NHL Highlights | Senators vs. Golden Knights – November 26, 2025

The other team in the offensive zone. We’ll see if we can do that and bury some of their quality chances. Opening faceoff tonight sponsored by the Richard Harris Law Firm. The Golden Knights went six, five, and five without him. Shane Pinto into the zone. He’ll throw it towards the net and he scores and appeared to surprise Schmid and Shane Pinto just flung it on the net and it made its way in. play to put it on the net as it’s just a simple kick out play off the wall. But credit to Pinto, he wins the battle. A little stick lift there on McNab and he just throws it towards the net and that goes under the left pad. You can see Schmidt is up against the post. Finds its way in and Pinto makes it one- nothing early. His 11th. Patterson Theodore Dylan Cousins puck loose sod couldn’t play it out. Kept in by the stickup. Duke with some good hand eye. Jake Sanderson lets it rip and he scores. Look like that may have got deflected in front by Bath after the good keep in by Stola. It’s two nothing Senators stays alive and that results in a goal. There’s the play. You see Stola S gets everything he wants on that but it’s knocked down to Sanderson and there’s the shot. Traffic in front that goes straight in. So Sanderson goals in back-to- back games. Can see the screen in front. He had Cousins out high, Dylan Cousins, and then Bath right in front. Two goals in back-to- back games. Okay, they got it to 2-1 in Utah the other night. They dominated the second period, but left the second period still down by a goal and did not have the push they needed in the third. Here’s How making a push. Back score. Terrific speed and a terrific finish for Brent Howen to get the Golden Knights on the board. The pass. Watch the stretch pass. Marner gets it. It’s tough to tell from that angle. He’s able to hold the line and then great move by How to go into the backand. Takes a skate to stick. Looks like he has possession as he takes it in. That is great coordination by Martner to get that skate to stick with possession to keep it on side and find Howen who makes a terrific move at the end going to the back hand to beat Hallmark. Oh, what a play Theodore Mner and then the finish by Howen. A terrific work all around. Now Matt playing into Sanderson and around the horn from Zuba. Wrist shot save made Schmid rebound and he got a piece of that too. It’s a manio put it on net and Michael starts it out five straight point games with points on the road and a wrist shot save made before the loss in LA the other night. Barner just got dumped in front. His skate came up towards the mask of now back the other way. Bath scores. Stokes on a bath and a huge goal for Ottawa late in the first to go back up by two all the way from the back. Here’s the play up the goal. Just not good slot coverage on this as there’s Bath wide open right below the hash marks and he gets a great feed from Stutzla and he goes glove side. His eighth of the season and the Senators back up by two. play. So, some power play time to begin the second brought to you by Toyota. They’ll move it in front. Good read by McNav and an easy clear for Stone down the ice. Oh, good job just stopping off the rush, not allowing easy zone entry at center ice. Dylan Cousins, captain. A great py kill. top of his head as he steps up on Matson. A big check by the captain. Theodore takes it away from Pon and now Theodore with the lead pass on the money to Barbershed with Michael and Bowman coming. Bowman all alone and a save all mark. Now down low scores. Barbers found Michael for the easy tuck on the back hand and Vegas within one and half. chance and a big stop on Bowman. I love the rush up the ice. Everybody thinks it’s going to go. Barbers finds Bowman tries to go glove side, but it’s puck recovery. We talked about no more one and done finding the second chances. That’s what happens as Barbers just throwing to the net. There’s Eel coming out from behind the goal line and an easy backand as he has his own Theodore trying to find some deadline. Big drive from Stone on a save. McNav beats it. Arner down low trying to slide it home and Omar with a pad. Senators control the draw. Cleven a little lifts it out. Bouncing puck to Dylan Cousins trying to find the net and a save made Schmid. For Corzac and having a tough one there as his offensive zone draw. They both get beat back as Cousins goes flying right from the face off as