Offense and PP finaly showed some life, defense not so good. Cant win them all but man was that one close. Onto Dallas!
I know it’s bad taste to blame the refs… and it certainly was not completely their fault… but everytime I see this crew at the start of the game I know we’re in for some shit officiating.
What a bummer game to lose. That was one of the best home crowds that I’ve seen.
be overly positive if you want, but guys, we have to be worried about the future when we are getting beaten by teams that are “behind” us in the timeline on rebuilds. we’ve got some real problems to sort out
How can we give up so few shots per game and still lose so much? I don’t really get it. Veggie had a ~.750 SV% tonight but it’s not like he’s giving up softies left and right. You would think the team that gives up the fewest shots against per game on average would have a great record. Do we need to play even more defensively? Or less defensively to generate more offense? Seems like we are stifling the “easy” saves and giving up high danger chances? Some adjustments need to be made here.
Habs fans suck, go read the r/hockey thread. Just nothing but hate from these guys we’ve never thought about before tonight.

On my way home from the game and saw a billboard of the score. Don’t fucking remind meeeeee
They need to do something, anything regarding power play.
Gotta give it to Dobes, that guy played his heart out. Honestly feel like we played well (compared to this season) but he was just on a heater.
You cant achieve anything without decent goalies. And Utah doesnt have any.
Anytime I see the black ref skate out onto the ice I know we’re in for a rough night. He also made several shitty calls during the Mammoth’s home opener against Calgary if you recall.
