longer and only got two up so I said we look good looking we look good when we look good when we ain’t good we out there doing some [ __ ] n look good what I’m saying is four times Nice. Like, think about some of the shots we do take as a team. Yeah, them shots. It be some step back. Like, I’ll take that. No, no, that’s what I’m saying. It’d be some step back, you know. But it’s only what? Not even not even college street NBA 3. It’s NBA three damn near the half court most of their threes. But it’s only two people doing it, right? Austin Reeves and Luca. Okay. But you got to live. You got to let them be able to do that. Yeah. You got to live. Tell them don’t do that. Hey girl, you don’t really like the Austin. I like that Austin Reeves erratic three. Did you like cuz your coach say don’t shoot that? I never had coaches said that. Yes, you did. I was on the team with you. Who said don’t shoot? Who told me don’t shoot at the end when you were number nine? No, I told myself don’t shoot [ __ ] I couldn’t make [ __ ] The coach taco game. The coach didn’t tell me to have had to tell me nothing. Let’s talk food for a second though. Is the Lakers really good or were the Clippers really that bad? Both. I don’t know. We’re second. Hey, both things can exist. I’ve watched the game. You playing a 40y old, you playing a 37y old, another 37y old, a 36y old, a 35y old. What is Tyrone Lou doing? Better than the record indicator. What the [ __ ] is he doing? I mean, we call giving him giving you what you hear what Kawas say. Oh, we’re going to address that. Very frustrated with the lack of where are the guys that know who we facing, what we doing, teams we need to be holding up on. Lakers hit shots though. Lakers hit shots last night. They hit big shots as they tend to do. Luca was hot. Okay. At what point you turn the water off? You can’t. You can’t, bro. Uh, they’ve been trying to turn that water off since 2020. Ain’t going to turn Luca water off. Clippers been trying to turn that water Hawaii’s been trying to turn that water off when he had Paul George with him. Kawhai’s hands still dirty from planting trees and [ __ ] Okay. And he know he got he got to go put the sanitizer on his hand. Like you can’t just come back from planting trees to come out here and guard Luca. I know that’s some [ __ ] you can just really do, [ __ ] You got to go out there and stretch a little bit. You look a little stiff. Oh man, James look good out there. James, he got his stride. He got his stride. But the rest of them, like I said before, show he’s trying. The rest of them look crazy. James is trying. Move at the same pace. James and Lucas slowly. James Harden is trying. He is doing his part. Absolutely. Lakers are number one in free throws, right? I believe so. They do a great job like three years in a row. Being aggressive being aggressive getting to the line. Three years in a row. They know how to foul. drawing fouls under the the rule book when Clippers was good last year. Kind of like the same team, but Kawawaii wasn’t there. Uh Norm Pal, who’s now with the Miami Heat, playing at an all-star level, start traded for Bradley Bill and Bradley Bill ain’t there. Oh, signed Bradley Bill after he was bought out. No, they didn’t trade for Bradley Bill. He did not trace Norman Palance to find Norman Pal, you It seems like sometimes too and and it kind of happened with um Luca early in the year not having LeBron and stuff like that. The team James wins with is the talent is not here is usually mediocre and they can just they’re specialists and I’m trying to think if if there’s too much talent he has to defer so much from getting all these guys the ball on how he plays the game. Hey hold Hey, who was Kobe Brown? They act. What talent you speak of? Two Kobe. Uh Kawhi Leonard. Okay, that’s Collins. He don’t play rally. Collins shoot. He a 34 minutes last night. But before that, go look at some of Yeah. Okay. Like who else? He ain’t been playing like that. Yeah. He need put the Nick Batoon in. Just leave him in. Batum in 37. Just leave him. Yeah. Yeah. But that’s who James just sit in that corner. Shoot. I mean Don is out there. Don’s out there. He don’t suit who the team with Kin. No, I think I think I think Kawhai I think him and Kawhai seem they ain’t the issue. No, I think get alone with nobody probably looking like man. No, you know Kawhai is more of a I I I’m iso type of player, right? And how James is he’s going to hold it, throw it, y’all just shoot it. I just don’t care. And I think him and the Kawawaii that that one-on-one player, I think they’re is just not they’re not in sync. Well, I might be like, “Give me the ball. It’s my shit.” He’s probably like, “Give me the ball. It’s my shit.” And what you just said makes sense because if you think about James and his training playing on teams with secondary players, not secondary. Oh, go. Other guys is on the team that can play like good guys. No, guys equal like equal or good or like secondary is Nick Baton. Like he said, no, somebody’s that’s utility. He’s a ut those are utility guys. on his somebody that can actually somebody’s on his that need Yeah. that need the ball and I need to do my never worked. Chris Paul never worked and it takes the ball out of his hand. That’s why he always said I’m the system. So if he can show us 55, he can show us his little stride that he’s getting without Kawhai. Mhm. What he did it’s like like he’s saying those guys are just I know I need you over there. I need you over here. Rebound that [ __ ] I make lobby at the rim Ken Capel or that team. It ain’t it ain’t a winning formula to for championship [ __ ] but it’s a winning formula. Get us to the playoffs to get us a winning record. We can get some momentum. But we bring Kawawaii back and we’re like, well Kawhai, what 19? You need the ball. And it’s like Kawhi’s like massage first game, 19 second. I need to massage that thing. I need my rhythm. I’m saying like he’s a rhythm. Get out though. When he was with Kaw with Paul, they was number one. A rhythm. James and Chris Paul. Paul Paul can catch and shoot when he wants to. And those are two point guard. Those are two point guard talking about talking about being out there days off. That’s the thing. I said he’s like Paul can do both here and there. He can’t Paul George can do both here and there. Paul George can catch and shoot. Paul George, if you throw it to him, he can go into No, no. I’m talking about George Paul. I mean Paul George. Paul George. No, that’s two point guards. Yeah. Yeah. like he needs like Paul George it’s no different than but than uh with Braun and some of his shooting his shooting guards they need a certain type of secondary player right you know the ball stopper or Karan right when we trying and Karan’s like okay here let me go ahead and and it kind of freezes everything that’s what happens with them too he needs more of the Clay Thompson a guy who can do both like I can catch you can I can catch and shoot or if you If the ball comes to me, I can get it. I can draw some up for you. You need a bucket, I can go get one. It’s always them. But I think Yeah. Yeah. I think at this stage, I don’t think James needs to be worried about quad at all because he’s so in and out. But that’s on the court, but they’re so in and out and I’m getting my it’s like it’s like, bro, now you got like I got him on the roll. So, but but I I hear you. Yes. But he’s such a dominant figure when the ball when he’s out there cuz he’s really good. Mhm. Mh. Like it ain’t like he’ll slouch when he’s out there. He’s really good. So when the ball come his way, you can’t expect him to swing it to to the next guy. No, the ball come his way. Listen, I got I we lost the last 12 games. I did like we got to go somewhere. We got some But he ain’t been playing though. What’s the determining factor would have been out when he’s on the floor? What should be the determining factor to sway the game in the Clippers favor? What should be? His defense. Okay. To me has been non-existent. To me is in the last Three years. Yeah. He can’t move no more. Think about what I’m saying though. Think about what we’re saying. Think about what I’m saying. They put him on Luca. No, they can’t move him. Yeah. Fried chicken. But But who’s stopping Luca? Yeah. Nobody’s stopping. But what what what am I saying? What am I saying specifically? If Kawhi Leonard standard when he’s on the court, it’s not just offense where we’re depending on you to get us a bucket. He’s a twotime NBA defensive player of the year. Man, we need you to at least get some stops for us. Slow him down. Don’t stop him. I ain’t saying turn his water off, man. Make that [ __ ] slow down a little bit. Turn it to Turn it to cool. He just been [ __ ] red hot. Turn it to cool. He got 20. What? He had 32 in the first half. Bro, what are we doing? And Chris done. What you here for? Yeah, he he been 40. I’m just saying. Y’all got to look at it like this. the most active, strong, athletic, long arms, shooting guard that can defend Jayen Brown, right? Yeah. It took him everything to keep Luca from averaging 30. That’s elite. Anything under that is going to get their ass torch at this point. And he picked him up full core. But that’s what I’m saying. So you’re talking about if it took all of them work, those type of guys all of that. So the fact that you you were older with with your knees and your thigh problems. Yeah. You you nerdy in the first quarter. Hey, is he is he handicap with the lineup now that we’re saying we’re only depending on him for offense? No, no, no, no, no, no. We’re giving him a pass on defense and you only giving us 19. We got James out here. James was trying last night on defense. I give I give him I give him some credit. He was trying. James to me. John Collins. whatever his name. He He one of them bigs that once you learned how to shoot a little bit, you settle way too much. And he was out there Brook Lopez [ __ ] threes pump making step back threes. Oh, just go to the Hey, broke Brook Lopez. That’s the NBA, man. But we talking about what the Clippers depend on him to be third. That’s what that’s that’s what the problem is. You say that it’s like damn, we depending on these guys to help James win. We’ve been in and out of the lineup. as well, but Zubac and then when they played through Zubac last year, him and James was the focal point. They played better last year when James was one and Zubac was two. When Kawhai was out, they played better. But now you insert Kawhai full time. Well, not full time, but Zubac is going to listen, they’re going to defer. The guys can say what they want to. They can be You’re going to defer to Kawhai when he’s out there. That’s just what it is. Just a natural instinct to defer to this guy when he’s out because he’s looked at as that. Just a natural reaction though to move on, man. Who? I think the Clippers need to move on. Move some just move. Five years ago, Nick. It’s over. That was five years ago. That Yeah, it’s too much in and out. I love it though. I love that the Clippers is losing, right? I’m I’m going just be honest with you. Um I the fact that they were they had them ranked two preseason that they did second in who the [ __ ] is they the media whoever ranks whoever ranks they had them they had this team ranked second way on paper not even not even on paper not even on paper this hell no with a healthy koal with the team as suited. They had them ranked second, but they looked good last year. I don’t give a [ __ ] how they even in the playoffs. They old I told a April old, you know, they didn’t have 56 every game. They had 56. They had us eight creep in 56. Did not have the Lakers. Not Not in the West. The NBA. You coming in the way they had the Clippers number two out the whole NBA. No way. You’re not coming after Bill gonna be on revenge tour. That’s disgusting. With just Bradley Bill move up to two. Um Lopez came John Collins and then John Collins came but you lost and then they had healthy Kawhai. They they figured this team was