SB Nation Reacts Results: How confident are you that the Saints are headed in the right direction?

We’re headed in a direction and that already is better than last year where we were “just keep doing what we’re doing”
While Loomis is the GM I don’t have confidence that we are moving in the right direction
all you guys do is whine…….Geaux Saints !
Very!
Kellen Moore is proving to be a very capable coach, both in how he calls and structures games, and his personnel decisions as well. Because he was so deliberate, we now definitively know which of our QBs will be the guy going into next year, we have likely fixed our weakness on special teams, and we also know some offensive and defensive rosters moves we can make in the off season.
Going into a team as dismal as ours and potentially having a turn around in as early as a year, that’s really doing something.
Team finally got the guac
I appreciate the positivity of this sub, but not one bit.
Loomis staying on until death, taking that long to replace a kicker, our QB situation, the amount of linemen we need on both sides of the ball but keep whiffing on, and not one thing that points me to real change has me on the side of those wanting real change and clear direction. We need to actually be rebuilding, not using that as an excuse.
Free fall is a direction right?
Confident they have a QB, but not too confident they will draft the pieces around him. Maybe they can re-create 2017 draft class.
Lol.
With the same Brain trust and GM I’m confident they are heading in the same direction…you do the same thing you get the same results. The rest is just copium and spin…
I’m very confident that we won’t contend for another Super Bowl as long as Mickey is GM unless he lucks into one of the greatest HC/QB combos in NFL history.
The right direction? We’ll probably win more games next year than this. Same for the year after that. So, there ya go
I am excited (maybe deluded) Moore is 100% better than what he has shown this year
It’s still just too early to tell. The pats didn’t look like they were going in the right direction..until they did.
If we stop extending toxic contracts this offseason we are going in the right direction. simple as that.
I think we are heading in the right direction. I think Moore is a talented coach and we are clearly seeing where the holes are in the roster. Guys are in position to make plays and they have not been doing it. He also seems to have a good eye for talent with the rookies in this draft performing well.
I just think with the salary cap mess we have been in we haven’t been able to keep our best talent for a few years now and we are suffering. I would like to see Moore get 5 years at the helm.
They traded away a top-10 pick as recently as 2023, so I would say not confident at all.
I’m confident the duo of Gayle and Mickey will guarantee we don’t see a Lombardi.
I’m not sure we’ll see the playoffs with those two in charge.
I’m a Whodat through and through, Louisiana love is deep, but this partnership has tried my patience with both their on the field and off the field activities.