he gets in all alone. That is a huge save under the left arm of and out of the reach of both Kasar and Smith. Nick Cousins the other way. Sends it in. White Cloud cut off by Nick Cousins who leveled him with a good hit. Nick Cousins as Whitecloud turns right into this. Theodore feed it. Marner popping up top. Stone down low. Back hands in front and Theodore couldn’t finish it. Jensen ahead of Barbersh. Hurle picks it off after Barbersha finished a hit on Jensen. Hurdle takes it in behind it and centered it and a save. Omar slowly through center. Lead past gains the line trying to cut all the way in and lost it. He got hooked on the way or slashed but no call. Jackson more determined. So we’ll see if they have it here in the third. And Schmidt able to kind of fight through it. You know Darren Elli’s talking about after after a bad first goal to Stone looking towards the net and Paulo with a poke check. Stone back behind the cage dishing it for Eel and out top is Mner. Eichel the hurdle. Shot blocked. Stone trying to center it. Score. Stola inadvertently put in his own net. Stone will get it on the power play to tie the game. He’s trying to get this over to Doria. They’re moving it around. They tried some plays out high. There’s a low and then yeah, just trying the centering feed as it hits Stutla in front. Actually, it might have been Mapalo who even swept it away from Stone and it goes off Stutla and past the extended left pad of Allar as Mark Stone in his return will pick up his third of the season to tie this up. And Apollo kind of sweeps it across off of Stout and in wide falls down and back out of the fence. They’ll flip it high to the Vegas line and Stutzler out to center ice over the last two periods. The shots are 18-8 in favor of the Golden Knights and they scored both goals. Barber trying to dangle through and shut it down. Smith able to hold the short side. Barber step up and it springs EL with Sanderson chasing him and a save mark. He was drifting back into the net but kept the puck out on the change. There’s the look finds wide open and goes Eel. You can see the great skating of Sanderson to get back. Anybody else? Lemon out top looking shot blocked by Barbers. Now Berson Lemon one last chance. James Smith on the rebound put wide by Stokes in San Jose. Bruce Cass is saying before the game the other day in Utah feels his team is not lack of confidence. They’re too casual in the overtime. See if they can remedy it tonight with Mner and Barbershv. The trio now for Vegas. Lead pass Hipin to Mner. Carter had Barbers his shot off the crossbar. Jaru credit one generating some speed in the Ottawa zone. One minute to go in the overtime sponsored by credit one back Jiru trying to drive all the way to him and Schmid chased down by Stone in deep all the way in behind the net. Pinto stayed with it though and that’ll do it for OT. one for two this season. Picked up his eighth goal earlier tonight. He leads it off for the Senators. Meandering his way in. Save Sch Smith. He’s coming in with speed. He’s looking to go blocker’s side. I love the Schmid stayed with it. He read this all the way. Stling Vegas on the board here. S not sure it’s out going back trying to get it to the five hole. That one goes up and down and we’re trying to take a look here. You can’t tell. Open the scoring in the opening minute of the game for the top of the top of the third for Ottawa. Scores freezes on the first play right here. Going to freeze and then goes to the foreand pass the glove side. Now the Golden Knights need a goal from Mitch Martner to keep it. Here he comes. Save all mark. And the Senators win.

Shane Pinto fired home the game’s opening goal and also tallied the shootout winner to lead the Ottawa Senators past the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3.

  1. I was there. I was at that place in person. It was insane, but the golden Knights lost sorry to say golden Knights😔 we lost, but it was pretty cool😎

  2. Hey, wasn't Marner on offside at the first goal? He went whole behind blue line and puck was still before it. I was preety sure this goal will be waived off but it counted. Or maybe there are some hidden rules i am not aware of? 🙂

  3. If im Vegas, needing a tying shootout goal on the 3rd shot to force another round, otherwise its game over, im putting Shea Theodore out there, over the last 9 years, he is the only player on the VGK that has been any kind of consistant on shootouts.