about to be obvious it’s not a healthy Kawhai and they looking shift back to the Lakers which was uh the winning team in this game. So LeBron looked a little rusty his first two games of year 23 backtoback wins against the Jazz at the Crib and in Salt Lake City. So after the Lakers win Sunday, Bronn had this to say about his first week back in action. [ __ ] like this week was kind of like my training camp for me, you know, to be honest. You know, I didn’t get an opportunity to practice with the guys at all, you know, throughout camp, throughout the preseason. So, you know, I’m still working my way back. So, we had to actually zoom in on that video cuz Braun was in the tower. They didn’t even allow him to put his draws on before doing that. Damn, but Bron has increased his scoring output in each his first three games. Uh, and so far in those three games, he’s now averaging 18 points, nine assists, five rebounds, while shooting 53% from the field. So, after catching some criticism for being a minus 13 on the court in the Lakers first two wins, Braun was a plus 18 in the win over the Clippers. But Gil, I’ll start with you. What are your impressions of LeBron after his first three games in year 23? That’s funny. Anything. Plus minus. They went to the [ __ ] plus minus, man. We win two games. He goes to the plus and minus to talk about the say nothing like if we just say all right okay where we going to rank him as uh 41 year olds that ever played in his NBA very high one okay that that should be that that right there should be able to stop all criticism where do you rank him for his age in all of NBA history there’s five 5700 ever where do you rank him for being 41 or 40 or 30 or 39 that wherever you rank him at, criticize it to whoever’s behind him or in front of him because at this point, listen, we get it. You don’t like them, right? But the fact that this is what what it sounds like with that’s crazy with a great It’s amazing. I didn’t know we criticized the greats like this. Plus, I thought we just looked the other way. Like I didn’t know. I didn’t know we This is what we did to plus minus. got to go all the way. I just thought, man, look at 41. Listen, even if he averaged, if he gave us 10 to 12, we like, hey, that’s good. [ __ ] that’s that’s good. But the fact that he’s out there actually contributing and is an actual factor is very different. 1895 seems like a pretty good statline for a soon to be 18 say again 1895. Didn’t even have training camp and and trained for the last what month and a half. And what are they considering with the sky? End the season with like 29. And they consider a big three. I couldn’t do I couldn’t do this at 29. I’m just being honest, man. Like we just got to be realistic of how we judge and judging people. Even if you don’t like somebody like you still got to be at least some type of fair. [ __ ] me. You can’t just say I’m going to judge this 41y old choice that my best player who was 25. It’s easy for be man these people to hate. They just going No, it’s easy. It’s easy for them to hate. No, it’s not easy for them to hate to be honest. Opra being honest with a [ __ ] over the honest the the totality of what we’re talking about. It’s eas ain’t doing like it’s easy for him to say that [ __ ] then to be honest like ain’t nobody else did what he’s doing. But think about but think about the hate you. That means you see he scored and they won. You start looking for [ __ ] now. That’s what I’m saying. It’s not easy. You got to say, “Uh, we got we got Why is he on the court? Perfect.” Yeah. And that’s that’s all. You just you’re going through just picking out what you want so you can talk about it. That’s that’s when you come on. Well, let’s shift. It’s amazing. Let’s doing his role in the Lakers big three. Tender. Yeah. That tender fall off the bump. Start hating on that [ __ ] too. All right. They did. It’s not even your place. You don’t own the restaurant. Your restaurant. So, it don’t take away from my tenderism. That don’t mean to me. [ __ ] I just said I owned it. Unless your ass down like Uncle Ben. But LeBron has made the Lakers big three hole. But we got to give a shout out to other crew. Uh the exciting whites. Luka playing at an MVP level. Reeves on pace to make his first All-Star game. Slim Slovenian Jesus 35 points, nine assists, nine rebounds. Papadi Lemon 28, seven assists, and six rebounds. When you look at this Lakers big three, how dangerous is this crew right now? I think we 30 We 30 minutes in on the Lakers. 30 minutes straight. We talked Clippers for a good nine and a half minutes on it was part of But it was a shift. It was part of the Lakers talk. It was a shift though. Go ahead. Cuz they play our favorite city. [ __ ] I mean, you all we’ve been for the intro. It was just for the intro. I do [ __ ] just for the intro. I’m visiting the whole game. Just for the intro. There was only three games last night. Trying to get all my [ __ ] off in the early beginning. It was a very light NBA Cup schedule. Go ahead. I’m I’m good with it. Thanks, G. We appreciate you. What was the question? Uh, how dangerous is this Lakers big three in your opinion? I mean, it’s a team thing. I think they team they team they team dangerous. I I turned it off once a [ __ ] got a certain amount of points. I knew I was going to have to come in here and listen to some [ __ ] I’m like, damn. really high level basketball. He was hoping. Oh. Oh, I was I was about to screenshot the [ __ ] in the group chat. I said, “Damn, that [ __ ] went to 25 and then 31.” I said, “Godamn, man. It’s going to be a hard day tomorrow.” No, but they look they look they look the way y’all predicted them to look, you know? Just hope they sustain it. I I’m hoping they sustain long as they stay healthy. You know where hope works at though, okay? You know, you got to believe. They got to keep the winning. You better keep that winning. Let me know how the Lakers do. All right. So, not this year, man. I’m going to go on a limb here and I’m going to say it. This is probably the best big three in regular season in the in the National Basketball Association. Ever. Ever. Ever. I think this three is better than the KD. KD. The KD Clay. Yeah. Damn. Why? No. No. No. So that do that. Don’t do that. Tell us why. No, don’t do that though. Don’t do that. Tell us why. What was KD&M? 25 26. Where would you put That’s like saying so you No, don’t do that. Cuz look, you got stuff. I just want to say Okay. Okay. Don’t do that. We got No, we got LeBron and we got We got LeBron. Oh, LeBron. That was a young Katie. Just run with it. Does that feel engagement? Yeah, we just we just push it in there. We just push it in there. We we were doing a great job engagement farming on the Lakers previous to that comment. No, I’m just saying. I mean I mean they’re not better than them at that, you know, at their height. But I mean, they’re a dangerous three. The reason I compare them because those three didn’t they played in different realms, right? So they can jump in and out. They can play ice ball. They can play catch and shoot. They can play drive and kick. They can play pick and roll, right? They can play two-man game, three-man game with each other. Like, so that was the reason that that KD, Curry, Clay was so good because they all they didn’t affect each other’s game. Um, and that’s that’s rare. A lot of general managers don’t understand how to put teams together, and they think names match versus the skill set itself. We’ve seen some lose their job as a result of that. So, with the with this three, it’s kind of like the same. You you have a scores, playmakers, shooters, right? You got dive, duck in guys, you got fast break guys. So, you know, if Luca’s playing the point and he wants to do the pick and roll, you know, LeBron can spot up or back door slash, right? So, you got all the elements. So, I think the three is going to be dangerous once they get in the sink. So, we asked the chat, “Do the Lakers have the best big three in the NBA?” 67% of the chat, nonbiased from all over the world, said yes, they do. All right, one last thing in this game and then we’ll move on to the Clippers side of things just a little bit more. But there was a minor scuffle late in the fourth quarter involving Luca Donic and Chris Dunn. Let’s take a look at the video. This was Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. Dime for a buggy to shove. Luca, don’t move. Slovenian Jesus crashing the ground in front of LeBron. Oh, Luca stepped him. D shoved the ball and Luc Jackson Hayes push him. Look at Luka. D appeared to slap Hayes on the cheek. Hey, give an attack for the push. Double giving two texts. Let’s take another look. Now look at Luka right here. Watch this. Yeah, you already got pushed. Let me go ahead get mine in. Go ahead. Get it in. Get it in. Get it in. This be me when a [ __ ] ain’t looking. This is high level. Watch out. More of a correct. Watch out. I ain’t lie. So after the game, Luke had this to say about the scuffle and Hayes handling his lightweight. Yeah. I mean, everybody got each other’s back on this team. uh you know uh so I appreciate him. Uh I I’ll pay his his fine for sure. Uh but that just show what kind of team we are. I’ll pay the fine for show. For sure. For sure. He got it. Seeing that Bugatti he had I thought his English would be a little bit better by now. I’m just being I be I’ll be like, “Yo, what the [ __ ] is going on? Who you around?” Sound like Mick over there. Slobbering this [ __ ] saliva [ __ ] Juicy mouth. Sloberus. Juicy mouth. They said you had to wet his mouth on the teeth. That’s crazy. Smoke. That’s the first time they ever swim together. Yeah. Yeah. The wetest mouth on the team. Finally agreed. All right. Well, let’s shift over to the Clipper side real quick before we move on. The Juicy Mountain. Juicy Mountain. Clippers have lost 11 their last 13 games. My Juicy Mountain. Oldest team in the league. Five and 13. Does Chris Don get suspended for that? Together. But he slap. I mean, no. I I mean, he got pushed in the back. I don’t know, man. No, he get fined. I think just fine. I’m just asking. Yeah, probably get fine. I mean, do they I mean, cuz he got Well, I don’t know. I don’t know where they’re going to start. Do they consider that a punch? Huh? Do they consider that a punch? Well, he did. Well, open hand. Put the thing in front of Lucas chest, right? I’m talking about the one with Jackson Hayes and Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. Open hand still, right? Yeah. He was his hand was out and he he made contact with his face. I’m just wondering are they going to consider that a punch? Oh, yeah. I don’t know these rules now. My bad. My bad. My bad. Is the league going to consider that a punch? No, not the job. Do Do you think they will? You think he I don’t think he should be suspended, but I’m tell I I it’s not. But I just Yeah. Yeah. Man push you in the back. I mean, I think you should at least be able to to the side. Yeah. Pushed the ball in the man’s face. Back that wasn’t back. Don’t matter. So the thing about like he started it, Jackson Hayes escalated it and he swung at him. So I think you know that’s just my personal opinion. But I don’t I don’t consider you know the best part about it LeBron James. LeBron very very strategic very boy that he knows. He went in there that fine boy. Yes. Woo. On the last deal. Last year of my deal. He looking down at Luka like, “Yeah, nigga.” Uh, so too old for that. Yeah, man. I want to get to the Clippers quickly and something you brought up with Kawhi. I thought was very concerning for that side of Clippers have lost 11 their last 13 games. Five and 13, now 13th in the West. They’re in the bottom third of the league in both offensive and defensive rating and 24th in net rating. Kawhai played in his second straight game after missing the previous 10 with a right ankle and foot sprain. And after the game, he had this to say about his difference with this group where it’s been such a struggle to kind