Dallas Cowboys LATEST NEWS & UPDATES Ahead of Week 13 Thanksgiving Matchup Against Chiefs!

All right, y’all. Y’all know what time it is. The Dallas Cowboys are getting ready to take the field just a few days after their shocking upset of the Philadelphia trash pigeons. This time they’re taking on Patty Mack and the Kansas City Chiefs. Let’s get right into it as we have some news and updates concerning this game for both the Cowboys and the Chiefs, and I’m going to give you my thoughts on how the Cowboys can come away with a victory. Be sure to subscribe for more Dallas Cowboys content on the regular. and let’s get right into man. Shut your up. All right, we have the Cowboys versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are six and five. The Cowboys are 55 and one. The Chiefs are currently averaging 25.2 points per game, good enough for ninth in the NFL. And the Cowboys are averaging 29.1 points per game, good enough for fourth in the NFL. So, two very highscoring teams. And it’s very likely we end up seeing a track meet in this one. But I’m going to talk to you about how we can possibly avoid seeing a track meet in just a second. Point differential, the Chiefs have been absolutely blowing people out the games that they have actually won. They have a point differential of plus 76, which is good enough for six in the league, while the Cowboys are plus six for 17th in the league. Now, one interesting advantage that I didn’t think I would be talking about as pertains to the Cowboys versus a Patrick Mahomes le Kansas City Chiefs team. The Cowboys seemingly have the advantage as pertains to performance within close games. Record in close games. The Chiefs are just one and five on the season, which means they are struggling to close the deal and or get back into games and kind of finish the deal off after they’ve already kind of trucked back. The Cowboys are 22 two and one. So, while they’re not under 500, they are hovering right at 500. Literally, you can’t get no more 500 than that. 22 two and one. Um, and then outside of that, man, the turnover differential, the Chiefs are plus one. With turnovers, the Cowboys are minus 4. Uh, the Chiefs turnover differential is interesting because Patrick Mahomes has not had a great stretch of games over the last few weeks. Over the last three weeks, Patrick Mahomes has just been held to one passing touchdown and three interceptions with a 72.7 passer rating. And this is actually quite surprising. And it’s kind of scary. I ain’t going to lie to y’all, it’s kind of scary cuz you would have to think that Patty Mack is about to break out of that slump any moment now. And I just really, really, really hope it don’t happen against the Cowboys. Man, the Chiefs are already going to get some extra added help in this matchup against the Cowboys as their running back is supposed to be back. Isaiah Pacheco is finally back for the Chiefs. And the Chiefs do have one of the better rush efficiency offenses in the league. So, we are going to have to check for that. Um, Isaiah Pacheco, he he runs hard. He’s one of those guys if you give him an open lane without him getting touched, he will gash you. But, I don’t think that we’re going to have much of an issue with that. And with that being the case, I’m going to focus mainly on the passing offense of Kansas City because I think that’s where the Cowboys can really make their head. really just do not see Isaiah Pacheo being able to give the Chiefs enough to realistically beat the Cowboys in a game where um they’re having to be onedimensional for the running game, right? Uh but beyond that, they are actually going to be without Noah Gray, their tight end um opposite of Travis Kelce. So, they’re going to be down their younger tight end. We have uh Christian Rolland Wallace. He’s a cornerback. He’s going to be out as well. And then we have Trey Smith, the guard, the very, very good guard for the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s going to be out. That is great news for one Quinnon Williams. That is great news for one Kenny Clark. That is great news for one Osa Adigi. And I think the Cowboys will have the advantage there in the interior of that line. Now, let’s get into some of the news as pertains to this game because the Cowboys will be without Tyler Gayton. All right, so Tyler Gayton will not play. Um he had two DMPS this week. Had a high ankle sprain in that last game against Philadelphia, which means Nate Thomas will get the start for the Cowboys at that left tackle position. And this honestly, this is okay. I’m not going to lie. It’s not too much of a drop off from Tyler Gen to a Nate Thomas. Um if any at all, honestly