If you thought he was even on the Cubs board with cheap ass Ricketts. Then you’re just delusional.
I would of loved cease but thats a huge contract for 30 year old who struggles at times
Ricketts won’t spend any money with the looming lockout in ‘27. Or they’ll sign 2 year players and a jewel-osco gift certificate
Not to condone Ricketts lack of spending but that going to be a dead money contract. He’s at his best what a number 2? That’s ace money right there. We have Horton and Wiggins is coming. I want a closer, and a power bat. Then Jed can find his gems to fill the bullpen. Honestly with Imanga back we have like 7 starters now.