of sustain some of the blows you guys have taken early. Um just got to get the right lineups on the court, I guess. Um you know, uh get some more talent, play with better talent and see what happens. You say get like get more talent. Is that like internally, externally? I’m saying like playing better. Like we all just got to play better. Make sure to correct that [ __ ] We trying to clean that [ __ ] up. Trust one another and and just uh get better. Nah. Hey, good day. Way to try to backtrack that thing, Kai. That’s a fade, bro. Play with better talent. Hey, maybe we need play with better talent. Yeah. So, play with different lineups on the floor, but we need better talent is what that man said. Interesting choice of words there. I think I never heard that. But Tailoo also has some interesting thoughts about the Clippers dealing with injury and the next man up mentality. So Tyoo said, “I know a lot of people say next man up, but if your best player is making 60 million and your next man is making 400,000, it’s not really the same.” As a reminder, the Thunder currently own the Clippers 2026 draft pick. Damn, they take shots like they going crazy. The clip clip going to clip. What happened? The Thunder own the Clippers 2026. [ __ ] NBA draft pick. So they get a [ __ ] around and get a lottery pick, [ __ ] No, that’s not what he said. We know what he said. Yeah. If basically if Kawai go down and y’all said next man up, it’s not that next man up picks 400,000 for that’s his talent. We missing a Bugatti. He’s a Honda. So it’s not But this ain’t the same race. But they decided to do what? Get rid of a little Ferrari. Sold it to Miami. Yeah. Picked up a little tricycle. Yeah. Yeah, that [ __ ] broke soon as it got there. Little tink tink broke soon as it got there. Now you talking about complaining about next man up, [ __ ] Yeah, your next man is right there. Right. This is what you got. That’s what you wanted. You You threw this [ __ ] away. It’s like, “Hey, y’all take this. We We’ll deal with whatever. We We good. Yeah, we got Bradley. Yeah, we good.” Nah, he talking about for himself. Like, why is platoon you up? Do you? Nah, it ain’t platoon. They’re talking about like the Kobe Patun. They heard those cards. Yes. Patuna is a small for that’s who’s in for Kawawaii when Kawhai was out. It’s all of them, man. It’s all making all three of y’all make the same amount of rock paper scissors. I want to go. Come on, bro. Can’t get rid of a little 45 that part, man. You [ __ ] make better decisions out here, man. Play with more talent. Woo. Yeah, they with better talent. Yeah, it’s hard to make decision paid this man. So you I can’t pay keep paying people. Le I can’t keep making these same mistakes. I can’t pay come up with better tree company down another coach. What would they have to pay? Make like a tree and get out of here to keep him. Uh they signed him when he got there, didn’t he? I think he had a couple. Let me see. Let me see what he’s making. trade. I mean, it wasn’t a trade, right? It was a free agent. He was a free agent. No. Pal. So P Pal’s one year left on his deal. I think his extension ele 21 mil this season. He got traded. So got credit to the Heat for Collins. For Collins. Yeah. In a package. Yeah. But nasty. Yeah. Nasty work as I say. But let’s keep this thing moving. Uh you know the holidays. I love corner [ __ ] that much. Holidays always make me nostalgic. Like how about you feel you as teammates though? You got to ask. I never been in that position. Yes, you have. So I don’t remember you. How do you feel? Huh? How do you feel? How do you feel on Orlando and Memphis and number nine on the Wizards? I was making 21 million. I felt good. No, we ain’t saying more talent on the floor. We need more talent. Again, I was the highest paid on the team, so whatever they talent, whatever they said, it didn’t matter to me. How about you, player? How’ you feel when the white was like, man, we can’t have Gil out there? We need Turkoo. Uh, Jam Nelson. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I remember that [ __ ] Okay. So, we do have a How did you feel when we was getting our ass whooped in Boston to Boston and I came to the sideline and I said, “Motherfuckers ain’t ready. They shouldn’t be in the game and then y’all got benched for a week. But the talent y’all was losing already by 10 by 20. So the talent was already less when they was out there. You know what I’m saying is how did you feel? You know how I felt? I felt like this ass [ __ ] telling me that I’m ass when they losing by 20 and he going to call me going to call me out. That’s how I felt. So that’s how I feel about I know they feel that way about Kawhai. get his ass cooked by 30. 30 in the first quarter. He going to say we need better talent. [ __ ] had nine points until five minute left when he said, “You know what? Let me try to get my average.” All right. Well, there you go. One one last clip. So, we know how they feel. One last Clippers related subject uh for this Thanksgiving week, but this is not We were supposed to talk about it yesterday, but uh you know, we couldn’t hit everything yesterday. The end of the season will be the end of an era with Chris Paul officially announcing his retirement at the conclusion of his 21st season. So CB3 made the announcement via his social media this weekend before the Clippers game at the Hornets. His final game in his home state with Charlotte just over an hour away from Paul’s hometown of Winston Salem. Uh CB3 future first ballot hall of famer with an impressive resume. He was a rookie of the year, 12-time all-star, 11 time allNBA selection, ninetime all defensive selection, six time steals champ, five times assist champ, also finished top five in MVP voting, five times in his career, will finish his career uh second all time in both steals and assist behind John Stockton. Also has some legendary State Farm commercials, playing both himself and his fictitious twin brother, Cliff Paul. So CB3 picked the Clippers for his final season where he’s one of the architects of the live city era. uh struggled to crack the rotation this year getting several deep MPs unfortunately. But when you look back at Chris Paul’s career, what stands out the most to you all? A lot of you guys played against him. Swag, you played with him for about what, a good 20 games? I think that was his first challenge. Um, I remember he was coming into the draft and he was in DC working out and I remember uh the trainer Edon um text me and said, “Oh, yo, hey, you want to train right now with one of the rookies? You know, just give him a little, you know, bump before, you know, he enters the draft. He’s going to be a top, he should be a top five pick.” So, I [ __ ] All right, cool. you know, working with him, what he was afraid of, I guess like any small guard, he was he thought he was too short for the NBA, couldn’t get his shot off. So, we playing one-on-one. And let’s just say I had a rough day. Um, it was one of those days where I I was making a lot of excuses for myself, like, yeah, I’m just not in shape right now, you know? You know, so I went 0 and 21 from the ones. every win oneonone like No, he he whooped my ass up and down that goddamn court. He No, no, I ain’t gonna lie. Like in the fact that he was like really feisty, I was like, “No, you’re going to be fine.” But I can tell you this, when regular season start, you’re in trouble and you know, I let him have it during regular season. But uh just to see that fight in him and you know how he you know turned out and lasted this long um you can see it early in ones he was a very controlled uh PG and understood you know the game very well. So you know to see him u retiring you know where he wants to his way you know that’s amazing for him. So let’s shift over Mr. B. Mr. You and CP3 have had uh some history with each other. Whoa. You got to rephrase that. What? It’s one fight. He own one. No, it’s not. He own today. No, no, no. I’m just saying it’s not. You said with each other. I only think I think only one. There was there was a lack of respect for No, but I don’t I don’t think Chris Paul knew he seen it. So, it’s kind of, you know, Brandon Jenny’s a staple. I see basketball culture don’t matter. Um, no. I feel like Chris Paul is the last true point guard we’ll ever have at that size. Um, just the way the game is played. Uh, now I I know when I was growing up, that’s how you know we were taught how to be a point guard like Chris Paul. So, uh, he is definitely the definition of a true point guard. Um, and he’s done it for a long time. Everywhere he’s went, he’s won. Um, so, man, congratulations to him. Um, and yeah, I don’t think we’ll have another, like I said, we we’ll never see another small point guard at that at that size anymore, that dominant. I think that game I think it’s over for us. Had the ability to score, but I mean, obviously facilitating was his was his hustle, but man, BJ, I mean, it’s true. I mean, it’s true, though, bro. I can’t I’m not going to, you know. You know, you let it go, huh? You let that go. You know, he’s like, I was just a little kid, you know. [ __ ] him. He gave you 50 or something. No, I mean he ain’t got no ring, so it don’t matter. We all ringless. We all at the same table. Let’s tell a story. Tell Let’s go. Let’s go next. We’ll go around. We’ll go around. Let’s go next. We all ain’t got a ring. So, it don’t matter. We all at the same table. Um, it’s a um it’s a special moment, you know. Um, me and Chris used to be good friends. Good friends. I used to be good friends with a lot of people. Now people just don’t like me anymore. But I got to see him grow from Kappa Magic, him and Raan Terry, him being below six feet before he got his growth spurt. And uh coming into the draft, even before that, Edon work out, worked out for uh Utah, seen him do a lot of things, you know, me, him, Worldwide West, we all came up the same circle. So CNC go from Wake Forest to Hall of Fame point guard has been very special to witness knowing that I was beside him at some point and seeing his trajectory go exactly the way we we go as prodigies as young kids coming up in the AU circuit and having a expectation of our talents. He surpassed it. Um he’s definitely one of the guys that overachieved. He definitely went above and beyond what people had placed on him and um he kept his eye on the prize. He didn’t win a he didn’t win a championship, but he’s still a winner. There’s winners and there’s champions, you know, and Chris has always strived to be, you know, the best foundational point guard that he can be. John Stockton type, you know, prototypical point guard. So, for him to keep going and knowing that this is his limit and he can shut it down now, it’s gonna be difficult to not be able to win a championship for it, but I think he’s done enough. Sometimes it’s enough is enough. And um proud to see that he’s done all that he’s done and salute to him and his family, CJ, the whole whole crew over there. They know I got nothing but love for him. So, uh, congrats. Can we look back on on CP3’s career? What comes to mind? Oh, this a fierce competitor. Um, yeah, he competes at all costs. He wants to win. Um, he’s been put in some unfortunate situations with injuries and different things like that. Been on the other bad side of a of a trade that could have put him in a much better winning situation. um to bounce back from that and still land in a place where you have a chance to win says a lot about him as a player. Um his competitive nature um he makes people around him better um what you expect out of your point guard. Um he has always been in my opinion an underrated defender um because of his competitive drive and and takes things personal. Um people can say what they want to. wasn’t athletic, wasn’t this, wasn’t that, but what he lacked in those areas, he made up for. Um, but yeah, so he’s to Brandon’s point, to Rashard’s point, and yeah, he’s going to he is the last in our of that style of a point guard to where