speaking, um even though Tyler Gen has had a really good season, Nate Thomas has looked really good in the chances he has gotten as well. So I don’t I don’t foresee any issues coming from that left side of the line. Now, he will be tested because the Kansas City Chiefs leading pressure uh player is going to be George Carlos, which he’s an edge player. And obviously, you have Chris Jones in there as well. And I think Chris Jones moves around the line quite a bit. So, they are going to be tested on the edge and in the interior of our offensive line, but I think that them boys been battle tested at this point. At this point, they’re lining up against Quinnon Williams, Kenny Clark, and Osa Diggizu every day in practice. They’ve seen Jaylen Carter. They’ve seen all these dominant interior forces thus far this season. I think that Tyler Booker and Tyler Smith, they’re going to be up for the challenge of a Chris Jones. I do expect to see Chris Jones win a couple of reps, but I don’t think it’s going to be anything to where he just wrecks the game. I do think our offensive line is going to hold up against the Kansas City Chiefs defensive line, if not kind of be a little dominant against those guys because we’ve seen the Kansas City Chiefs struggle on that line at different times in the season. Uh, most notably, they struggled very heavily against the Philadelphia Eagles and they struggled against a couple of other teams as well. So, that defensive line for the Kansas City Chiefs absolutely can be bullied. Now, this is where you’re going to have to make your hay on the Chiefs because you’re going to have to run that ball. One of their best players on defense outside of those two D line that we just talked about is Trent McDuffy as a corner. He’s more than likely going to be matched up on CD Lamb, I would assume. I would assume they’re going to put Trip McDuffy on CD Lamb 101 and then they’re going to shade a safety over the top of George Pickkins and I would think that’s how Steve Spagnola is going to play that. With that said, the Kansas City Chiefs love to blitz. So, if they’re going to be blitzing and they’re going to have a safety up high, they’re going to have a single high safety or whatever it may be and then have guys one-on-one matchups with CD Lamb, I think Dak Prescott is absolutely going to rip them up. They’re going to come have to come out that blitz. And the Kansas City Chiefs, thus far this season, they have an extremely high blitz rate. That defense has actually been blitzing, I think, like 32% of the time so far this season. So, they’re they love the blitz. Um, and they have the ninth highest rate in the league with that 32.2%. So, that’s right on track what Steve Speno likes to do. You expect to see some blitzes. Expect to see some guys dropping back into coverage trying to kind of trick Dak Prescott. Um, you’re going to see defenses play like that a lot. They’re not going to just sit back into a soft zone because Dak is going to eat that up. Um, they’re more than likely going to try to bring some exotic pressures, probably some DB blitzes, some corner blitzes, and then dropping defensive ends and linebackers back into coverage to try to trick Dak up a little bit because in the past, that’s where you could kind of see him struggle a little bit is when guys, he just doesn’t see it. He just doesn’t see it because they may drop into coverage a little later or something. So, I expect to see a healthy do dose of blitzes. I expect to see Trent McDuffy shading. um CD Lamb and I expect to see them having selfie safety help over the top for George Pickkins. With that being said, Jake Ferguson is going to be a big Jake Ferguson game. I think I think we’re probably going to see Jake Ferguson pull in probably about six, seven catches if I’m being honest. I think Ferg is probably going to have about six or seven catches. And I think that they’re going to have to soften up that Kansas City Chiefs defense by running the ball effectively. And I think the Cowboys absolutely can accomplish that. Now, with that being said, as far as the defensive side, they’re going to have to play man. You’re going to have to see a healthy dose of man. If we play a bunch of zone in this game, Patrick Mahomes is going to get right. He’s going to end up picking that zone apart. And you absolutely cannot do that against a quarterback that can make all the throws that Pat can, but also understands what the hell he’s looking at like Pat does. So, what you need to do, especially knowing that Kansas City doesn’t have the most talented receivers, is I would at least keep single high safety. So, that way you don’t get anything over the top of you. But