control the game and make sure everybody got looks a solid shot every possession down. Um, yeah. I just I understand we all want to keep playing. I just wish he would like how many he played a lot of games last year. Like let like like go out on top. He played all 82 games. Yeah. Like go out I just like go out on top. I get it. Like having DMPS and all that [ __ ] especially if it’s unexpected does something to you. But if it’s talked about beforehand, you kind of still going to do something to you but you don’t. But for you to suit up that game and be like your name not called that first time when you didn’t when you could have went out without the DMPS on your resume and different things like that. I just want guys to look at it that like in that manner cuz like being able to cuz he signed late. Mhm. Writing count on the wall right then. So I just like go out on top for some guys to be able to go out here. I think he’s he deserved that for what he gave to the game. Right. to go out on top going on your own merit still but having not DMPS on your resume because of what what you’re lacking now because of the game and the position that you play. So go out where you like here. But it’s still of course it’s not a doubt about it. First ballot hall of f all those things are in place. But go out on your I want to just see him go out here instead of on this team. What Lord knows where they going to finish in the West. And so that’s that’s not a Yeah, I Yeah, that’s Last but not least, Swaggy. You and Chris Paul played 21 games together. You were 14 and seven in those 21 games. Yeah, we were. You remember my dog? No. Um, one thing I just don’t want Chris to have that not winning a championship lingering back of his mind cuz he had a great career for sure. Um, one of the best PGs to play this game. one set the tone for people wanting to come to the Clippers. Man, Live City was one of the, you know, 247 with Chris. Yeah, he was with us. He was with us. He was You came on later. He was there before, was I? Was he? Thought you was at first. I know. That’s what I thought you Okay. Now, you played 21 games. Kanye played 41 games. Yeah, I saw. Oh, damn. So, he got traded. I got traded from the Wizards. He I remember that. Chris Paul was the first person to call me similar to Gil. Um, but nah, pass first type of guy. Even when some of them balls come, Paul’s come late, but he’s still, you know, it’s Chris Paul, man. He changed the game. He’s going to forever be a top wherever you want to put him, a top five, top 10 PGs. He’s always going to be in that category. To me, he’s like the black John Stocking. Um, if you would just you put it do you put it on your tree? What kind of Do we put it on? No, I said do we put it on a black one or white or a brown one? Can I get one of those on my chair? Stocking, right? What is his name? What is his name? I’m going to put one of those stockings on my on the chimney. On the chimney. Stocking. Making sure he said stocking. Can I Can I give my Can I give my praise to a beer? Can I give my praise to get this [ __ ] a beer? It don’t matter if he don’t play, got a DMP, he getting his for real tour. You know, I seen Kobe not get he get DMP. He’s not play. You know, Kobe didn’t even come to practice. He just came to games. He didn’t play when he wanted to. That’s the same name. This not the same thing. He Kobe determined this. This is not the same thing, Nick. B3 available to Kobe determined that determined. I wouldn’t retire if I didn’t I didn’t get this. And I feel like he deserved this. So it don’t matter if you’re getting a DMP or playing 30 minutes. I feel like fans still want that last time seeing him in person, getting artic signed. I feel like if he going out the right way is what more can you ask for? He tried. He tried his best. He came up short. I’m thankful he was hurt game seven against us. I mean game six and seven cuz they was up they was up 4-2 and he went out came back and won. So I mean 3-2. You won’t understand. I’m just asking. [ __ ] up. Clarify so you can clarify. [ __ ] I’m helping you. Let’s all said 42. See what’s over, [ __ ] Let’s clarify. 3-2 and you know he got hurt. He just came up short and saying people that never went to the you know it’s not a personal shot. Nick, I’m helping. Stop. There’s no need for [ __ ] clapback, [ __ ] Just calm down. Calm down. Is that calm down? Relax. Relax, Timmy. Relax, Timmy. You got to rub his Timmy the sloth. He said four too. I’m like swap, [ __ ] I keep seeing downtown special. Yo, can I get um can I get a napkin, please? No, I I know what you’re saying. Like last year would have been a great year for him, but I don’t think he was planning on retiring. I understand that. So just retiring and you didn’t get to So me and T going to have to have a conversation before the season then. Either you going to play more or you’re not. So what that was? Hey, either you going to play me or you’re not. I I want my farewell to it. Let me Either you going to play me or you’re not. Hey, if he say no, what you going to do? No. Either you going to play I’m still coming. I’m still playing. It’s a conversation. It goes into the It’s a conversation thing. Don’t embarrass me. He’s not getting I don’t feel that’s embarrassing. The DMP. No. Yes, it is. Can’t play tonight. He’s telling this. I’m I’m sure they told him that though. I don’t know. I said I don’t know that I think it’s like 5 minutes like I said for it to be for it to be an unexpected thing came in the game that’s the reason they damn for it to be unexpected thing and you playing 8 minutes 7 minutes through like that’s what is that doing is what I’m saying but him out there it’s just it’s doing what your liability if you out there that’s my point I’m making embarrass me don’t make me look bad in these little minutes I’m getting either play me or don’t play me but this if I play you So definitely that’s what I’m saying. That’s not tight. I’m going to have my farewell tour at that position, dog. If it was a big, you can hide him a little bit. So K, are you are you saying don’t check in just to wave off, right? Like Vince and all everybody else like when you check in at the end of the game. That’s at the end of the game. Cool. End of the game. Check eight, nine minutes during the course of the game. Yeah. Or DMP. So if I give you a DMP because we trying to win the game, are we are we not trying to win every game if we the Clippers? But if we’re down 20, if we’re down 20, I put 50 in. It’s for you to say goodbye. Or if we’re down, right? It’s for you. But that ain’t the case though. Right now, that’s why we So let’s just say Yeah. four DMPS. Let’s just say they were close games. Those were the close games. Those were close. We don’t know whether we going to put you in. Why are you embarrassed though? What? Right. Chris embarrassed Chris and you told him you’re retiring cuz I’m Chris. You just told him that. You want to This is his personal farewell tour. Yeah. So, it’s turning into it for him because he just announced everybody. We don’t know this for facts, right? We don’t know this for sure. If Chris Paul come out game one to game what? They didn’t what they 17 18 games in. 18 games. had he played all 18 games 20ome minutes tonight from game day one. I don’t think he’d be retired. He can’t I don’t think he’ll be retired. Writings on the wall. That’s my personal opinion. I don’t think he’ll be retiring right now. Yeah, but who you going to play? Five listen but five DMPS play a game DMP play two games DMP. But that [ __ ] is not unfort that’s really like man you’re not taking into account what Tyoo has to deal with now. So if those 18 games I’m playing you 20. That’s what I’m saying. And we losing. That’s what I’m saying. That was the conversation, right? And we losing. It’s like we got to put him over there. But he was out of the game for five of them six, seven, eight, nine of them losses they got. He ain’t played. But you saying for me to switch my lineup basic I said the conversation is to have before we play one game. But we I don’t know. Me I’m CP. I don’t know if I’m ready. I don’t know if I’m ready to retire or not, but you know if you going to pay me 20 minutes or not. The conversation just had when I signed with the Clips. I signed late. He was the last one to sign with the Clippers if I’m not mistaken. Was the last one to sign, right? I think right before training camp. Right before training camp. So that was the coming into it. So that’s my point. The point I made when I said last year, you played all them games last year. That should have been [ __ ] I got Hey, I know I won a tour, but it didn’t happen. I wasn’t ready, but I played all 82. The phone don’t ring in July. The phone don’t ring in August. Actually, he signed He signed with them in July if I’m not mistaken. Early July 21st. Yeah. So, so he had the training camp, he had everything. So, he was expecting to play. Yes. So, that’s my thing. And if if I had a conversation with your thing, you know, I signed early. Am I going to play your thing? Am I going to play or not? They projected number two because Chris Paul’s coming off the bench for to help fortify that bench. But CP3 wanted to be closer to family and son play in Bradley. I’m saying you could have had all the time Bill was there. But if you projected to play right beginning of the season and we see you don’t fit what we doing right now DNP’s come because and we haven’t actually had the conversation of you retiring though. But what if we haven’t had that conversation? That’s what I’m saying. We haven’t had that conversation. I thought you said have. No, we haven’t had that retirement conversation. This is all about how I see you fitting with our team. Absolutely. As a coach. Yes. Is it good coaching? So for debate. Yeah. Up for debate. But for CP, like you’re saying, is it embarrassing? I don’t think so. I don’t think so because No, of course. But it’s based on what Too sees he can do for our team right now. Not on the retirement thing. If it’s a retirement thing with Tu and they had that conversation, I think he does it differently. I think he does it. Put him in at the end of the game. Yeah. I think he does it different. Put him in at the end of the game. Let him get his his Yes. bows and [ __ ] Let him get the game ball and yeah, perhaps I think now at this point him saying it now is him saying it to Too without saying it to Too. But hey yo, with these DMPS and [ __ ] Hey, listen, you can cut that [ __ ] out now. I’m pretty sure they had a That’s my thing with it cuz we Yeah, they Well, I mean, I think the conventional wisdom was this was going to be his last year, but Kenya, to your point, if he would have came out cooking, maybe he would have changed his mind a little bit. Well, just playing out playing different. The team would have been 13 and a different record. Different record for it now instead of four and 13 and he’s playing good playing well. The team is playing well. It’s a different energy and a different conversation is what my opinion he’s contributing. But now you get DMP here. You play a game, you play seven minutes, you get four DMPS, you play a game, you play 19 minutes, you come back, get two DMPS in a row, then you play nine minutes. That [ __ ] No, but you sign in the end of July too though. Like that’s different. And for you too, what the you you normally be the first one signed or not even in free agency. He had never been in free agency. That’s what I’m saying. So that’s different. That’s the same trajectory of [ __ ] DMPs. You signing after everybody else. But he didn’t. So what are you saying? He did. He signed July 21st. That’s after everybody else. That’s not That’s early. That’s That’s three weeks into the free agency period. But I’m saying it’s not No, everybody was signed already besides him and Westbrook. [ __ ] By three weeks in. So you just So 3 weeks in everybody was signed. All right. So 3 weeks in everybody was signed. You was right. You right. You irritated him for no reason. You irritated for no reason. He irritated for no reason, dog. This [ __ ] Listen, dog. Y’all want talking to art with this [ __ ] This [ __ ] footless [ __ ] brain [ __ ] fog. Candy and all going on. I never seen a [ __ ] all right fog going on. I said it’s my [ __ ] opinion, [ __ ] It’s my [ __ ] opinion. My It’s my opinion. You’re right, [ __ ] Shut the [ __ ] up. It’s my opinion. I think y’all need to [ __ ] cuz you just want to argue with a [ __ ] for no reason. Like I said, it’s my opinion. You can have your opinion. Have it. Have it. Have your [ __ ] opinion. No. Why? Why? You ain’t respecting nobody else opinion. You just want to argue. All right. Yeah. You just want to argue with a [ __ ] [ __ ] make opinion. You just want to argue with a [ __ ] about his opinion. Save it. All right. Well, let’s keep this moving. What makes [ __ ] talk about saying I got an opinion and I don’t want to argue with you. What makes that tough? Oh, you right. Done done it all. What makes it tough? I thought this was about Chris Paul. Exactly. Yeah. His farewell. And the [ __ ] want to argue nigga’s opinion. His for real tour. No. Yeah. Congratulations. Hey, Chris Paul. Congratulations again. Had an amazing career. Thank you, Chris. For real tour, let’s keep this thing moving. Today’s show is sponsored by Seink Geek. Everyone can use our code Arena 10. Uh, you were out of Gills Arena last week as you headed to Milwaukee to handle some business and show love to the faux one. Let’s take a look. They lost, right? On the road with Mr. Big [ __ ] All right. Okay. Did they really give you um no expense things? So this is what you were up to in Cream City. That was real. That’s you. Three-point competition, Mr. B. You were looking good in the hoodie. Perfect form. Yeah. Uh you and Paul George shared a moment. You see the handshake you gave me? Yeah. Neighbors. Neighbors. Uh Paul George showed you some love during the Sixers Bucks game. The Bucks lost that game. Yeah, we lost. Yeah. Bobby Porters also gave you some love while you were seated courtside. You did one more just for good measure. Three. They even let you fire off the hot brat cannon. Oh yeah. Bro, and as we come to expect whenever you pull up to a Bucks game, probably the best thing that ever happened to the Bucks right here. Johnsonville hot broadcast can it? And as you come to expect nah. Yeah. Getting it in on the sideline. I did get banned. You got banned. Yeah. Milwaukee always embracing. Here’s a picture with you, Santa. Oh, yeah. That was lit right there. The Grinch who stole blackness. You even lit the city’s Christmas tree with the mayor. Milwaukee. Yeah. Had yourself a week. Can I say the same thing about the Milwaukee Bucks, though? They’ve lost five straight games. Yiannis missing the last three while recovering from a left groin strain. He suffered in a loss to the who? Cleveland last week. Hey man, you be out there having [ __ ] fun for real. I’d be working though. I be having fun. I still be working. Makes me want to go try to TC. No. No. No. Seriously, you can’t throw the towels. No. The NBA told me I had to like relax sitting courtside cuz I’ll be talking. Oh, did they give you that code of conduct? That was just a warning exclusive for you. It wasn’t on every chair when you Yeah. Yeah. I got a warning cuz I was saying what’s up to the refs and like saying what’s up and you know when my foot hit that line, they was like, “Yo, you can’t.” Who who gave you that warning? Fighting them, right? The NBA security. Okay. Yeah. So, I got to I had to chill out a little bit. Next time I go, they probably let me sit there. Okay. Yeah. See? Yeah. That’s what I got. They was like, “Yo, you got to you got to be a fan.” Mr. Be I said Bucks lost five straight games. Three without the last three without Giannis. Yeah. Uh suffered their third straight home loss money to the Blazers. Eight and 10. 11th in the Eastern Conference right now. What is the mood like in Milwaukee? Uh, got to find our way to get Giannis back. I mean, he is like 90% 95% of the team. Um, so without him, 95% of the team. I mean, I mean, no, seriously. I mean, and then not having, you know, Kevin Porter Jr. Um, you know, Ryan Rollins, he’s been doing his thing, but um, yeah, you know, we’re just struggling right now. Um, you know, but when Giannis comes back, I know the move would would would change. Uh, we’re in 11th right now, five games out of three or four spot. Um, you know, we’re still struggling. We need some rebounders. Um, so yeah, man. Um, that’s just the move. Wait till wait till 34 comes back. Wait till even with 34 in the lineup. I mean, before he went down, I mean, before he Well, well, I mean, we’re five games out of third. Four. Get him back soon. Once he come back, we going to get right back on track. You’re four games out of third place. Four game is easy. So, so once he come back, we’ll be all right. You still got the other two brothers out there. Who? Two brothers they signed. What? Boy, the one brother’s in the G. We already established that [ __ ] Stop it. Last name. Kevin Porter’s not playing. No, he’s still hurt. Ryan Rollins cuz I’m like even without Giannis, you have enough games, but see a lot of like our rebounding is ter we can’t rebound. Kzma got us rebounding. But even at the been playing I mean they the seven spot y’all play Toronto right now. I got Milwaukee over Toronto for sure. When we played Detroit and I seen that Thompson Twins was guarding Ryan Rollins how he’s just picking up for it’s it’s it’s going to be a struggle a little bit cuz now now teams without Giannis you just come up and put them bigger guards on them. Yeah. Yeah. But that’s you need Porter cuz Porter Porter the only creator that can really get a bucket like Right. So depending on on Kevin Porter, huh? Depending on him. No, I’m just saying like with someone like Kevin Porter who is like hard to guard and scheme against because how he plays the game. Yeah. And he can just create shots out of nothing. Without him, you don’t even have nobody who can do what you got. Koozma. We sagging on everybody. Yeah. That’s what I’m saying. Sag. Kevin Porter. Sag. Sag. Sag. Sag. Listen. is playing with all shooters. What happens when your star player goes down? Who has to make better decisions? The coach. Mhm. Mhm. The coach. Mhm. It’s up to the coach to win the games. Now, you have to strategize, scheme. You have to outthink the other side with what you have. You have less much less. You said 95 to 90% of the offense and and winning is dictated on Giannis. I mean, that’s and he not there. Okay, coach, what are we going to do now? Who the [ __ ] is going to be our guy? Let’s go back to the flex cut. Let’s get some easy buckets. Let’s go back to the UCL. Let’s go back to something that’s going to get us into easy offense, easy shots where we can actually get offensive rebound positions, run back and transition defense, do the simple [ __ ] But we can’t keep doing what we was doing with 34 thinking that Bobby Portoris is gonna substitute him for this. No, this not gonna work. Doc Rivers getting paid all this [ __ ] money to [ __ ] come in here and watch the kids go out here and just play freef fall and then not take the blame for [ __ ] and just say, “Well, we don’t got our best player.” Yeah, we [ __ ] know that. But you signed two of his brothers and you could have signed some other [ __ ] that could help you in free agency. You didn’t. You’re mad cuz Chris Middleton not there. You mad because certain guys go guys not. You lose [ __ ] Brook Lopez. Yeah. We ain’t said nothing about Miles Turner. We said nothing about Miles Turner. We ain’t saying nothing about Kyle Coo supposed to be like what what’s the problem? It’s the [ __ ] coach. Miles Turner averaging 12 come back and won’t be the coach. Miles Turner averaging 12 and seven this year. We ain’t that the same [ __ ] he was averaging before. He got hurt. He got hurt. But like what kind of Kevin got hurt like first game without Kevin and Giannis. Who creates offense? Ryan Rollins right now. That’s I mean that’s what I’m saying. That’s he’s been playing the year guys. This to Gil’s point what Gil always said. If Doc had a [ __ ] system to implement, which he never has, which he never has. This is the problem, right? Yeah. Your main guy is your main guy. We know that he’s been the main guy. The guy has been doing what he’s supposed to, but there has been nothing in place for as a team. the corner [ __ ] as y’all call the others as certain people call the the road whatever you want to classify the other guys as there’s nothing in place for them when they’re not used to having to go get their own shot or being in the position to be comfortable to go get their own shot or being told only to shoot layups and threes instead of play basketball now you create robots so when you create robots you need to go tell them what to do and there’s no system in place to be told what to do So now you have losing basketball when that guy is not out there. Yeah. I think that’s the biggest misconception in just basketball itself is the word system. Mhm. A system is not ever made for your best player if he’s a creator. It’s made for the team. So the team itself can move around and be a part of it and your your best player will find his way with the system or without the system. Michael Jordan was Michael Jordan. The triangle was for everybody else to be effective. If not, Jordan’s over there. Everybody else is focused on him and they’re going to have to spread out, right? With a system that involves movement, it keeps the defense moving. And then when time wind down and Jordan has an advantage, it goes to him. Same thing with Kobe. Um without without the system, Kobe’s averaging 3 what? Right. the system just makes everybody else. So when he wants to go one-on-one, that guy goes back door, this guy flashes, he cuts. Now you get that one-on-one. So it’s the same thing. And a lot of teams don’t, a lot of coaches don’t understand, you don’t have to worry about Giannis. Giannis does Giannis, right? The system is for everyone else to be functional inside of Giannis’s world. And the system would help him as well. Yeah. Yeah. The system help him. It would help him play in the half court, which he needs to be better at. Help him slow hand. Oh, my bad. Do they make all the stars beat the system now in this era? Like every star player becomes the system. It revolves around them. Yeah, they do everything from jokers to like everybody. They are the system. They pick and roll doing this. But it’s off of it’s off of what they do. Like with Jokic, right? Like who’s they point guard? They’re point guard. I mean their their system in a sense is a pick and roll then gets it and then from there everyone moves. We got back door, we got corner, I play like it’s all off of his what he does well. Lat game and then late game with it’s late game. It’s a two man game with him. So when the games don’t line, we going to th So this let’s simplify it a little bit more, right? Let’s simplify it to a point where we talk about the Utah Jazz Jerry Sloan. Yes. 20 years straight system, right? Let’s just start with Stockton and Malone. that system of the UCLA cut pop back go into the pick and roll down screen come off right now let’s just say we thought that was just Dr. and Malone [ __ ] until Darren Williams, Carlos Boozer came, Carol Linko, they showed that this system is a plugandplay system. Gary Sloan said, “Look, we not changing [ __ ] Y’all [ __ ] run through cross the baseline. We going to do the pick and pop with Booze. Booze, you got your [ __ ] You going to be Lil Car Malone. You going to be Lil John Stockton.” And you know what happened? You know what happened to Jerry Sloan? Get the [ __ ] out of here. Get the [ __ ] out of here. But what happened to Utah after that? The system disappeared. They stopped. They stopped making it to the playoffs. Darren Williams said, “I ain’t doing this.” They stopped making it to the playoffs. Darren Williams out of