also a lot of man coverage. A lot of man coverage. Make these receivers, these these kind of not really made men type receivers. Make them boys kind of make a name for themselves and have to make plays, man. Make it harder on them. Press man coverage. Give your pass rush time to get there. Mattflu is going to have to dial it up in this game, but he’s going to have to be very smart with how he dials it up. But guys are going to have to get there. I expect to see a lot of fiveman fronts for the Cowboys and then everybody else may be dropping back into like a two high look or something like that. But I I expect to see a lot of fiveman fronts because the Cowboys have have done pretty well getting pressure with those fiveman fronts. And I think if you can allow those interior guys to kind of put pressure on Pat from the middle of the pocket, then that’s going to force him to kind of drain out the pocket. You got the Marv on over and Kenneth Murray them boys. They’re going to be able to track Patrick Mahomes sideline to sideline. We know he loves to escape the pocket and try to get a first down with those legs. So, have the Marvon overone kind of spy him a little bit, but outside of that, you’re going to have to get some pressure. Um, I wouldn’t try to get the pressure blitzing too much because I think Pat is going to make you pay if you do that. So, no soft zones, no obvious blitzes that you know, a guy like a Patrick Mahomes obviously knows, oh, okay, I’m hot right here. I need to go here. Nothing that he can diagnose pre- snap. It’s going to have to be a lot of postnap movement. It’s gonna have to be a lot of post snap kind of trickery going on to kind of just make Pat hold on to the ball a tick longer. That’s going to be your goal right here is to one get pressure home on him and two have him hold on to that ball a little bit longer cuz that’s where you can see him get into some trouble cuz he’ll try to force some things to happen. But if he gets into a rhythm and he’s able to get to the top of his drop and let that ball go and they’re going using a bunch of swing passes and screen passes, which they’re going to do. The Kansas City Chiefs love love love passing the ball behind the line of scrimmage. They’re going to use some screen passes with Isaiah Pacheco. Um, they’re going to use some little quick routes, little quick uh in routes with uh guys like a Travis Kelce and people like that. I think our linebacker shouldn’t have too much of an issue. I don’t really have much concern about our safety trying to cover a guy like a Travis Kelce. I just think the key to this game overall is absolutely going to be can you get pressure on Patrick Mahomes? If you cannot get pressure on him, you’re probably going to lose. If you can get pressure on him, you’re going to give yourself a chance. Stay disciplined on the back end. Don’t let anybody get past you or run in front of your face without tracking them. Otherwise, Patrick Mahomes is going to hit that guy. So, you got to make sure you stay disciplined on the back end, get pressure on the front end. Uh Matt Eaflu may have to even dial up some simulated pressures. Just some stuff to make Patrick Mahomes move off his spot a little bit. And I think that it’s it’s we’re in for an interesting game. By no means is there an easy answer. By no means is there a a quick solution to how to beat the Kansas City Chiefs, especially with Patrick Mahomes, cuz they’re never out of any game. you’re going to have to get up on them early. You do not want them hanging around at the end of the game. I think by the time the fourth quarter comes around, you want at least a two-sour lead on the Chiefs. If not, hold your breath, y’all. It’s going to get a little hectic. But either way, um those are my thoughts about the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys game. I’m going be completely honest. I think I see the Cowboys winning this one 30 to 21. 30 to 21, 304. I’m thinking it’s going to be one of those type of games. Let me know your prediction down in the comments below. And what do you think about all the latest news today as far as the injury report and stuff like that? And how do you think the Cowboys can do um the impossible and beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day? Let me know down below. Till next time, I’ll see you on the next one. Cowboy, texting me, paging me, asking me. Y’all use the check on me. Listen, listen, listen. I’m still in boys. Hey, I’m still them boys.

  4. I really hope that our offense have the running game ready. But I know that our Defense is going to bring it aggressively. Please no slow start with the Cheifs. This is a very good team.