there. Now ain’t no more system. Look at the Spurs. That [ __ ] was effective. The Spurs system. He ain’t like it. I feel you, but he ain’t 20 and 10 under it, but Darren Williams did both of them. Yeah. Regardless if he don’t like it, whether he like it or not, it was effective. I mean, yeah, it was cool. I mean, was first round effective pass the Lakers, but it don’t matter. We 20 years effective. We’re 20 years straight in the playoffs. Well, that’s not saying much. It wasn’t that effective. A lot of people. No, no, I’m It was effective, but I’m saying it wasn’t. I mean, in the ‘9s, yeah, but when it was 20 years straight of playoffs. If that system was created today where you have a point guard like him and a diver like them with three shooters in today’s game, that system would be hard to stop with a shooting for the problem. The problem The problem with the system then is they didn’t shoot. They wasn’t great shooters in those times. I know, right? So John Stockton didn’t he didn’t he didn’t shoot threes like they had average shooters in Brian Russell. It was games in the playoffs where they didn’t make a three. No. So that means the lane is compact. Now think about if you do have those you run the same system, right? It kind of like uh throw it to the wing cut off for that’s what it look like. Suns and five. Just imagine that B [ __ ] you said UCLA cut off down going to get go set a cross screen for Yiannis [ __ ] flashing that [ __ ] real big and you [ __ ] got a shooter coming off coming off the down screen that down huh the way they shoot the ball Rollins over there Rollins can shoot it cross on the baseline. Yiannis the first one down. Them [ __ ] cross on the baseline. Yiannis ducking behind [ __ ] right in the middle. Drop that [ __ ] down. He dunking that [ __ ] every time. be more athletic than Carlo it should both defic what we want to see him develop more elbow pop right come off they run that pick and roll he pop to the elbow shoot that there’s a it’s a no-brainer to throw it to him you better shoot it who could do that on Milwaukee right now pick and pop system Nick I mean yeah I mean who’s pick you have Ryan they don’t do mouth break don’t roll m you’re talking Uh, no. Even so they had a five. They had OA tag. Listen, they had OSA tag out there. They had stiffs out there that played the five and that [ __ ] still was affected. Even move move past that. Move move to these can shoot. These [ __ ] he can shoot. Our and Carol linko. That just say OR is Miles Turner. Miles Turner is the pick and pop [ __ ] right? Let’s just say you put uh Bobby Poris as your boozer right now because you don’t have Giannis. He can move around. He can. He loves to post up. Same. Bobby Porters loves post up. Rollins, you come off this screen with [ __ ] Miles Turner and you might have this wide open Vcut for the for the UCLA cut. You might might not. He pop. Man, you you come you turn around and set the back screen for Miles Turner to come down or Bobby. Yeah. No, no. Miles Turner. So Miles is going to set the screen for you. So you set it for Bobby. You set it for Bobby Porsch. The back screen. Yeah. The back screen for Bobby. Come down. If he don’t get it, you throw it up top. Now you’re in the pick and roll. Got Koozma on the weak side. AJ Green. AJ Green. AJ Green is the shooter in the weak side. Go down. Pin down for AJ Green. So what did you run the UCLA cut right with M. So if Miles Turner is in that spot or Bobby Porters, right, they both Bobby Porters can pick and post. Yeah, you run it. Bobby Porter set the side pick. Either he going to get the rip screen or he going to pop. Yep. You know Miles Turner is going to pop 90%. 95% of the time Miles Turner is going to pop. So we know this. So if he’s in it, we run it a certain way. They switching it. Switching everything. You know it already. The way they play defense, you know it already. It works. But if Doc has something similar when say they got to run this, right? Right. But just something something that they all know to get to it with three or four options. Yeah. With three four options instead of worried about no ISO. Every time down we run the 77 to 77, right? Yeah. Double pick. Yeah. Yeah, we running a drag or a double drag every time. If you ain’t in Jiannis not in the game, it’s the same. Look, we know we going to clog the We going to make this. We going to make this guy on everybody, right? We going to play it this way. But if you had anything in place like us in Jersey, we like we want We want to do this. We knew this. We had J Kid pushing that [ __ ] I’m running, Carrie one wing, RJ one wing. We [ __ ] running half court system system as much as we wanted to run. We running this. We got counters for this. Low post counter that low post how much forwards out how much basic out reverse so we have things that we can get to the game they they need to what’s the name that team when you look at it without Giannis I would put them in our our old offense have a bunch of have a bunch of fours out some chin looks um Bobby in the middle yeah two m Because one, they don’t have to dribble and everything is just reacting, right? Throw it to the mid post. Y’all come off. We see some. So now now you looking like Giannis without minimal. I don’t I don’t need to worry about you trying to create your own shot. Just All right, we’re going to forwards out, back door. Forwards out, double back. If not, I got to reverse it. When I reverse it, this top guy back door, right? Come off the Yeah. You know what I mean? So it’s you throw it green, throw it to the [ __ ] joint, get the flare. No, bro. That secondary offense secondary offense come down. We running this be a slow game. No, that’s but they don’t have Giannis. What I’m saying is they don’t have Giannis now and they don’t have really creators. You still take the first shot. You still take the first shot. But I get what you still take the first shot. I get what you’re saying. 80 points. No, but you can still take the first available shot, but you’re getting to something instead of coming down and just running pick and roll in the secondary break. I what they everybody’s secondary break right now is pick and roll drag. Listen to this. All right. So instead of that, we come down with 17 seconds in the shot clock. We running this. We not just drag it cuz we coming down fast. It’s now we go right into secondary break, bro. What we doing? Pass it up. Cut through. Throw it up top. Come down. They score and we still running. Pick it up. Like I said, let’s say you score and I and I and I’m coming down. I can see I’m like, “All right, four is out. Four is out strong.” So that means if I have the ball and I’m giving it to Kenyan, when he swings it and he goes off the big, it’s that post. That first post. Yep. First option. It’s the It’s the first option. You throw it in. Then we play after that. Yep. We cut off him. We We see what you got. What you got, big fella? Go ahead with it, man. So like you kind of know it once we run the break. Yeah. We do that forward strong post double some [ __ ] I know. I got the double coming for Car on the weak side. Just [ __ ] like that, man. That’s been my problem with coaching though. The the modern day coaching is the I feel like they too lazy to implement systems based on the speed of the game, the talent that they have. You know what it is? I understand. No, I’m not saying you know what it is though. I’m saying that it’s not that. No, you know what it is though. It is that. It’s this. That’s what they saying. I’m not saying that. I’m not saying that it’s not that. They saying they can’t. I’m saying that the speed of the game and the influence of the Steph Curry era, shooting a three, the whole Warriors, the whole Warriors blueprint right there, it shouldn’t deter us from playing basketball, period. And I think that’s what’s happened. We don’t have a secondary break because we want to shoot threes, want to space the floor, want to be five out, no post threat. When you got a guy running the post and you can throw it in and he can score it, cool. But now we not even training guys even be in the post no more. So there’s no post threat secondary break. If you’re a coach, you should know that this is the automatic first option for us as a team. Star or no star. We need a offense to run that is going to be our engine. Our engine, not just drag. Everybody on the same player said, that’s why your system matters for your team. We go to play 2K, right? We got 2K playbook 2K. That’s what I’m saying. But you got your own playbook. Your own playbook is gonna be your lifeblood of your team. The Warrior, I mean the Wizards had they [ __ ] four was out. We It’s gonna be a hard game. If we play against the Kings, same type of team. But we go down here and play against the Spurs, man. We got to deal with how they do in the post. It’s Tim Duncan [ __ ] We go play against Detroit, it’s a whole different game. They’re coming off pin downs and floppy and you know, we like Milwaukee points a game, man. No, it wasn’t. Milwaukee Bucks would be a much better team. the same as these guys. If they got Yiannis off the ball, they was but they were they play no junior but he’s offensive. No, you need somebody different, right? When we got Chanty in Denver with Melo was a game changer. I’m saying so Melo didn’t bring the ball up the floor as much to initiate his own offense. We know you’re going to get yours, but let somebody else initiate it. So, it’s a different look for the all for the defense. Are those guards still around? Yeah, you can that can you can you there’s some out there. Dame wasn’t No, no, no, not even Dane wasn’t the right Dame wasn’t the right fit, I don’t think, for him and Giannis because of style of play. Yeah, right. I agree. I agree with that. Melo and Chanty both half court players. Giannis is a fast break guy. Dame is a half court guy. Wasn’t going to work. Russell Westbrook, Melo, same thing. Russ is a fast break guy, mellow half court guy. Not gonna work, right? Giannis needs somebody to young Giannis get ahead of the ball. What he’s saying, right? You get the same look sometimes. If you get ahead of the ball, go down there early, post up, throw it in the early, they collapse, you kick it out for threes, right? So instead of him bringing the ball up the floor as much as he does, you get him off the floor, you force him to run. M now you put now you give the defense a different look than him coming down and everybody loading up him running over somebody right it’s so if they got somebody to perfect when when times are there to run you run right of course you get the rebound you get a steal or something the defense ain’t they trotting back and he’s able to push it cool if he’s running up the floor get it out the Anthony Carter pass kick that [ __ ] up and let him do his thing but if he’s bringing it up 85% of the possessions that he’s out there. That’s Yeah. That goes back to communicating. Tyrese, right? Like something like that. Like something like that. That fits his style of play. Yeah. Like that type of guard. Tyrese fits his style of play. You can’t put him out there with a Bronx or what? That ain’t what it is. So, this is But this but this is when people blame when people blame um AAOU. This is the actual problem of AU. Yes, AAOU of playing all the time. That’s not the problem. The problem with AAOU is most teams are built on just pure talent, right? Which means I’m shipping you here, here, here for games. We don’t know each other. Just y’all go out there and play. Mhm. Five out. Just run five out. So, none of these guys are growing up understanding spacing basic plays of basketball, right? You got all these super talented kids who has a bag who don’t know how to use their bag and structure. So when they get to that NBA level and coach starts running a play and their best player that’s number one this number two pick don’t understand the concept of it. Right? I dribble at you. What do you do? I do that give me the ball like he’s not back door like there’s no like yo I dribble at you. You back door, right? Or I spin to you back door. you come for a handoff because they don’t know that. All the NBA did was say, “You know what? Yeah, I’m paying too much money for this kid. I’m not going to deter him from playing this game by putting a whole bunch of plays in that he’s not going to remember.” So, the easiest thing I can do is say, “All right, look, five out. If you have the ball, big man run to a pick. Everybody feel the corners. First, second pass, move after that.” That’s what this offense is now. And that’s why the lost art the lost arts. Not only that, not only that, but the lost art of basketball right now. Let’s talk Steph Curry, right? What does Steph Curry know that all the other players in the NBA are refused to accept? If I set a good screen, what the [ __ ] is going to happen for me? There’s one coming for you getting the ball. I’m going to be open. Right. If they switching, I set a good screen. Like what you just said about the AAOU circuit is they don’t teach, hey, you set a good screen on this guy. They gonna have to switch and do something. You could be open, he going to be open. Mhm. We We don’t even really have to work as far as running plays. But if you go down and set a good screen on the opponent and your guy come off, run off the run off the screen, right? Set him up, run off, all the fundamentals of basketball or have been lost. So wait that’s what I’m saying the coaches don’t run no plays you know funny it’s three games they run some players don’t know how to move without the ball they don’t understand they’re not they wait for high school stay in the corner we came up got a bunch of look if you watch high school basketball now what they’re doing is they’re saying all right these guys are comfortable doing this that’s what we’re going to do so what do they do in practice five on five on there’s no such thing as practice no more they got they have trainers they work on their games and that’s it back door cut just see all that that’s what I’m trying that you’re talking about someone who been in from the beginning you’re talking about a Euro player what I’m saying so you got that was Austin Reed what I’m saying so he’s telling went to college first to learn how to play basketball like these kids are just no not these kids those three men go to school right those three men don’t matter You have a 41y old go to school for years at the wrong time. Take the wrong stand at the wrong place. So undrafted. Bron told you what did he What did Braun say? For sure in that video he said one thing that was very important for years. Correct. Okay. This is my training camp. I’ve never practiced with these guys to his point. It don’t matter. Meaning he’s already playing. Still ain’t practiced with them because they don’t practice. But it’s just individual workout. So you’re just working out by yourself. But everybody’s not the same. I can’t I can’t call the whole NBA dumb. I’m not calling them. No, no, the whole NBA is dumb, man. No. OKC is not calling them dumb. I’m not I’m not OKC. OKC. That’s what I’m saying. OKC. There’s some teams that do that. OKC one of them, but we like we can’t say everybody. OKC plays their game. Yeah. Mhm. Denver plays two early 2000s basketball still. Spurs still trying to figure out what they’re doing. Mhm. But they still have a they have but they have what they’re doing but they’re sitting there trying to figure it out what works best but a lot of teams are just playing five out basketball because it it fits their team. That’s what I’m saying. So that’s why overall it kind of looks all the same over there. That’s what I’m saying. Who’s the best? Golden State Warriors, right? Golden State Warriors. What are you saying? What are you saying? I’m saying everybody don’t do that. I’m No, that’s why I’m not calling everybody dumb. I’m like, yo, that’s what I’m trying to say. We’re saying we’re saying that the league is getting lazy with teaching fundamentals to teach it teams that they dumped it down for the players on their team because they don’t understand. The league is calling them dumb. The league. So I So, so what happened the same [ __ ] plays? You have Golden State Warriors. Golden State Warriors, right? You literally have the three best shooters damn near in history on the same team. They’re taking 40 53s a game. Number one, number two, and number four in the NBA on the chart on one team. Mhm. Now, the following year, they win championships. What does the rest of the league decide to do? We need to figure out we need to shoot 53s. Now, you see the problem play small. You see the problem with this? Yeah. The problem is you don’t have two and four on your team. That’s why they say you have 100 108 356 on your team shooting 43s and you shoot 20% from the three-point line. Like you remember the white Earl uh White Earl Watson got fired. He said he need to shoot 43s a game. He said who’s going to take him on my team? I don’t have I don’t have players on my team that can shoot 43s. So we not He didn’t want to do it. But you want me to take 43 threes a game, but I don’t even have that personnel to do that. And that’s the problem with the NBA. They see something. I I see this looks good and I want to implement it, but I don’t even ha I don’t have that talent here. I don’t have Steph Curry here. I don’t have Clay here. Joe Mazula. Joe Mazula in Boston. That’s what I’m saying. Took that whole You know what? Let’s just [ __ ] shoot good. If it’s a good shot, take it. If you open, shoot it. Mhm. Look at Derek White. You and I both complain about Derek White, but why why he thinks he’s Klay Thompson? Why does he think he’s Klay Thompson? Because he had KD and Steph Curry on the floor, which is Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who’s opening the floor for him to shoot wide open shots. Now you don’t got that. Now you look crazy because you were shooting 603s and y’all were making some, missing some. your whole philosophy to hey man if they go in they go in tonight is not our night but they won with it though they won with it right but is that a formula for success or was that probability not a formula for success for everybody that’s what I’m saying for certain trying to say everybody’s dumb like he’s saying you can’t you got to be dumb if you’re all running the same offense and it’s not working only for just two teams you got to be dumb it’s not dumb it’s the teaching we’re just not teach. No, they don’t teach it. But think about Austin Reed into this conversation, right? Austin Reed went to school for four years. He learned fundamentals, right? [ __ ] everybody into this conversation. No, what I’m saying is, so think of a team that’s like, let’s say Portland, right? You going into training camp and you try to put some plays in and all these athletic kids can’t get the concept. What do they do to you if you couldn’t get our play in training camp? We’re going to sit you on the bench. You can’t. Right. I wasn’t about to start. No. What I’m saying is, so they’re sitting here like, you know what? They’re just playing. They’re they’re they’re too talented. So what we going to do is we going to make it he’s too good not to play. So I’m not doing what we used to do to all that talent that we could have had. So what we’re going to do now, Andre Blotch, all this we you know what? Let’s just run up and down. Run, fill a lane. That’s what they’re doing now. So they’re saying, you know what, we don’t we’re not even going to teach them all these. We going to put in an out-of- bounds play, maybe a side out of bounds play, right? You know what I mean? And I’ll draw some [ __ ] in timeout. Other than that, go stand in the corner. just go stand in the corner for the back. Stand in the corner, wait for the ball to come and they’ll call a play here and there for they’ll call a play here and there for the one they thinking. You know what I mean? So like for Kevin Porter instead of sitting in the corner and we’re going to run some pick and roll him up, right? So we’ll have he’ll have his own little plays, right? So he’ll have his own little play some uh was it uh I don’t know what they call it pick and roll now. Pick and roll with smart in itself though. So we saying that’s not smart being able to know when to back door without plays hand off when you in trouble dribble hand off to this corner go back door. We just seen the Lakers did that too. That’s Lakers. But it’s see OKC do that all the time. But it’s structured up cutting through hand off to this man. That’s you’re hoping something. You’re hoping for something. But you’re talking about the elites teams but the elite team still has a playbook within playbook. You have shock don’t have players. That’s what No, you don’t. You have basketball players on there. They do have players. They don’t have a is a smart basketball player. He ain’t played since game one. He only played one game this year. Kevin Porter Junior person that’s had the ball in their hand. Ryan Ryan Holland, whatever. Shout out Ryan Holland. But also Ryan Rollins. Still what? This his first or second year. He’s been in the league in 2022. He’s played like 81 games total entering the season. the big and Kevin not Kevin Porter the other Porter they all big AJ Greenma you have a veteran team you have a you have a veteran team or you sit up here the ball if you’re going to sit on the couch you have to either leave either watch the games or you making Ryan Rollins do everything he got to do everything he don’t speak for all them only reason not a rookie the only He played a couple good games early. So now you look at him and say, “Hey, let’s hope that you can continue this.” Is this his first over there, too? No, we’re saying instead of having the ball in his hand, they should h they should have an offense. They should have an offense. That’s what we’re saying. They should have an offense because their best player isn’t there who has the ball in his hand. So, they should be playing more like tearing the ball. Yeah. That’s what they should be doing. Not just, oh, let’s just throw the ball around and see who get a shot. That’s weak as [ __ ] And it’s and it’s lazy. It’s lazy coaching, bro. I was just talking about in general cuz y’all was about to start talking about US players is dumb. I heard we couldn’t wait. No, no, we said No, we said the development No, we said the development. We’ve been saying the development in Europe is has always been better. The development in Europe has always been better. But you know soon our like when though when they as our corner go out there and be the man out there too. They learn how to play basketball cuz they corner boys go out there and they get into a structured situation. Be comfortable like like Stanley Johnson. Stanley Johnson right now. Did you go over there? All right. Did you? No. Say the no together. Use your vowels. No. Okay. You went over there. Yes. So you had to integrate the system. Was you the number one? I had to be the number one option and integrate. So when you went over there, right? You had to integrate. Bro, when you went over there, was you number one? So when you went over there? No. So you did you have to learn how to play team ball? No, it was it was a system. It was a system. You got to learn over there. So when you come back, it’s like, man, I’m used to going over there. How they do? They over there playing together. They play together over there. You basically you basically joined the triangle for you. Like this has a system for you. He was a He was a Miami Heat catch and make something happen guy. That’s Miami Heat offense. He is the highest paid over there. He want but he’s in a structure, [ __ ] I’m just saying you can’t I was ready for him to go overseas versus us. Who? Couldn’t wait for it. All right. Well, let’s get this thing moving. We’ve got We don’t know what the [ __ ] he talking about, man. None is a champion over there. Structure, bro. Oh, none. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, structure though. It’s a structure over there. That’s why like he’s going Yeah. China’s just up there. He’s not playing in China. Euro League. Yeah. Luca Jokic. All them guys playing Rubio, bro. They play college basketball. That’s pros. That’s college [ __ ] You won’t get to just come out. The most you going to average in Euro basket is a maybe out there. Sebastian, you know, if that team might elite other than that it’s 15, 13, 11. Hey, that’s elite. That’s elite over there. So, how much none average out here? None twice. How many games none play with the Lakers? 1930. Uh before we close the show, uh we got to talk about a situation that went down in Philly during the Magic Sixers NBA Cup game. We have the video for you to check out. You get your opinion. So, as you can see, 27 seconds left in the first half. Andre Drummond tugged on window Carter’s jersey led to a shoving match with Drummond squaring up with Carter. Jaylen Sug stepped in. Push Carter also got into it with Jabar Walker. Uh Suggs was ejected from the game in the first half. Desmond Bane also got a tug push. So, we have the the closeup doing the jersey tug retent actually unwilling to throw hands and sacrifice game check. So, Suggs was asked about his intervention. Look at Max and ejection and said in my opinion squaring up is a little too crazy. Who got pushed like that? Number 33. Magic went on to 40 piece of sixers. Look at this. Look at that. God damn, man. Little strong ass stocking [ __ ] The one started it. See that haircut right there when you going bold right here and everything else like they don’t care. Looks like mumbles and huddling. I hate that. Just get all evening, bro. trying to poison banana split. Trying to put poison. What was you asking? I don’t know. I just wanted to show the video. Okay. Thanksgiving. No, you said our fight. Listen, man. SC like I ain’t I seen a lot of fights. I ain’t going to put I’ve seen a lot of fights. You square up with your hands at your waist, bro. Like, dude, let’s stop this [ __ ] man. That’s Nick over there squaring up on your ass all you [ __ ] square up with your hand, they going to punch you in your face, man. You do this [ __ ] with your hands down. Like, what do you what what fight motion is this? Like, what fight motion is that? Ball your fist up with your hands at you. And the other kid went the Carter didn’t buy it, said do it. Mhm. Like he wasn’t buying it. So he didn’t take him serious, man. Like it’s just I’m going to get you sucker. Like dude, you’ve got your I’m going to get So just imagine, you know, just hear me out. I’m going to get you sucker. So you do like in certain situations you ball your fist up with certain people, they will punch you. That’s just what it is. With your hands at your waist, you’re going to get punched in your face with some people. That’s just what it is. That’s why you pick and choose. No, you calculate. That’s why you pick and choose. Yeah. Like you gonna get punched with your hands at your waist, man. Like Andre Drummond, you ain’t L. No, it’s Yeah, it’s that’s my type of fighting though right there. Yeah, the fake pushing. Yeah. All the time. Yeah, I’m with it. Fake. Hey, I know you flinch that everybody almost fights on this. You know what I mean? I can see like that [ __ ] I want to see that fight. You ever try to make somebody flinch? Got him. Hey, I know some [ __ ] I did it to Zo. I did it to Lonzo Morning during the game. Like you jumped at me, flinched like a [ __ ] It makes you laugh. And he got kicked out the game. Yeah. But you was probably really ready really wanted to fight. No, I wasn’t going to fight it. That’s the thing. He got into somebody else. Okay. And I came over there and he turned towards me. So therefore, you I flinched at you and it’s That used to be the [ __ ] fight. Hey, no. When you flinch at me, they do this. Yeah. Yeah. You won. It’s like I got you. You won. You won the fake fight. Yeah. I won the fake fight. That was a fake fight. Right. Fight and then you can’t fight. I did it and lift my [ __ ] You can’t [ __ ] with me. Little kid [ __ ] right? You make somebody I’m paranoid in you. Hit him with the little kid [ __ ] after the fact. [ __ ] at him. [ __ ] do this. Make somebody flinch like that. You got to swing. No man. Listen. Andre drum dude. Put your hands. Listen. Yeah. Unball your fist, bro. That’s probably when necessary, man. Unball your fist, man. It’s the NBA cup. Mr. B mean whatever happened that was just like what would have happened is hit him right in his chin while his hands like this. His hands are down. He going to get punched first. No. What would happen then? [ __ ] then would have looked at Drummond like what’s wrong with you dog and you started turn around like bro get off me. And then you punch him for no reason. Cool. Like, oh, you know, and then you doing this. Something going on at home, bro. Something going on. You good, bro? [ __ ] Only fan subscription. That’s what it be. Got cancelled, right? It got cancelled randomly. You missed all the videos gone and you don’t know what to do. This [ __ ] bigger than ever, right? Expired. He disappeared. He disappeared. No, this is my thing. Like 611, right? A [ __ ] 61 7 foot right? Why do this? He got low. Make yourself like what the [ __ ] are you man? No make you 7 ft with wingspan. Like the [ __ ] are you doing window Carter 6. You know what I’m saying? Why make yourself smaller? He been playing video games. Unless you playing on wrestling a [ __ ] video games. You playing on you playing on MMA wrestling [ __ ] doing jiu-jitsu or something like I get it. You get that low. You this big when you playing Mortal Kombat. Yeah, [ __ ] Get low for it, [ __ ] On that note, [ __ ] What? Get low like that, [ __ ] Kick you right in your [ __ ] Moves, [ __ ] On that note, let’s move on to Mostly Fans. Also, look out for that Steph Curry gimme pick to get your Thanksgiving off on the right foot. So, we have one question. Uh, from underdog user BBL Gilly Pill 12. BBL Gilly Pill 12 is the user’s name. Oh [ __ ] Fan of many things. Uh, what was the pettiest thing you’ve seen done to a ref? Pettiest thing you’ve seen done to a ref. Pettiest to a ref. What was the pettiest thing you’ve seen done to a ref from BBL Gilly Pill 12? Pideiest. Not one of the one through 11. BBL Gilly pills D2. Why you keep saying you saying Gilly? Oh, I never really seen nothing. BBL Gilly G with a G. Gilly. So that’s direct to that. Pettius BBL Gilly pill. I know it’s nothing. It is a ref. Yeah. Yeah, I it is. Yeah, we’re getting teched. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. um double checked like doing [ __ ] like he called a foul, he asked for the ball and you throw it to the ref down there. Yeah. Or or or remember when we used to spin the ball and the ref go get it like hit I used all that. That’s petty. I was great at this one on the free throw line. The [ __ ] ball bounce to you and they want you to hand it to Oh no. Just keep let [ __ ] don’t even move [ __ ] ball. That [ __ ] can bounce. Doop doop doop doop. Right here, [ __ ] I’ll do this. Remember that back in the day? Don’t. It’s that petty [ __ ] Oh, they going to give you a text for that [ __ ] too. [ __ ] knee. [ __ ] knee went out. I used to do that all the time. Like, all right. Knee go out. [ __ ] Chanty fired that [ __ ] ball at Spoon before that [ __ ] Listen. I say do that. Fire [ __ ] ass. Oh yeah. Ronald did fire the ball at somebody one time. Yeah. No, this [ __ ] like that. Yeah. It’s words to the refs though. You you can’t be petty with them cuz they got the last say so. Yeah. And they are very vindictive. They definitely got the last part. Yeah. If they feel like they’re being threatened. Oh, I told the ref um he had to go check a play. If he was right, I owed him a steak dinner. That was petty. Never gave it to him. Where was [ __ ] him. Never gave it to Sizzler out. All right. He ain’t re no more. Okay. All right. All right. You’re good. You’re good. you’re good. And I didn’t give a [ __ ] about text really cuz when we came in them [ __ ] are $500. So like and for me to say no you leave them like petty [ __ ] you know you got to make it worth it like Yeah. petty like that [ __ ] like they ain’t taking care of you at home. Yeah. Damn. [ __ ] like that. The wife ain’t doing her job, huh? Yeah. I mean why you tripping? That’s going to get you at that. Yeah. I mean we was in [ __ ] Golden State playing [ __ ] Haywood Workman. You remember Haywood Workman the legend man? He was out there [ __ ] Hey out there trying to act like he was still a player. Man, listen. I talk so crazy that man out there. Did it hurt you guys to see players become refs? Was that like them becoming the ops? Yeah. It was only two. It was only a handful. Not even that many. Got Leon. Yeah. And Hayward [ __ ] Damn [ __ ] You officiating now. You know this life. That’s about it, right? I mean Magic like this. They they petty. They they petty. 14. The Russ petty than the players can. They they got all they got. Yeah. They could be pettier than any of us any given of a day of the week. I got kicked out the game for clapping. My bad. I did. I said I got you on the next one. That’s they stay petty. Don’t tell me you on the next one. No, call that one, [ __ ] Yeah, that’s they p I got you on the next one. No, don’t call the next one. Call that one, [ __ ] Now you missed that one. Call that one the one that you blatant overlook. I missed it. Tony Brothers. Nah, he’s the pettiest ugly. Just the ugly [ __ ] boy. Who them over there? He’ll say whatever. He’ll say whatever he say, bro. He’ll chop back at you, too. He’ll chop back. He don’t like Tony. Hey yo, why is it that we don’t ever see refs? I see him like an offse at the rep. They be at the restaurants creeping with dinner creeping with their creeps. They be at like academy restaurants. I mean all the time. I’ve never I never I mean of course like I mean Yeah. But like you just never see them like Tony the out like he want to be homeboy too. The white was getting hit so bad, man. And I’m like, “Yo, Tony, call a file.” I ain’t tell him to put all those steroids in his body and do all them push-ups. [ __ ] I I thought he can handle it. He say he do 500 push-ups a day. [ __ ] Let me see it. It’s like I don’t like Tony, man. Hey, that’s man. Like that’s a real conversation though. Like he got the little small ass head, big ass body looking like one of the Mario Brothers. And I’m sitting like now you throwing your own but no that’s what he got. 1. I’m Ngl ..
I’m a casual who has no idea about nba I just like watching these guys talk shit.. but my question is why does no one ever talk about the Chicago bulls?

What happened to the Chicago bulls seriously? I never see or hear anything about them
    🤔..

  2. Also btw I believe Gill trust in Rashad more than anyone and actually trying him to raise his stock…….its deep when you pay attention and actually have money instead of hating in your house while nothing is happening for you…hahahahhahahhahaha

  3. Its also hilarious that Gill recognition of talent is not subjective to women's beauty contrary to many accusations, he himself plays with the idea but it's ok if that's your motivation, yet if you pay attention Gill was on ground breaking levels..

  4. GM Gill!!!And I'm expressing his ability to become an curator of talent while being the butt of all jokes also creating space for all…..dude is weird ( I am too fuck all yall) he is amazing in business learn about it clowns

  5. opions dont mean you right… give facts, fuck opions. just cause you give yo opion dont mean somebody can't rebudle your opion with they opion old nigga…. swaggy rage baited kenyon lmao

  6. Listen I’m from Dallas and that man Luka has been doing this shit!!! Like frfr bro he will drop 30 in the 1st half like it’s nothing a lot lol. Right after he was traded and he was nursing that injury he didn’t look good but honestly I give em a pass. This is the Luka that I’ve been watching for years this year.
